30 sec is the timer before you can swap him with another officer. Once in the chair he is active until you put him out

Yeah it's been on-off for the entire day - it was best this morning, now it's all crap. It will have long periods where everything works fairly ok, only to be replaced by hours on end where I can hardly do a thing, maybe if I'm lucky I can kill one or two reds ... if I can get into the system ... took several restarts to even get my ship to a system.

I too have tried to clear cache on apps on the phone and localization cache in-game. And I've of course installed the update from yesterday. Dunno if I should try to clear data on the App on my phone?

There was a bug where the game didn't show that you needed to repair your broken guns. It was significant and, in part, caused the cancellation of incursions.

The game shows you the value inclusive of bonuses (most, depends on the bonus), so you need to work out what base really is first. You can do this by either using a working cargo officer and a little math (say put on 40% Stonn and then divide the additional cargo given by 0.4 to estimate base cargo), or you can look it up on STFC.space - for a T6 Pilum your base cargo will be either 109000 (no cargo upgrade) or 117000 (cargo upgraded). This means expected increase in cargo from 30% La'an is either 32700 or 35100, your actual usable increase is 35100 (241020 - 205920) and so if you have cargo module upgraded will be correct and the amount stated beyond this in the stats is a bug.

Something has definitely changed on solo armadas. Failed 2 rare bajoran 51’s and I normally kill then without any buffs or exocomps. Same crews above and below deck. And RNG shouldn’t mean the Armadas has 20% hull left and all my ships are dead vs there normally dead and my maxed Enti is likely dead and my 26m Newt and 17m Kelvin have 40-60% hull left between them.

So I have just discovered that stat exocomps do not work outside of station…
In station load up crew, 450% bonus for 2 stats, 405% for the third stat. Apply exo - 450% for all 3 stats. Then move ship out of station and third stat drops to 405% again.
So waste of time using stat exos for solo armadas.

There seems to be an issue with Mantis Impulse speed. I am running a Tier 7 Mantis, with Klaa as Captain (Tier 5), Kuron (Tier 4), and SNW Una (Tier 1) for my crew. I have maxed out Territory Research "Full Impulse" at 10 of 10, Starship Research "Mantis Impulse Speed" at 13 of 20 and Outlaw Research "G4 Impulse" at 7 of 10. Last week I was able to achieve 300 impulse and today, only 274 impulse. This change in speed happened right after the last patch. CORRECTION...Had FC locutus on instead of FC kirk. My mistake.

My Vidar is Tier 8, in the Borg Refinery I can only buy 6 solo armada credits for 10K charged nanoprobes. Others can buy 100 Credits for 28K Nanoprobes. Is that a bug maybe on MacOS?

Continuing this debugging in the hope that it will help Scopely figure out any potential bugs (or phone-related, or wifi, issues).

Short backstory was that I kept experiencing horrible, unplayable lag even after the update. Or ... it got better right after the update ... then degraded again into unplayable levels.

Tried the usual: clear cache, clear in-game localization, etc.

After running mostly on wifi someone suggested I switch to mobile data.

As you can also see above it immediately helped.

However, it was just for a while. Then one error occurred, then another, in increasing frequency. Until the game became unplayable again.

Then ... and here's the kicker ... I switched back to wifi ... and lo and behold: the game stabilized and has so far run without issue (since yesterday evening).

So the pattern I'm seeing is that the switching between internet access types seems to be the actual thing that improves the lag issues.

While probably not technically correct it felt like a certain gateway to the internet got "tired" after a while, and only switching makes it become fresh again.

Just a few facts for Scopely: Android user, Samsung Galaxy S20 FE (secondary phone is a Samsung A7), wifi is TP-link mesh network, mobile data up to and including 5G.

It's been there for at least 6 months now. Can we get some traction on fixing it? It's very annoying.

Nothing really. It's an IMS event, and requires the contribution of your entire server to finish. If your server isn't participating enough, then they won't be able to finish the event for everyone that plays there.

We can not accept a component in the starbase as built. Therefore the starbase does not advance and we as an alliance were unable to participate in the last arcs events with starbase related events. Furthermore we can not start starbase research that requires a starbase or components of a starbase to be built. Customer service keeps closing our tickets and telling us “they are working on it”. This impacts everyone in our alliance. We’re a top alliance on server 41 and could not compete in any starbase related events for all the previous arcs. This is not a “here’s a workaround bug” can we get some answers from the dev guys? Or you want us to all keep logging tickets so you can send us the standard bs scopely reply ? @viscid cloud @umbral nexus <@&509691205798592532> can they do something in the back end to “accept” the silly build that is completed so that we can maybe move on and try to build something else? The lines between systems decide the warp range. The paths the game wants you to take out of Wolf are all warp 40. If you moved 1 or 2 systems over that warp requirement changes

You've probably hit the daily 2k hostile kill limit, after which you stop earning cargo/lootboxes/rep from killing them. It resets at 5utc if you want to wait.

Now that I've recalled my ship it turns out that the value showed in the ship icon is the correct one, that got added to my inventory. The ghost crystal didn't got added.

You cannot keep a rod between months. Its use it or lose it. You can try to nicely ask support to give the broken rods back but there no guarantee
