First time I've seen it, anyone seen a wave defense bug where a wave double-spawns?
I was trying to frantically kill things too hard to remember to screenshot it, but had wave 7 double-spawn just now. The ships just spawned twice and they were actually there.
I thought it was a visual bug at first then I realized that both sets of ships were all there, and then they hit the center, and that ended the WD quick 😅

that is how augment reputation works; lore-wise, the hostiles aren't being sent by the augments, but by the people the augments are territorizing in that space. to mine there, you can use one of the many methods of stopping the hostiles, ignore it by mining in a fast node system and rotating around faster than it catches you, or take advantage of this by parking ships there for xp (though be aware of the 2k/day hostile limit if you do so)

You've run out of Ram.
Quite simply they changed it so nothing is stored locally, so every hostile graphic/pic has to load in every single time and every system upon entry, client remembers nothing.

So ofc instead of 2gb to 3gb of images going to device storage is being loaded into Ram. Eventually you just run out game freezes and crashes to home screen or desktop.

Used to be stored in your hard drive or memory stick... To enable faster loading and reduce lag as didn't need to fetch images every single action. Only changes.

But ofc most phones limited to 3gb ram max... So crashes occur frequently.

On pc just takes longer for ram to fill up.
But once it happens boom welcome to your desktop.

Used to be game asked for access to hard drive or storage to store the graphics file. But seems they've done away with that and it's all fetched on demand.

Having an iPad with 8gb of ram and very little multitasking being done probably benefits me then. I do wonder if the move away from storage is for other technical reasons though, besides developer deficiencies, and/or reducing the need to produce client updates for many issues. Also might just be a sign of changing assumptions, like how we no longer use dial up and most people are assumed to be on 4G or reasonably fast internet

The white bar indicating hull health is going down more than it should after a battle on the cube. I can kill several hostiles after the bar has been depleted. Edit: this is specifically for PvE battles. I have not done any PvP with my cube yet.

I just upgraded my energy weapons thru the new borg research tab, my sally finally would finally kill thr lower level feds in sol in one volley, was great used it for 2 days, so nice not to hit ships a 2nd time, then I upgraded my kinetic damage thru the borg research tab and now the sally wont pop the low level ships in one volley, the ship should not be getting weaker when upgrading, this is quite annoying, please fix this, some scopely math is not correct here

On my server, I'm sometimes have trouble locating "standard" hostiles in systems where a large number of "revenge" hunters have spawned. It seems that there is a limit to the count of hostiles in each systems (e.g., 16 hostlies in the monaveen Texan systems). The revenge hostiles (sentries) eat into this limit of hostiles. Often there are enough revenge hostiles in systems, that normal hostiles are not spawning at all. Attacking normal hostiles is a required game mechanic in some systems (e.g. for monaveen field training). I'm being forced to attack other's revenge hostiles (another required game mechanic), to force normal hostiles to spawn, in order to finish my grind. This likely was not intentional.

FIX: Please change the hostile spawn algorithm's system hostile limit to NOT count revenge hostiles when deciding if a new hostile should be spawned

Pinch to zoom turns into one finger pan zoom and require a game exit and restart.

From what I understand, they are giving you the unlock by pushing it directly to your account. Not sure if that's using the "token" or some other method, but the effect is the same: no gift to claim, and it just unlocks.

Look, the problem is I already have an active support ticket and your support site isn't really optimized for multiple support tickets, in fact it's actually designed to strongly prevent them. So yes I was skipped by the deployed fix it looks like, in fact It must have been a server side fix because there wasn't a client side update, which speaks volumes for what the issue was, I'm guessing a complete token scramble on what people were receiving, basically we were buying a token that didn't connect to anything. So the server side fix would be to what validate additional token types?

I don't feel like that kind of mistake means I should spend what is currently over a week to get a response on a support ticket, the event will be long over. It doesn’t go all in to a lump sum. If there are shields to destroy, even 1 then the 17.7m will all go there and be ‘wasted’. It’s not as straightforward as you make it, and as such is correct.

You're welcome. If you somehow end up in windowed mode, you need to completely wipe the game and look for it's config files. If you just reinstall it without deleting the configs, the game boots up in windowed mode and freezes instantly without being able to switch to fullscreen

My issue with cooldowns is a little different. The display of all the status effects is not working. The icon doesn't gray out. The cooldown timer doesn't show. The status effect doesn't show on the ship. But it did actually happen, so if I try to sting or Titan boost or cloak again, I get an error that it's still on cooldown, and the daily tasks for boost or sting or cloak scored. I haven't seen a message from Scopely acknowledging this new bug.

You may have hit 2,000 hostiles since the limit reset (autogrinding counts). You won't be able to get loot/xp/rep from hostiles until that limit resets later today at 5am UTC, 1 hour after daily reset. Event scoring is unaffected.

Lots of Armadas are deceptive. Won't put the loot in the ship cargo, it goes straight to the starbase. I'm also unsure if Armadas are supposed to give Ship XP. Was getting ship XP fine from NPC ships but not Armadas.

armadas don't give ship xp that i recall, and are unaffected by the hostile kill cap

Most Armadas never put loot in cargo. Natural, FKR ones are an example that goes straight to your home loot where exchange goes into ship cargo. And anyway it is better to go straight to home base as then it can't be stolen by another player

There is a 2k daily hostile kill limit, after which you stop earning rep/lootboxes/cargo/xp. It resets at 5 utc, ie. one hour after daily reset.

I'd try the repair option in the launcher. If that fails, uninstall/reinstall the game.

they are. but if you did great chase 1 and 2, you dont have to worry about them, which you did. the calender information is vague i guess since its 3 seperate 24 hour sms's for the great chase 1, 2 and 3. BUT when you finish the first 2, they are gone, and only the 3rd remains for the remainder of the days. it provides the maxinum rewards

It ran 3 days, just like it did last time. First day was unlocking all 3, 2nd day was the next after the highest you completed.

Friendly reminder that server 96 still has no anomaly spawning in FSEP-505. it creates a progression wall for many who wanted to rely on the voyager to progress. I've had my voyager for several weeks and I haven't been able to exchange any rare anomaly samples. This is a huge road block for EVERYBODY that has recently unlocked voyager on server 96. Hi @earnest crest now it is two full month later and SUPRISE: these year(s) old unactive accounts are still in tc and still no clean up in our server 164 happend. this is so so so annoying and scopley doesnt adrress that issue as they dont really accept that there is an issue.
