Two additions that would be AMAZING to the event store are the USS Terror ship skin and the Plasma Blasts projectile. Aside from the initial runs, neither of those items have been available or sourced any other way.

As someone who has unlocked every other projectile, the completionist in me is dying a bit that I'm 30 shards from the Plasma Blasts projectile. 🤣

Oh, it gets works. You have the finish the TNG recuit event. I just made 40 a week ago and I have to spend 450k points. 30 rare armadas or 9 epics or 4,500 3*/4* uncommon. 3000 3*/4* rares. I can't refine any 4* uncommon or rares but I have to have them....scopley screwed me over.

So I responded to this a couple times so I'm going to copy and paste what I wrote previously just so we're all on the same page.

I've been collecting feedback on everything the community would like to see in the event store and forwarding it along. We know that everyone has different feelings on what's valuable or not, and we tried to include a variety of items you'd like to obtain.

We're always open to the potential of adding more items to the store, but our concern is the longer we wait to add items or the later we adjust it, we can potentially upset community members that would have spent their event currency on something we added later than what they originally spent it on

So after a bit of time, we are concerned to make further adjustments but I am collecting everything so that if we can't get them in this event store we can talk about adding them to future event stores

The answer to one of todays officer questions required that you “use a speed up”…how about you specify what type of speed up to use rather than making people use repair speed ups and other types until the challenge is completed. Specifics verbiage matters unfortunately if there are more than one way to answer a question.

I know it’s a little off topic for the feedback you’re wanting regarding the event store but since you also asked for feedback from the continent creators about things we’d like to see in game here’s one that I have yet to see mentioned:

Can we please have a currency exchange?

Here’s a few examples of what I mean;

My Franklin is maxed, but I have leftover frequency modulator‘s which I can’t use and don’t need. With an exchange I could exchange them for the ones I need for a Franklin-A.

We have had now years worth of monthly events each with their own unique currencies. With different pricing for different items in the event stores that those currencies were used for we don’t always use every bit of currency we have. So with an exchange we could use up small quantities of those old currencies which we have sitting in our inventory and put them to good use to buy things we need, such as; blue prints, refit skins, or ship parts.

Here’s a few examples from my inventory.

I think making the spend event SLB for TNG a cross server event is a poor idea. It's already hard enough to go against the folks on my own server, let alone the folks on another. I save up for events like this, and I generally have a good idea of where I will place in the events. I know what kind of last minute spends I can expect from the usual suspects I go up against for spend events like this. Making it cross server makes it more difficult and less interesting for me to compete in. I realize the rewards are larger but that, for me, is not enough of a reason to compete. @wanton copper

It is tough because you are in the spot between G3 and G4 - my main point is that the event doesn’t just have to be completed from G4 materials

How many players have 4500 g3 laying around when you get maybe 50 a day from max refines (if you have primes) and another 10-20 if you complete every daily event you can. But at 40, half those daily events lost 3*. So you are heavily relying in refinery. It is not as hard for players that have been 40+ for months but next to impossible for players that are 40 for less than a month or two.

I actually have the mats because u scrapped 3 26 faction ships for the jelly event. So now it us get her or a jelly. Without the scrapped ships, it is impossible with spending $500+

Otherwise, there is no way to have had that many just turning 40 last month. These events are an undo burden on ftp players and light spenders. It is not acceptable.

At 39, you don't get 4* mats. And at 40, you can't refine 4* uncommon/rare. You do get some in dailies but you are also prevented. You can't complete ship upgrades because the only way to get uncommon ship parts is scrapping. You can't refine them. And at 40, unless you have a jelly, there is nothing to upgrade them on. The only daily event that pays out 4* is the officer recuit. So the only way to get 4* uncommon is to scrap or battlepass.

There is no way for someone who was not 40 before last months start, which has not scrapped a couple ships, to have the mats to finish even 1 event.

No, the whole point of her being unlocked is for FTP to get an epic officer. It was intended for ftp players. Hard is not the same as mathematically impossible unless you had saved months ahead. And how far in advance was level 40 players warned?

Again, how many level 40 players have 4500 3* laying around? That is doing no station upgrades, no research, no ship upgrades for at least 2.5 months.

A battlepass gives about 1100 3* uncomons/rares. You get about 25 a day doing max refines. Even if you got 30 a day, and you manages to get 2k for the month, that is not even half. Even with events and everything else, say that is another 1k. Ok, we are up to 3k.

