Method 4:Use an uninstaller program and registry cleaner and do a fresh install.

Once again, a few seconds of patching and nothing works anymore. Lucky are those who don't automatically check for updates. When will this broken prime.exe work again? No information about this in the news. No information from support. How about rolling back the patch? From reinstalling to deactivating supposedly disruptive programmes. All useless. Yesterday morning, the game was working, and by the afternoon, it had completely crashed. Annoying is the mildest term for this series of failures. Since you haven't said anything, I've now created a temporary solution with NOX Emulator, but it won't be acceptable for long. The clock is ticking, and if this broken patch isn't quickly reversed, I'll once again consider quitting the game altogether.
One more thing: I don't know the internal processes, but since this is a permanent state of affairs with the non-functioning patches/updates, shouldn't there be some personnel consequences?

It appears directly after i come back from the "manage" section of a ship and disappear, if i click on a ship with the missing hull health bar and mining icon.

anyone else getting Borg Polygon armadas that are hosed up? When when you try to start it you get an error about an Invalid Armada or Assault Target. We have a some systems full of Polygons like this. When you scan it, it says it is in battle. This is on Server 99. Brucam and Jamohr Systems. i got tired of looking for more broken systems.

the Community mod, if you have it installed, is a file called version.dll in the game folder where prime.exe is.

Renaming the file shouldn't be a thing, it wouldn't exist with a fresh install. That version.dll file is the "mod" and an issue for some players. Your issue is probably the unityplayer.dll, and if a fresh install doesn't help or a repair, then you can try getting an older version of it.

Keyboard input is broken with physical keyboards on android, you select the text input box and it immediately goes out of focus so you can't enter any text.
On samsung phones if you had it set to be full screen and go around the camera cutout, that is now broken so you're stuck with 2 black bars on both sides of the game
Go hire some competent devs because whatever you're doing IS NOT WORKING!

Posting this here for visibility in case anyone else encounters the same issue. Have raised an email with support in the meantime.

Wave defences of all kinds are locked out for me since the new patch. Any time I send a ship to a WD, start one myself, or start a solo WD, the second my ship joins it freezes up the game causing a restart. After restart it fixes the freeze but upon interacting with the WD in any way or trying to view in the system it freezes again. Complete lock out of doing waves (especially crippling given makala crucible has a WD objective).

I used bulk upgrade to level my war room from 24 to 26. At level 26 the war room claimed that I needed to upgrade my war room to level 26 to improve the rewards. Reported the bug. They know and it's not fixed for months. Just updating the situation since I upgraded the war room to level 27 and it now recognizes my war room has reached level 26. Will update again when I reach level 31 and see if the issue has resolved itself or if at level 31 it thinks my war room is level 30 because the bulk upgrade levels will never be counted.

2nd bug report today is about Krenim Formadas. One of the nodes we started decided that it would leave this reality. Only noticed with 2 minutes remaining that it had bugged out so started the node again. All 3 nodes were defeated at the same time. Everyone received partial rewards.

Also I had to spend 2 directives to start that same bugged out node to only receive partial rewards

Good morning everyone....for those of you not using the Community Mod, I may have a fix for you

I had a PC at home with the prepatch game files....I copied that folder, went to a PC that I had updated that gives off the UnityPlayer.dll error message and won't start, deleted all the patched files in the game folder, pasted the prepatch files in the game folder, started the game from the prime.exe application in the game folder and it worked right away

If you need the prepatch game files, I can put them on dropbox or google drive or something

I noticed an issue with the Mak'ala's Crucible event. Some of the counters stopped updating after a certain point. For example, I was doing Borg Solo armadas and the counter stopped incrementing after I did 16 solos, I have re-installed the game (Issue is occurring on PC and IOS). See screen shot.

One word of caution, for those updating to the new com mode, run the game without mods first so the game stabilizes first

I know that I'm not alone with this issue, yet I never see it in the "known issues" section. And it seems to be getting worse, not better. It's happening at least five times per day now.

When I go into my refinery and "claim" items, the game often locks on the blank background and never shows me the items I refined. If I have chat open, chat stays "live" and I can type there, but if I close the chat window, too, the whole screen is blank with that blurry picture of whatever was in the background, forcing me to restart the game. I have even tried waiting up to an hour to see if it resolves on its own, but it does not. This is something more than a slow loading screen or lag issue. It seems like the connection to the server to adjust the quantity of these items in my account causes some kind of drop or failure.

The loading screen freezes sometimes with other items, like Event Store, claiming loot chests or gifts, etc, but those are much more rare. It's the refinery that does it the most.

