I don't know if this is the right place to report issues with stfc.space. However, when you hover over the Explore dropdown on a desktop browser, the vertical scrollbar disappears. That shifts the position of the page to the right a little bit. If you hover over the "E" in the right area, what will happen is the dropdown list appears, which causes the scrollbar to appear, which causes the page to shift a bit to the right, which causes your mouse to no longer hover over EXPLORE, which collapses the menu, which causes the vertical scrollbar to appear, which causes the page to shift to the left, which causes the mouse to hover over the EXPLORE button, ad nauseam. It causes an interesting blurry/strobe effect.

Chests from new hostiles (V'Ger 8472 ships) are fatu krey chests. When opened, they are V'Ger loot (so correct loot, incorrect name of chest). Hostiles are repurposed fatu krey, I am sure, and they are exhibiting the same problems that the fatu krey did. The species 8472 V'Ger modified ships are freezing, randomly hard to target (much more so than other hostiles), and the systems lag a good bit. In addition, it appears you have bottlenecked things by having only one 39 system. I just want to make sure that you all actually want this game to be fun?

There is a running SMS where players have to compete 2 SMS events per day for 8 days in total to get 1600 points to be able to complete the last step of this SMS.Without the missing 100 points for todays competed event all players would miss the last reward.

Kirshara is bugged. The ship either tries to move on to the next hostile before the current fight is over, which breaks the hostile chain. This happened for me in solo waves as well as daily hostile grinds.

Also and unrelated to Kirshara: Members of my alliance shared they can't do waves right now because they target a hostile, their ship flies to where the hostile was, not where they are going, and then stops. They can't get their ships to attack the hostiles. And then the hostiles blow up the base/core/thingy.

Also-also: I received pink squares again (the bug that has outlasted every known Scopely employee. If Scopely assigns employee numbers, Pink Squares would be employee #1). So, I tried to clear Localization and on the restart the game stopped loading at this point and for 6 minutes did not progress:

Scopely, the game is full of bugs, this is terrible. When I switch between the base and the system, the game freezes, in an hour, I reset the game 15 times. I shut it down and restarted it. As usual outpost bug still exists. As soon as any of your ships dies in an outpost, the remaining hostiles in that stage are skipped. If this happens in stage 1, then battle skips to stage 2 hostiles immediately.
If happens during stage 2 then outpost ends immediately.

This maybe due to a outpost check error where it doesn't check remaining ships after each hostile only at end of each stage

Stuck at 76% is a Google play/apple play or scopely id authentication issue, check your connection weak signal or issue with authentication by those providers. Could be Aws issue or authentication /login server issue, if on mod check for updates

But yeah they changed scopely id login methods so to fix an issue for minority they've created an issue for masses

we even had a reported "ROE breach" because of this bug and only 3 days later i experienced it by myself. only prevented attacking someone else on my refreshed node by accident because my shield was up.

bug: you try to refresh your empty node and game sends your ship to a totally different node in this system instead.

lvl46-50 v'ger 8472 hostiles are a huge jump in strength not just compared to lvl 45, but they're even a big jump in strength compared to lvl53.
it is a bug when a lvl46 is stronger by a large margin than a lvl53 of the exact same hostile type.
this needs to be fixed, and people in the affected ops range should be compensated for the impossible event difficulty as a result of this mistake with hostile strength.

this is not a complaint about the strength of these hostiles in general, it's specifically the lvl46-50 v'ger 8472 being as strong as the lvl56-60 v'ger 8472.

Can someone please explain the math behind the 50% research speed boost after an incursion in. Simple math says a 50% boost in speed should reduce the time by third. I did the math on one research item and it was 7d 19hr before the win and 7d 9hr after the win and corresponding exocomp. That's only a 5% drop in time to complete research. Seems like the 50% speed boost is decidely less than advertised.

the +50% research speed boost is caculated on the base value, not the overall value.
you already got plently permament research speed boost from station enhacement, research and syndicate.

so in the end the +50% speed boost is added to the already high percentage boost and this makes it more like 2-3% overall.

I have had a few battles with some that increase in damage each round while most do not.

First round is regular damage, second doubles, third round is triple, fourth quadruple, etc etc...

The hostile appears the same on scan, the battle report shows no activated ability, nothing seems different, no rational reason for this effect to happen only sometimes.

Support said I crossed over and so my territory defense doesn’t count. I told them I did not cross over, it was a territory defense on my system, there were a few hundred alliance ships there, and that the player that attacked me was from the other server. So maybe that’s the bug. Getting blown up by a ship that had crossed over cause the points to not count. I think my folks that didn’t get points were for ships destroyed by the other server.

They know about all the faults. I post about them all the time. NOTHING is done about them except false promises and outright LIES that they have been fixed.

Scopely then has the cheek to say they are prioritising stability etc and release a completely new faction and additions points of failure. Note I didn't say POSSIBLE points of failure as we all know it wont work when it is released.

Skulls are a visual thing. Any newly spawned hostile has a skull, and all the older ones do not. There do appear to be two different types, but skulls only appear on the ones that have spawned since u started looking at the screen. Skulls dont appear to make them harder