But guess what, last month was a spend event too. So now you are back to half. And again that is also doing no ship upgrades, no research, no station upgrades.

No acceptable at all.

The Material spend is no different to previous iterations for Officers like the Borg Miners that were released, so you should have had some inclination that spend maybe a thing for this month - either through spend SMS or an auction. This route although painful for some is still better than having EPIC officers acquired though only auctions.

It is most likely impossible in 2 months. It requires the high number of 4* mat events, half of which it is impossible for level 40's to get unless they have been 40 for a couple months. The mats are not there in the game and the ones that are, are not in large enough quantities. Nor can a level 40 have the ships to spend it on. And which buildings/research at 40 take 4* uncommon/rare? There are not sufficient.

You don’t need to. If you’re ops 39 you need significantly less. You can save up while ops 39, and gather enough stuff to rush to a point where you can start spending the 4* stuff battlepass and events give you. It took a lot of planning but definitely wasn’t impossible as I’ve done it without missing a beat.

Mats are a bottleneck and scopely needs to make money so there are walls. You can either keep running into them or from afar start looking if there’s ways over / around

Umm...the only way to get 4* before 40 is scrapping. At 40, the only feasible way is the battlepass. This is my first battlepass as 40. No, your planning is not realistic. It takes months to build and scrap multiple 26 ships and do all your other research/buildings/ships.

Scopley should not be putting ftp events out that that require a player to save up 2+ months to finish...especially when they run these events EVERY MONTH.

We know that every arc will have some form of material/directive spend event, and usually more than one iteration. Unless you're spending loads of money, you can't do them all and be competitive. You have to pick and choose which are the most worthwhile.

And yeah, scrapping the 2* ships is definitely a great way to stock up mats. Although, I ran out of phindra prints and 2* surveyor parts. lol.

But you can scrap the Turas on repeat using the low level augments for leveling. Get plenty of BPs and 2* explorer parts.

Yes, I have a couple thousand 3* mats, over a month and a half saved. You don't get much 3* mats in a month and you only get between 1k and 1100 in a battlepass. And last battlepass, how many spend events were their? About as much as the battlepass gave, so that is a wash.

If a player has to skip the spend event mats in the game to save up the mats to finish the spend events in another month, especially when they have not spent any mats in a couple weeks already, then the game is broken and that is not a ftp path for the officers like scopley says. If scopley wants to say these officers are for paying customers then they need to say it. THAT IS THE POINT. They can not say it is a ftp path when it is mathematically impossible to earn the officers without having to save up several months in advance.

Because 4* mats are earned at a much higher volume at 40. The spend requirements are for using 4* mats but you can not earn 4* mats are a higher volume until later into the 40's. The spend requirements for 3* mats is the equvilant of saving all the mats earned for about 3 months on a ftp path. You CANNOT MATHMATICALLY save your 3 months of materials every month for the mat spend events.

The cost of upgrading and buildings is not the problem. It is the mathematically impossible spend vs earn ability of low level 40 players. You can mot warn enough 4* and 3* in a month to finish just 1 mat spend event much less 2 of them at 40. And the high cost of spending of 4* mats, you don't have enough items to spend 4* on. I Do not have a jelly fish so I can't earn jellyfish mats nor have one to spend it on and there are very few buildings to spend 4* mats on at 40, much less even less ways to earn it. And the jellyfish is the only ship at 40 you can have to spend 4* mats on.

Really as was said before there’s places available to get that sort of info, what you would need to complete events at the next ops level, if your planning to go to 40, then know what your getting into, and plan for what you need.

And I went into 40, didn’t have a problem with doing events, cos I had a jelly I could upgrade for points, and also had loads of 3* researches and ship upgrades I could still do, that gave me the scorings for those events

And a reason why I say to people that say they are gonna max their research before moving up, that that’s a bad idea. Sure do things that don’t require the mats, but save any researches that require mats for those events

Events require mats AND places to spend those mats. If you get stuck because "you don't have a jelly" then you've messed up a key calculation in your planning. So I'd suggest to slow it down on trying to do everything because you're already stretched too thinly. And while it's too late to plan for this S tier officer, position yourself for the next one because there will be a next one, and it'll require a ton of mats.

