Not sure where to put feedback, but i guess I’ll put it here. Have the voyager. Love the ship, love the idea around the different pulls etc, that said, the mining is a bad joke. I need 38k rare to get my rare pull and I’ve been sitting in 3819 with my last 50k worth of space on my last token for the past 8 hrs. I dont want to leave because too long before i get more tokens, but the refresh on the nodes is ridiculous. I’m pretty sure my voyager is not intended to spend the day waiting in a mining system. F-

Apparently they wont refresh on their own so i have to wait for another player to finish these common and then just “give” me the rare when it finally pops up.

@willow cedar I submitted the same feedback since week one. I have tons of alow miners on my server hoarding nodes that will take days if not weeks to empty before they can re espawn.

There are 2 rare nodes in each system. I currently - tier 2 voyager / mining research Lvl 3 / clear a rare node with 150k / hours. If there is a miner sitting on that node - good luck - they take up to 15 days (350 / hours for a Nova as example) to clear that node. New nodes don’t spawn until the previous had been mined. As well go into galaxy view and back into the system, as there is a visual glitch not showing always all nodes in the system.

Just out of curiosity with the current release rate of the new core missions how are we supposed to finish the event?

1 mission every 2-3 days and there are 5 to go and the event ends in 8 days.

I think the first improvement to communication, is to have it lol. But really they know when they are planning on dropping the missions. It could have been listed in the patch notes. That would at least have given people days to pay attention to. But the bigger concern is people have to budget their time. Forcing a schedule on them makes things harder.

We were told slow roll out, yes, this is slower than I think I expected from that announcement and it does leave people much later doing missions (and remove flexibility which is important for players that are at war)… what is important is that we articulate why it’s an issue (properly, not just stamping feet because it’s “different” - that’s not a convincing argument) so that they understand why they shouldn’t do it like this 🙂

There was an event that, as I understood it, only scored a point if you were missing a point. So there are 14 events that could have gotten you points, but you can only have 13 points.

The event only pops after you've finished the first heroic SMS. So you'll need to spend another 6m pts to finish that one.

No, the event only shows up after you collect the rewards for the first. So I did all my rounds of ship upgrades, which was enough to make it halfway through the second one, but I didn't get credit because I hadn't accepted the rewards for the first in order to activate the second event that no one knew about.

To me, partaking in the world-building efforts is the reason to play the/a game. This month, the missions were tied into some events that ran that day so even more care was part of the design. Skipping scenes is just running the game on auto, and pressing buttons for power.

Not necessarily, the SMS is damage based, so in theory if you have the directives you could just hit 1 solo and earn the milestones. The part that sucks is that if you can't win with your alliance you chould be saving up your directives for when you can.

Everyone gets scoring from the first & second cards. Those should be gimmes for the active player, and would lead to a tie for all f2p participants. The 3rd card is where effort can give you an advantage.

And even that is pretty diluted if you have a hoard of recruit tokens.

Are you being intentionally obtuse. The third card points are not the problem. It is the first card problem where you get points from the completing storyline events. A story line event that now requires I get to 4 level of a PvP event which I will not be able to do because I’m level 32 and most of my server is level 35+ and I won’t be able to kill enough to do that because PvP is essentially unfair and there is a great jump in ship power from level 32 to 35. And before you say just level up. I’m for the most part ftp and I can’t keep up with the spenders. Which is the point of these events I know. I know by know I should have just stopped playing the game as your business model is just to burn guppies and cater to the whales. I’m just sick of it.

The pvp event to MS4 will finish the storyline SMS and score in the Borg-themed pvp SLB. That's all it does. A shortcut to double-dip in two events.

so here's how you do it: i park my north star, join the event, and you crash your realta into it, giving me points. You also toss out your north star & join the event and I throw my realta at that, giving you the points. Trade with a friend.

yes there's a seperate discussion about PVP in this game... but you have miner killing, base humping, trading hits, kililng pve with pvp crews so it's hard to craft a "good" pvp event ... though #bringbackg2 pvp

Tbh I’ll harvest probably cause it will be the only way to get any points. And pvp is not a bad thing but the execution of this event is horrible. Like if u see my Sanctus in a system your gone. By optional I mean not needed for finishing required events for this arc. Hitting top 10 gives a minimal number of pulls from the special isolytic artifact gallery. Hitting #1 gives 50 shards for one artifact. We will get those eventually anyway.