I have cleared localization, run the repair routines, and tried uninstalling the game and reloading a fresh copy. Nothing fixes this.

I have tried many times to report it to Scopely, but can't get through the chatbot menu to actually report it. Suggestions/help, please?

Interesting. They are always there, but he's never there. I wonder if it has to do with the efficiency research. The officer listings in recruit and other areas are never accurate since efficiency, half the time it shows you have all of the shards or no shards and random amounts needed and many freshly unlocked officers show as still being locked before you make any pulls in the event store.. I wonder since I unlocked him with near maxed efficiency, the ship officer selection is reading the officer as not unlocked.... gross. You would think with 'QA testing' that would have been caught.

Had the game open for all of 5 minutes before this happened again. This is beyond ridiculous at this point. Stop adding new stuff for a month or so to fix this mess and the existing bugs. It's only getting worse when new stuff with new bugs are brought in, old stuff that used to work gets broken and never fixed.

Remember how you could see your ship had joined an armada, without having to go babysit it and look in the system afterwards to trigger the drydock to show it correctly? One simple example how things get broken and are left the way they are. Like the broken nodes in Voyager mining systems.

This is possibly why so many people had trouble getting the first KHAN quest (when it was on) complete - the one involving defeating the champion. Not only was the amount of reputation ridiculous, after it was an addon to the original Augments. However, to someone not looking for bugs or things wrong, or catching something that isn't right. Just by perusing the store, then catching it. It may go unnoticed for some time. Whilst other reputations have their additional questlines open at different levels, that is all of them. The newer Augment questlines only open, and all open at one level (Superior - shown by my attempt at a blue circle). Whilst this may be great once you get there, this doesn't fit in with how the rest of how reputation works in this game. Then for that matter in other games that have a similar reputation pattern as well. The rest of the shop in the Augment store seems to reflect the pattern of reputation except the questlines as well, it is why (and you cannot tell me 'it is a feature of the game' - when it obviously isn't) it passed through QA or someone checking that it was alright. Before made into play. Well, since it has been found, and now is a real obvious mistake that needs to be dealt with. It should be one you priortise to fix. LLAP

Game getting stuck after every first attempt to open Makala Event Calendar. So after every new login on a PC or mobile device it didnt open and game stucks in loading screen. Second try is functioning. For me its after every change of device for one time after each change.

I got my Mk3 Revenant to L75, scrapped it and used the blueprints to build what should have been a Mk4.

Only I was surprised to see the refinery still saying I had to reach Mk4 to improve chest rewards.

Bug report: ARCHIVES - when it is time for me to claim my daily prizes from the archive, here are the issues I am having.

1. I have 4 mastered archives, but the UI will show 8 or 4 ready to be collected.
2. When I click/go into archives, I see 4 claim buttons ready, although previously that was random as well, I think you fixed that particular issue.
3. So, if at that point I back out of the archives and click/press the claim all button, it is random how much the UI tells me is collected. I have provided a sample of what that looks like above.
4. No matter how much the UI shows me was collected (2 of 4 claims in my sample screenshot above), it then shows that I have claimed all of them.

TLDR: it is random how much the UI tells me I have actually claimed. Then the UI either gaslights me or this is just a visual anomaly.

It would be a pain and very time consuming to verify each time if I actually got everything, especially since most, if not all, in the archives is a chance claim, not a guarantee. Plus, that would take the purpose of the claim all button, which is saving time, away. As it is, I have to go in, claim each of the archives, to ensure that I get everything. I have cleared my cache, cleared localization. Neither has helped.

I know that you all have this general concept as a known issue. You all have had this as a known issue for an extremely long time and honestly, it is incredibly horrible to have this long-standing of an issue. There are others that are even longer. Do you think it is possible that this is why some people are leaving the game? Can you imagine being a new player to a game and this is what you would have to deal with and people are telling you it has been like this forever?

Then you didn't unlock the MK4 skin and your ship will say it's MK3 if you unlocked MK4 skin but are not using it as in applied, but if skin is unlocked it is mk4

And you will have MK4 bonus tokens, by way if you were already MK4 then you cannot get any more bonus packs from scrapping.. so just max it and move on loop done

Why is it when the game glitches, and doesn't load an image, does it prevent an officer from being seen in the ship management queue. We all know and love the retrieving we get at indiscriminate times. I have seen an issue trying to load SNW D'Chok on to one of my ships. His headshot has disappeared a couple times. There is an event for completing Wave Defenses.

The lag and lockups are sooooo bad in these that it will be impossible to complete this event. I have started 4 Solo wave defenses and should have 20 waves completed in this event.. As you can see, I have 4 waves completed because the game locks up in the first wave..