When officer recruit events was only a SLB players can choose participate or not. It was a true competition. Stocking the materials was intentional. Now we should spend a big amount of materials at least 1 (or 2) times in month to finish the SMS. Someone can say "you still have a choice - participate or not". But we dont. These mats spend events usually a part of the meta events - if we dont finish sms, we failed in meta.

And its not only about mats. Every building, research, ship needs other rss, needs commons and need a time. Even with good planning (i dont spend any mats outside the events) its a very difficult events. Armada directives should give more points. We're collecting epic directives a months, longer than collecting of mats, but only a 50k points for whole epic armada? Its a joke?

Then fail the meta, by doing so you better position your next attempt by saving those unspent mats.

There is a difference in the cost of upgrades Vs the ability of a player to actually earn what is required to spend on the battlepass events.

Scopley gave absolutely no way to accomplish what they are asking via in game. You can not complete all the spend events from 39 to 40 without having excess saved up months beforehand. To complete the level 40 spend event, you have to have at least 2.5 months of mats saved up and that is you finishing every daily and event and mission and not spending any at all. Which means you can't finish the spend events in that the last 2 months of battlepasses. It is mathematically impossible to finish, a supposedly, ftp path in the game.

I get that. But they have marketed the event as a ftp. They have said there is a ftp path for Tendi. For many level 40's, that is not the case unless they have a jelly and have had it for a couple months, or have scrapped multiple ships. Without the scrap or jelly, it is mathematically impossible to earn and spend the mats needed on a month to month basis.

A ftp path doesn't require the elite. Without the elite, how many mats do you get? And if you did the last spend events, that eats up over half. At level 39, you do not get over 4500 total 3* mats. Even at level 40, you don't.

At 40, I get 1192 3* rare AND uncommons in the ftp path.
With the elite battlepass, it is a total of 2257. So an additional 1065. So how are you getting over 4500?

I am not getting less 3* at 40 than I was 39. And out that 2257, I had to spend pver 450 on each spend event. That means best case, I could have saved 292 along the free path and 1357. We don't get that many other free options and the refinery is not that great. Most players average about 5 per batch. And to finish several if the other dailies, you have to spend like the ship upgrade. And to get rhe station upgrade..well, you have to spend even more or upgrade more station modules than you have. It is mathematically impossible to finish all the daily events and earn every all the 3* mats.

I am 39 blueprints from a jelly. I have saved up for months to fo a jelly event just to get 30. So now it is either do the jelly or do the spend events. And withiut a jelly, there is no ships possible to upgrade for the spend events with 4* and how many 4* buildings are there to upgrade at 40?

They have made it impossible for 40's to finish without months of saving beforehand and a iss jellyfish. That is not a ftp path, that is not reasonable or acceptable.

If scopley is requiring a player to have an issue jellyfish to compelte the sms spend events then they need better sourcing so players can get an issue jellyfish before they move to 40. Requiring a ship to finish, the supposedly ftp path, of the battlepass officer is not reasonable or acceptable. The only required items for 40 are already set in the game. If the ship is required, they could have made it that.

It is not reasonable when a player CANNOT MATHMATICALLY EARN AND SPEND THE MATERIALS for an event even if they have saved every material from the previous month. That is not reasonable or acceptable.

Jelly isn't required, mine's still t2 and I have never felt a need to upgrade it further in order to finish an SMS. My planning specifically excluded jelly development because I was going to Valdore.

And that saving of the mats is also not along the ftp path, that is along the spend path by buying the elite battlepass. You only get 1192 rare and uncommon 3* mats in the battlepass. When you need 4500 for level 40, it is impossible to earn/save in 2 months much less 1 month unless you skipped all the previous spend events and did NOT UPGRADES that took any 3* mats at all. Which means no game progression and no upgrading to ops 40.

I have been doing that. Every week. I am still 39 shy. So it is either go another 3 or 4 months, spend all I getbin the event store and cut that down some, or skip it all together. That is not a reasonable ot acceptable game mechanics. When it relys on luck and you may go months with no jelly bp's that is not a reasonable or acceptable path. And when you literally have half a dozen players who control the entire TC, unless you bow down to them and join their alliances, you can't get it through TC. When 200+ mil ships enter a TC, they slaughter everyone else under 55 with ease.

But you are getting a lot of additional Mats from the jelly event. Without them, how is a level 40 player supposed to earn and spend 9000 mats a month?

