Would be unusual to hit the daily limit with just one + your usual dailies unless you've done a lot of grinding in addition to that. Still, that's the most-likely cause of your issue.

Once you have a positive reputation with the Augments, Bounty Hunters are sent after you. If you're having issues farming data, due the old cancel trick. Target the hostile ship, recall, cancel the recall with 1 second left, wait for the border around the ship to disappear, enjoy your free time in the system.

After applying forbidden tech I could no longer mine with my envoy, the progress circle would loop indefinitely. Even after restarting the game, even my phone. Reassigning my officers finally solved the issue (eu 106 server). Maybe this will help others with the same issue if there are any.

Ok, so a possible solution... Remove the forbidden tech from the ship if you can before you lose internet connection. that is also an issue. Once I was finally able to remove the FT from the ship, I'm no longer being kicked out of the game and I can adjust my officers. Fully expect the refund of at least the rods needed to equip and de-equip the FT since that was wasted.

If you referring your crash to the FT bug then recall your ship and then swap ship, then you can change officer on that different ship and it does not crash. To fix the issue you can unequip the FT and equip it again. unfortunately you need 1500 rods to unequip it.

All of them, and more, are linked to Forbidden Techs. A good, free workaround is the following procedure:

• Reboot
• Manage a ship that does not have the FT slot unlocked
• Enter the FT section
• Click on the FT unlock button at the top, do not confirm the purchase.
• Close the popup.

That is it, and the game can be played normally after without disruption. Do not deviate, or linger when performing the steps.

Backup Workaround
If the above free workaround does not work, reset and try it again a few times because there is no cost in trying. If you still cannot manage that method, then these older workarounds should still work:

• Remove all ships with a Forbidden Tech from docks and into the hangar, or
• Remove the Forbidden Tech from the ships.

Here's an additional workaround for the crew assignment bug that has worked for me. Before attempting the change crews, simply go to the Forbidden Technology management screen (where you unlock and upgrade forbidden tech) and then back out. You should now be able to change your crews.

Works on Android at least, haven't tested other platforms.

My android game client keeps losing connection and reloads the game, about once every 2-3 minutes. This is after the new patch update. I cleared cached and also cleared cache and deleted data, neither seemed to resolve the issue. I don't have the same problem with the iOS game client, it doesn't lose connection (however the iOS client likes to crash and exit spontaneously, this has been happening for months now, not related to latest patch).

It looks like the timeout/disconnect happens when the game client tries to do transactions (spend exocomps, send ships out, start armadas, change crew etc). I left the game on without touching it, it did not timeout/disconnect.

that is a standard answer.. it resets the connection to the load balancer that is maintaing a token. you are forcing it to try and get a new connection and a new token to go to a different server. they need to look at the global load balancing and fix that.. likely underpaid for the license required for the amount of throughput they need.

On Mac: Open Finder.
Click Applications.
Scroll down to the Utilities folder and click it.
Open Terminal.

Windows: To Flush the DNS Cache:

Something's going on with the servers... I'm seeing issues with the mining timers too: one is stuck and doesn't decrease, while another one seems to be working fine. This was working fine earlier today

Clearly can not be more in it, because with such errors also nothing can be transferred correctly. Thus, the rewards are then for the cat ...! Wasn’t able to get into refine or faction store after repeated attempts. Got a billing error and things greyed out. Logged in to the game on an older device without this update, completed titan refine then logged back into new updated device and was able to get into the refine and faction stores again…

I lost a voyager token because I had a mining Forbidden tech pinned on and it fried after the first node. Wonder if I'll get that refunded.

The workarounds won't work for everyone. But if they do, you'll be able to play a bit easier. What issues do you have?

What I did was reset and logged out of the game, repair the game and then remove the tech from the ships, my game works now but I can't use the tech until they fix this bug.

I don't know what they are doing for affected players. You can try the workaround and create a CS ticket about it and see what they say.