Also, trying to grind in Mirror Romulus, useless.. I get nothing but lockups and stuck in battle 24 hostiles in the 30 minute time window because of such bad lag...

this bug is over a year old can we plz get a fix for it? likely cause is de-sync between client and server due to high impulse speeds on ships- the client registers the ship as having reached the rift and tries to pass through, but the server still shows the ship as in transit to the rift

likely all they would have to do to fix it is code in a 0.5s-1s delay after the client registers the ship as having reached the rift before trying to pass thru it- giving the server time to catch up

I'm not laying the blame on UNITY 6 per say. There are certain requirements in multi-platform developments. And it has to do with poor coding on Scopely's part and the stricter parameters Unity 6. If your Chrome device is having similar issues listed in this chat on Win 7/8/10/11 devices... then the evidence is proof. Also with low end devices tends to have an on MOBO GPU rather than a separate GPU plugged into the MOBO.

2. Close the Launcher;
3. Delete the content of the following folders;

4. Open the Launcher and Install the game;

With unity 6 specific code has to be used to allow bluestacks capability, later fixed in 6.1 and 6.2 but 6.0 needs manual input, but ofc scopely just run basic android app.
Then there's issue of texture rendering on android 14 and 15.

What about circled part the currency thoseissions give unlock and upgrade both FC khan and wok Joachim, so you understand them being sourced at champion but think missions that source currency on them should be open sooner, yet those missions require currency that can only be gotten from killing hostiles... Ie. At low ops 20 currency each lowest mission 1 time requires 6000, that's 600 hostiles and pays out very little...
Yet you can earn affinity for joachim from credit common redeem at basic lvl.. but can't unlock him till later.

So you are suggesting skipping grind yet need currency to do mission which requires the grind...

You simply don't understand the loop.

Or you just expecting FC khan and wok Joachim (epic) to be soureable at lower rep.

By way to even unlock either would take you at least. 60m rep anyway. In amount of hostiles killed, but to get Joachim maxed would require an additional grind, plus currency those missions give unlock high lvl nodes in research tree which in itself requires pioneers crest to even do the lower lvls and prereqs...

The way this latest hostage blog post by the GM reads, and based on what's going on in the game, only those with the $ to have the latest phones or computers will be able to play this game. The lag has gotten infinitely worse after this new Unity upgrade. I have a 2 yr old phone, as well as a 1 yr old phone, and the game lags terribly on both. Perhaps they shouldn't even make it downloadable unless you have a brand new phone. Looks like I'll be phasing out the game soon, as they will be phasing it out for me due to the unplayability of it.

I just did a factory reset on a device that is Unity 6 compliant. And I have the exact same issues with lag and lockups as my previous device..

Their code writing is garbage, their QC is garbage, their management team is garbage, their support is garbage.

Rev gave this game 12 months if they don't fix their broken game in stability, content, and listening ability... I give it 3 months tops before their income drops so low the game just ends...

The Khan's Champion Level 1 (Cadet) mission went missing from my Augment Faction store. I think this may have happened because I completed the quest, but did not turn it in before going back the Augment Faction store where I purchased the mission again. Now the mission is missing, both from the Augment Faction store and from my Missions.

How do I get this mission to return? It is currently the only way I can earn Hijacked Insignia, because the level 2 missions and beyond are too difficult for me to complete at Ops 38.

Your devs broke the game, again, like with every single update, and the player is unable to log on for a week (getting errors upon logon).

He writes to your support, it takes well over a day to react, and puts on a measly 3 day shield only, like ir costs you anything to put a longer shield on???!!!

As a result, the player's base today is completely emptied. And he still can't log on, and no update from your support.

Note that this was a paying player. So you just lost yourself more money due to incompetent actions. Congratulations.

I would supply you with the player's name in a PM but the last time you sent me a friend request and then didn't react to a single private message with player information so PMing is useless, too.

Game-breaking bug on the PC client that just started this morning. I'm experiencing an uninterrupted stream of random keyboard input, even when the keyboard is disconnected.
No issues on mobile, no issues with any other programs, no issues yesterday.
Note that the mouse is still functioning normally. Also, if I disconnect my keyboard, I can see that...SOMETHING is still going on by observing the cursor in the AC textbox. But if I switch focus to a different program...it stops.
Seeing as this is still causing hotkeys to trigger, the game is unplayable (even if I didn't want to use chat).
Restarting the app did not fix it. Loading the game without the community mod did not fix it.
I completely uninstalled and reinstalled the game, to no effect. Please help? 🙏