I didn't build my Jelly until 41, when my iso income ballooned and I was able to use my Jelly service. And the requirement isn't 9k a month, it's 9k for this month. There are heavy and light months, and you can force an additional light month if there's a bad officer in order to ease your heavy months.

By trying to do everything, and failing at it, you've placed yourself in a terrible position for a heavy month with an S tier officer. Now you're stuck because of failing to plan and prep for this eventuality. I'd suggest you take the time to repair your stocks and make the game easier at the right times.

It's almost like you're saying: hoard everything and wait for something you really want. Is that any way to play a game every day? Players want to be progressing over time, not sticking just in case, surely?

Imo spend events shouldn't be SMS. Keep them SLB for the whales to get a few epic officers. If its an occasional SMS it isn't too bad but making it part of some completionist series is insane. You miss 1 cause you don't have to resources and you not only miss that event but also a complete Epic officer.

There will always be S tier officers, and there will always be months with heavy mat outlays. And sometimes the two meet. Either you prepare for that eventuality or you get left behind. It used to be just for the leaderboards. You can hoard and then spend once you see an officer you like. But it becomes more than that you need to hoard even more often and spend strictly on events and never outside. This blocks progress a lot since you never know when the next event is gonna land so you might wait months for it. Like happened with the ultra recruit event last months. It hadn't been seen for half a year so do you expect people to keep hoarding those that long? Getting officers is a key peart of progress.

No, I don't expect people to hoard that long, that stifles your development. There is a reasonable stockpile to build, and there is excessive hoarding that harms your growth. I wouldn't even play in that kind of event and that's my choice. I accept that I will lose that event, and events like it because I'm unwilling to make the kind of sacrifice.

If you choose to have no stockpile, then you've also chosen to skip the rewards in heavy months.

I already started mine lol. The game has gotten to be ridiculous. Setting aside the idiotic exponential power increases that make you fall farther and farther behind the “whales” who@literally spend 10’s of thousands $$ annually so they can play a video game the game mechanics have become relatively pointless you simply don’t get enough materials to participate fully in the game without spending crap loads of money. You will never get enough resources every month even with the battle pass to spend enough to do two to three material spending events a month even at the most basic sms level. Same with their idiotic levels on their away team events. And countless other events. If the event requires you to use accumulated resources. You simply can’t fully participate in every event unless you are spending money. And even the hostile grinding events have just become obnoxious. The time demands to fully participate in the game are beyond ludicrous. It’s practically a full time job if you are fully participating in everything. Let alone where you might have the time to grind reputation or raid. The game@mechanics are just stupid at this point. Ever increasing time requirements for rewards that as a percentage of what your needs are for the game are less and less meaningfully rewarding. Every arc there is some new material to be farmed. Some new ship to be built. Some new set of officers you won’t actually get. And even if they do add them to the recruitment pool you are just spreading your shards over a larger pool of officers making it harder to actually activate or level them. Frankly the game has gotten to be a waste of time and effort. For now I’ve just dropped play and resigned myself to never being meaningfully powerful. Eventually I’ll quit altogether because scoeply just designs lousy games

They’re designed to get people to spend more and that’s it. What used to provide 10-15 researches or upgrades per pack now gets me half of 1. I really despise when the event store comes out like it is designed this month. It feels like January bp. A full month of stagnation because scopely just completely turned off one of the main means of getting 4* resources. Ticketed events are complete and utter garbage this month from a cost efficiency perspective. Trolls, crystal gas ore is always bad in the event store and you should buy other stuff with event store currency.
The point is keep ticketed events as they normally are every month providing a good flow or resources needed especially in the 4* economy.

Hey @wanton copper, cross server hunting leaderboard events are a neat idea. Cross server spending leaderboard events are ridiculous. When you lock items that are otherwise inaccessible (Picard for today's blinding example) behind a leaderboard, and then you make players compete for the bottom scraps against not only the spenders on their own server but the spenders on 2 servers, all you end up with is the majority of the player base angry. The Officer recruit SLB tiers would have been reasonable today for one server population but not both.

Hey @wanton copper I think the recruit events between level 20 and 23 needs to be reviewed in terms of values. Looks like on 78 and 79 combined only about 40 people could complete the event. I don't know how many participated (I know at least 230 as that was my placing when I started). That means we have at least a 17% completion rate. Possibly less.

When below 24 you cannot spend Armada directives so it cuts down on options for gaining points. Also as this is when you begin to gain Tier 3 materials most players won't have a stock of materials for a mission.

