There are some mines where if you try to mine and no one is there, the game acts like someone IS there and gives you a message about attacking will end your shielding. One spot I know of is Tejat.

@umbral nexus since I got you on the line, when exiting an event menu window (like lets say Daily Events and looking at one of the faction rep event SMSs) it takes you to the Event Store menu instead of back to the list of Daily Events. This is SUPER annoying.

Yes, I wasn’t sure because I’m just staying shielded and mining because of this issue. Just checked and it occurred. Some players definitely seem aware and exploit this by targeting multiple times.

outside of Norton AV, not running anything, I remember a month back I had to add a path to bypass the PRIME.exe from scanning was needed to start the game.

because when it downloaded the first time Anti Virus blocked files

So it needs the update still basically to refresh everything that was blocked

So the 'not this arc, but present since a few weeks' bug where you go into Daily events, tap the Klingon Rep event card, then back out, and see blank list of daily events ... is still present. Yet, when I go to the event store, and it has nested cards, they all refresh properly. Obviously different code, not sure if the daily coders can learn from the event coders or chase their bug faster knowing this, but worth mentioning IMHO if for no other reason than to re-iterate this bug is still present and still annoying. It also exhibits when going into the Icarus Factor event card list and choosing any of those cards, e.g. 'The Icarus Factor - AMS', backing out, and then 'Icarus Factor' is 100% blank, nothing but a label and a back arrow:

System hang, and hang and hang, please ask your devellopers to code correctly. If antivirus block the app this is because the app do something wrong, never you have to stop your antivirus, never, never, never.
System hang because of flood of memory and ressource, this is not normal.
I detect an abnormal use of my network, this is not normal.
Lot of paid players stop playing for this.

Just from personal experience playing games for a while now, I noticed that many games were being blocked by the anti virus that I was using when I was trying to update

Sometimes the permissions of an anti virus can be very restrictive and target things that aren't issues but the settings make it appear as an issue

a quite annoying bug is the loading of "empty" tabs when you use the Back arrow in the top left.
Here an example:

I go into daily events, want to check the details on the Officer Recruit event and when I go back, I get an empty Daily events folder which I can leave only by hitting the Back arrow again which gets me to the Events main tab. so I have to enter the Daily Events again to be able to check details on any of the Daily events.

Happens with all events that are further down the hierarchy and I want to get back up

You have no info to be able to make that determination. If you go to a restaurant and there is issues with card payments, it could be due to restaurant, service provider, internet provider, whatever.

Either way there’s a dozen links in the chain. All what this helpful lot are suggesting is you try an alternative chain (or use cash instead of card, in the analogy)

You missed my point with the card readers. I didn’t say the router was completely without merit. I’m saying it is highly improbable that it will correct the issue, even though we don’t know for sure what that issue is. Multiple people are reporting this same issue at the same time, and it is therefore unlikely related to one person’s router considering that the others reporting the same issue don’t have replacement routers to be a factor.

You're assuming his problem is the same. Yours is a common connection issue with the server as diagnosed by 70-76% stalling point. His is extreme slowness from start to around 8-9%, an extremely rare stalling point, and very different from yours.

The only reason someone has a new router in a box next to them is because of internet issues, and if they choose to leave it there rather than installing it, then it's highly likely his connection problems are due to that choice.

Specifics:
My officer's health stats has shown 25k on my Stella.
I was using Beverly, Picard and Khan for an Eclipse Armada.
After my shield was down, Beverly should regenerate 75k of shield(300% of officers health stats)at the behinning of next round.
Next round the first hit of armada took 13k shield down, so there should be left about 62k shield.
But there was no shield left at the second hit in this round and all not mitigated damage went to the hull.

OMG go back and read his original post. He didn’t get the slowness until he attempted reinstallation AFTER the game “failed to load.” He never mentioned at what percentage his load stopped before he attempted to uninstall and reinstall. I thought this was the space to report bugs and not the space to get flamed for pointing out the obvious.

If it is iOS your progress is stored in apple Game Center. Make sure that you are logged in with same Apple account before you reinstalled it

Settings -> Game Center and check if you are signed there. Log out in STFC then sign in in Game Center and restart app and check if it now loads the right profile. If that does not work reinstall app after you signed in to Game Center or try to switch account in the game setting after you signed in to Game Center. If that works then register to scopely ID afterwards so you can easily switch your game to other devices if needed

This is caused for 1 of 2 reasons.

1. you scored while outside the alliance so don’t gain its AMS rewards
2. This event type doesn’t allow to gain rewards after you leave even if you join back without scoring

Same, they are trying to get people to promote. Which is fine if you want to. I have a strategy so I’m working on ships and officers and gathering materials before promoting. It is really fun to play this way, but I have to miss out on this event if upgrading ops is the only way to spend a speed-up.

Away teams: current game version has a four part setting for selecting away team members. Why doesn’t my setting stick. If I want it different, I can change it back. As it is I have to waste time every time I start an away team assignment putting it back the way I want it.

Because the definition of the input is wrongly given by Scopley.
For instance the speeds to be used they're defined as non specific- so one can understand they can apply speed-up for anything(build, repair, research).
Only that... it doesn't count (score) for everything.
It only counts if you apply speeds for building , not for repairs for instance.
And if you don't have any building anymore because you finished building everything at your level, you're screwed because you're blocked.

Had the same issue. Lvl 19 swarms don't score on the events. Has been an issue for a little while as the last event that used swarm clusters from lvl 15+ had the same issue.

The Jelly fish's Ability falsely applies to Scott's officer ability I guess.
Take Scotty off and look at the warp range without him. Add his Warp range and you know where you can actually travel

So according to your client you can reach the system, but the server says "Nope. Not enough warp range, you only got [Insert actual warp range]"

Would be nice, if, when you open the scrolldown menu for the filter type in the Away Mission Tab, that the Menu entries would start with the TOP and not the Bottom values !

Also, nice that you added a filter button where you can set a filter to the officers. Would be nice if that filter retained it values after selecting them for a mission. It is rather bothersome that when you want to filter the available officers for multiple away missions, that the filter resets each and every time you started an away mission.
I mean, when I decide that officers already on away mission or those on non-docked ships should be ignored, why would I the game assume for me that I may want to decide to ignore the exclusion and present me every officer again

Maybe just add a tick-box where you can say, hey game, please remember my selection of filters until I change them on my own again

On EU130, the Constina system is bugged:

1. Opening a window (chat, events, gifts, helps, etc.) hangs the client when opened in that system
2. Hostile card (scan/attack) is invisible

Definitely bugged, but you can still hit them. The attack button is active, but you can’t see it. So it will still attack when clicking in right slot

two days ago went to use my tritanium tokens to repair ship... clicked on only the 100k ones and somehow ALL my 10k and 1m tokens disappeared... spent the last of my spending money today 19.99 pack... same thing happened... This is extremely ridiculous. i am level 40 and i have a tier 3 franklin A and the system says I cannot have a Franklin Warp RElay Mk 11 which ican get until level 41. That is the only thing stopping me from tiering up

Franklin A tiers are level limited from the beginning. You will get warp relay for free once you lvl to 41.

Even though the pop is not loading (visually) you can tap the attack button as if i would be visible. I have the same but finished it that way. just note, that the complete UI bugs in this situation. So just kill the hostiles and fly home, restart and you are fine. dont chat or open other menus in between

Since unlocking a fourth officer preset, one gets cleared everytime I open the menu. So effectively I still only have three, haha. Is this a known bug?
