If you have lag and a significant issue that makes the game unplayable, every player should have those events auto completed with rewards. This isn't an unfamiliar problem. Some players on our server haven't been able to log in for a week. Instead of identifying and fixing the issue, support is asking if the ticket can be closed. They aren't setting a shield until the next successful login, nor are they providing adequate communication. Of course, that's exactly what you want when you've already invested a lot of money into your account.

it happened on my android phone with update 98:

• game forced me to update in google play store
• first regular start after the sucessful update the game was stuck on 70%
• restarted multiple times, always stuck at 70% and not loading any background data anymore (so no silent background-update while in loading screen)
• finally decided to completely uninstall the game in google play store and risking to loose all my progress
• did uninstall, restarted mobile phone, freshly installed STFC from the store
• first start: when loading screen progress bar went to 70% i got a "privacy settings" welcome screen where i can accept/decline sharing my user data
• after choosing my option (declined everything) the game was able to complete loading screen and i was back in the game and lost nothing

my guess on the problem:
i know that after setting the privacy settings that choice is running out after a predefined period (i dont know if 3, 6 or 12 months) and every app needs to ask again for players choice.

obviously after the past privacy settings got invalidated and need to get set again by the player the game never bings back the "privacy settings" screen but instead stucks on 70% progress, because there are no valid privacy settings anymore.

and this is the reason why support and CMs always tells the user to manually deinstall and reinstall the game as a lousy workaround. 😉

we know that Scopely never fixes their broken mess and this workaround is the only solution that might (or might not) work for everyone affected.

Is anyone at Scopely going to acknowledge/address/fix the lag issues plaguing the game. We constantly get fobbed off with " we're looking into the lag issues " and no resolution materialises. It's genuinely hard to play the game at all with any level of consistency. If you don't address this soon their will be no one left to fund the game. I personally refuse to pay for anything anymore until you fix the fundamental issues killing the game.

There's always been a few tasks for buyers which from my POV should be left out but well.. then again there's quite some high scoring you can do as f2p. What I'd criticise is that when exchanging tasks, especially for the 10 k, you have a loop with few different only, I even had it several times that the replacement was identical

On APAC server our alliance chat is continuously stopping working, we need to clear the localizations and reboot numerous times.
and when gets the damn lag fixed, sometimes the game stays frozen for a minute, or the ships not appaerimg, or the nodes nit appearing, in solo waves the hostiles still hit the Center even we have targeted it long before.
Is this the new state of this game, does this get fixed or does it stay this way?
We rather wants to have the whole,embalmed fixed instead have new ships, more grinds and stuff.
Fix the game first then we are all back supporting scopely.

Of the same hostile level, sure... but when you are f2p, your Squall can only hit hostiles lower than the hostiles you can hit with your other, faction, ships.
My d'd gives me "additional points" since I can hit 62s with it. The Squall, only 56.
"Normally", when they say a certain ship gives extra/additional points, it's multiplier.

I'll just tired of scopely using words that end up not meaning the same thing. Like how "hostile" doesn't always mean the same thing.
If officer abilities that are for "hostiles" don't work on outpost retaliation, then why do outpost retaliation count toward events for "killing hostiles"?

Maybe they first made the Obliterator ship ability to kill any ship with a chance of 80% if not a Sphere, then later in development the boss said "screw them - make it even harder" and they changed it last minute to 100% against any other ship and 80% against Sphere - but forgot to apply the change to the skill description.

This would perfectly match what we experience since years and how Scopely works on a daily base.

Stefan's Save Bug List - April 2026 End of Arc Edition

As this is the second edition of the Savage Bug List, I've introduced a summary of changes, in addition to the main list.

The goal remains to be constructive, by providing an independent and brutally honest assessment. This is going to be a difficult read for some. If everything was fine, I wouldn't have started producing these. But even within that context, it's been a rough month. I've placed my list updates at the end of arcs in an attempt to avoid the initial damage control period following major releases. The 14th April "exocomp buffs without redocking" maintenance has made that tricky. So I've had to make a judgement call around what issues are likely to persist beyond the initial damage control period and focus on those. In this case, that's the change in how officers (and other buffs) work against outposts.

The other major concern this month is; of the four major bug fix attempts I was able to identify, only two worked. The other two made the problem they were addressing worse, much worse. Those two were released on the 31st March and 7th April and I believe the community was rather vocal about at least one of those. Despite this, neither of those has been reversed. Which suggests the quality management process has failed in at least two places, in two different cases, in my first month of monitoring changes.

As usual, I'd be happy for someone from Scopely to reach out about this and to answer any questions they may have. So far it's been radio silence.

Instead of performance improving through the last many updates it’s actually getting so bad that the game is unplayable. S132 and where I normally look forward to incursion this time is definitely looking like as bad as last one.
It’s not hard to acknowledge these issues and provide a timeline to address but for months there has been nothing but you are quick to add more and more battlepass some of which are ridiculously priced.
Not a shock you try run an event to entice people back to game but your lacklustre approach to listening to the community and addressing woeful performance tells me this event was a failure and more people leaving.

FYI: ONE of the shield issues I've been experiencing lately. I can't believe there's more than one. Incursions are in 5 days and there's more than 1 issue with shielding. Before reading those poor excuses of a workarounds, when a raider is right beside my base, I can only shield by moving my base to another system. There are no ships attacking my base and it's not a device issue because it happens on multiple devices. It also doesn't allow you to repair defense platforms.

This needs to be fixed ASAP or you might have to cancel Incursions...AGAIN. Is this a software issue or can players be manipulating their game or internet service to activity these error messages and glitches?

Hello. I wanted to buy 5 swarm prime particles in the tournament store. One time, I clicked on the 1100 button and then the store refreshed itself (the screen flickered as it so does), and it ended up selling me breen energy dampeners instead. I'm sure I did not missclick as the swarm particle is the last item on the line on my screen, and the breen dampeners are several items left of that. An intermediate confirmation dialog would be useful in that case. Fortunately I had enough credits to cover the extra 350 expense. But still that should not happen.

Nice update. It's damn near impossible to collect from the faction stores. Combination of extreme lag, and when the lag settles you find that the store doesn't exist for that faction anymore until you back out of it and try again a few times.

You can erase the Game through the Game Client and then install it.

Your User Files will be still there since those have to be manually erased, at least it was that way for me the last time i screwed up with the Community Mod 🤣

advancing a building level, trying to use the Instant/Smart speedup button, alliance member helps in the background, by the time i click the confirmation of latinum spend the speedups exceed the remaining build time and cannot be applied - all this is fine, if a little annoying, however the screen i go back to now lacks the options to Instant/Smart speedup so i get to take a step back and start the process over, frustrating is the game's motto 🙂
