2 things: first, the VGER event is called VGER Orion. Unfortunately, only the Hurak had time to come to work today. I can't explain why the kills are counted but the damage isn't, but I'm no expert.
Second, I do the daily tasks in the same area every day (same ship, same crew, technology, etc.). Flight time 5:35 min. Since yesterday's patch, 7:48 min. Was the connecting train delayed, or did I reduce the warp speed through research? Irony off.

The issue with vger hostiles came about I believe Sunday when you updated the scoring issue with Orion daily task.
2 you've coded it with a 7 day cycle Monday to Sunday.
With day 1 Monday being hurak.
You coded it without a skip to next button for support, but gave them a reset to day 1 button.
You broke it on Sunday manually spawning the Orion with a patch.
It reset to day 1 Monday hurak.
Tuesday was still broke so reset to day 1 was clicked by liveops. So again hurak till engineer changed to gorn.

Day 3 it's still broke should be Orion's, but it didn't change,Clive ops clicked reset.
Back to day 1 Monday hurak.

If you programmed it with skip to next for liveops all they'd need to do is skip to desired hostile.

But no you gave them a reset button.

From one side I can understand that, but... being OPS69, Scopely intentionally made those VGER nearly impossible to complete (unless you are pretty much maxed on everything) at this level, plus all the lags and delayed scoring for days. Game is taking too much time to complete all stuff again even without issues. And don't make me even start on time needed for transogen mining and 6h your ships being locked in Outpost. You would need to spent more than 12h every day to complete all things, not counting reputation grinding .

So 200 bells consumed would be 8 starts x 25= 200 points +8 kills x100=1000 points.
SMS is 1000vpoints for top milestone... Are you not killing the hostile?

Yes, I rushed ops and did what was possible to level up my Franklin. But I go by the name of the game Star Trek FLEET Command. Using 4 ships unrelated to the Franklin permits me to hit ships at 123 points each to finish far earlier than 1 ship would tend to.

I reached L29 in less than 3 months with all research and buildings maxed.

scopely maintenance has been nothing but a joke for the last few months. Eyewash to maintain the appearance that something is being done and errors are being corrected. It rather gives the impression that the operator is aiming for a high cost reduction at the expense of game balance, switching off servers by reducing the number of players in order to only keep the economically viable servers running.

What would be a great support for all players if a marketplace were finally introduced. !!!! On which players could offer each other or across servers everything possible (Latinum, VT/CT items, blueprints of ships, refined resources/materials of any quality.
Players could help themselves with this and it would lead to more fun playing again. Scopely could have helped players long ago by providing more loot from enemies/armadas, reducing ship levels, and costs of upgrading ships/buildings.
Instead, an archive was introduced, which is bugged every day so that surplus office parts are not converted into transporter samples.

The number of players is dwindling if you look around on the servers. The server mergers have happened in increasingly shorter periods of time over the last 2 years. At the Incursion Event it is very noticeable that very big players have stopped with Ops +61... the main reasons are A. the daily time factor, B. a lack of success, as event requirements are simply too high and time-consuming. This can now only be compensated for with a lot of money. If you look at the VGER enemies, they are programmed for requirements (FC Lorca, FC Khan max./Mirror Prime research and many other factors) that only very few have, mostly PayToWin players or players who have a lot of time.

I have FC Lorca MAXED, spent no money, just kept running the Vindicator Refinery Daily until I had the credits to max him. I have not yet completed Mirror Prime Research, but it can be achieved by investing in Prime Mirror Particles in the Outpost Refinery under Plunder - Prime Particles. I have no problem taking out V'ger advesaries, so I advise researching the Crew You Use, on the USS Northcut I use Annorax Catpain, Seska & Sudar on bridge. On the Corvus I use Nero Captain, Vemet & Kumak on bridge. I'm not running OPS 60 nor 70, I am currently at OPS 53.

I have no problems with the VGER. However, I see and hear from many players, especially with a higher OPS level +68-69-70, that the requirements are much higher than for an OPS 53 player. If a +70 player sometimes needs 2-3 flights for a VGER enemy, everything suggests that much higher requirements are simply required. Unless you have the USS Vengeance and everything is dead easy.

This has been a very long-standing issue, but I have now progressed far enough in solo waves that I can see it is determinative of success or failure and thus needs to be fixed:

Sometimes after giving a command to one ship and then clicking on a different ship in the bottom bar to give that different ship a command, the game will show the expanding circle graphic indicating that it received the click but then simply not process the click at all, leaving the first ship selected, and because of how slowly ship info panels load during waves there's no way to know that the first ship is being given the second ship's command, thus messing up your defense and causing you to fail. Clicks on the bottom bar to select ships should be given priority over all other interface transitions, they should just always work, no exceptions.

The compensation package was good. However. It was missing one thing. IT SHOULD OF INCLUDED: CHALLENGE TRACK CREDITS. We lost those as we could not complete them for that day, even though it may of been fixed progressively during the day. Not everyone was aware of this or had time to complete this. These also should be added to compensation to those high enough to be affected by what happened. I am aware this is a bug channel. However, this compensation chest, relates to a bug from yesterday. SO, I traded in my 4k or whatever broken rods for a desealing rod last time treasury was open. I DIDNT USE IT THOUGH. I didnt like the loot. So I waited. Now my treasury is full, I went to go use it, and it says I have none, and my broken rods are gone, only shows the ones I earned since last treasury opened. After all of the buggy crap from updates and maintenance recently, and lag, I figured I would restart to see. Nope, still gone.

when you use the ablity on a player it shows the same screen as if you'd scan them, but with an added tiny button somewhere that links to the system in which their base is. You have to manually look into that system to find their base