Probably worth reviewing for the future TOS recruit event. Depending on the success rate you want on events. I don't know your targets.

I also don't know the ratio of those successes who did it with purchases vs those who did it as f2p. Looking at some of those numbers in the bracket there's definitely a few who bought somethings to move those numbers up

I actually don’t agree that the game design is good. There is almost no strategic aspect to the game out side of the territories and the territory mechanics are stupid which is why outside of events no one really ever challenges territories. Raiding is stupid. They are either offline in which case you can raid them or they aren’t in which case you can’t. It’s not actaully a battle of skill techniques etc. it’s just “we’re you an Idiot who went to bed and forgot to shield.” And the rogue issue in the game is genuinely problematic. Almost every server has some sociopathic butter who gets their rocks ruining the gaming experience for everyone else. But scopely never put into place any kind of game mechanic that allows you to deal with them. So yeah I actually don’t agree that the game design is a good one. It’s basically just boring mining and grinding with occasional and random attacks by rogues wasting your time and resources which are already scarce enough.

That’s no garabtee you have the common materials and latinum you need to even be able to launch the builds/upgrades. We do like to add items in based on community feedback, however we don't want to add more after the event store has been up for a while. The current ALB has that if you're just willing to accept that whales will take all the top slots. Ignore their movements and battle it out for that 4-6th place. The difference in rewards from there vs top3 aren't all that great and there aren't enough whales to take all 15 slots so you get a "meaningful" competition between those non-whale alliances right there inside an "unfair" ALB.

The daily 6h/12h event needs adjustment in their rewards. Its a joke to get 70k parsteel when its needed 3-4 buildings to complete and each building cost 1B+ to build. On our server there is almost 1 player quitting each day now and all is lvl 40+ due to progress being either way too slow or need to pay. No fun in playing a game that needs months and months of collecting to do a single upgrade or research if your f2p

I appreciate thinking outside the box for events, but the Klingon Translation one has some issues. First, 95% of players are just gonna wait for someone else to post the answers and then run through the list, so it's pretty poor for engagement. Second, it's impossible to distinguish in-game between an upper case i and a lower case L, making it a bit of a crap shoot to transcribe. Third, online Klingon translators just seem to suck overall.

So while I appreciate that Harrison is actually in the Hunter Killer SMS, the fact that there's a Disco PVP event and he's not fully available shows that you're out of touch with the requirements of a Disco PVP event. Harrison is REQUIRED for Disco PVP, and asking players to die 60 times to people that have paid for Harrison is complete incompetence. It's not like this is a new complaint either.

@wanton copper punishing people for loosing in disco fights is a no go. The way the levels are, certain levels will ALWAYS loose as there will be some 40+ player taking out all those beneath him because he can. These beta disco events are always terrible for this reason but adding the negative points is just a really bad move!

Additionally, since most try to avoid the disco pvp for that reason, if we all have to do 8 origin armadas in 24 hours, those armadas should be spawning like the Borg ones, bang and regenerated.

I agree with all Disco vs Disco. Also smaller alliances are at a extreme disadvantage fighting in another alliance territory. Disco vs Disco pvp should be held in neutral territory. Not in another alliance territory.

Also for those who have weaker Disco ships, I agree it's unreasonable to have them losing every match 40x just to get May completion ist event. The amt of repair speedups will be high. All this event benefits are the powerful players and alliances. The weaker players ALWAYS pay the price in these scenarios.

Of course Scopely doesn't care, but they need FTP players to survive, so they can be used as cannon fodder for the whales.

Not sure about that, previously you could at least collect a sizable chunk of shards of the officer just by completing some of the events, and complete the unlock by just placing in a couple of Slbs.

Now you need to complete every event. It's as unforgiving as the battlepass overflow. God forbid you might want or need a day off, or lack the necessary resources to finish an event.

Add to that, if you happen to have missed a battlepass milestone so far, you won't be able to unlock her either.

It's a horrible system that demands that players not only take part in everything, but complete everything, or get nothing.

I'll be interested to know the percentage of people who actually get do get the complete unlock from running events, (not that scopley will tell us) I bet it'll be very low.

I like how the arc was done. I hope the next arc does like the same thing. Only issue I have is most the events didn’t seem to deal with the part of the arc they said to be for and most were more focused on the stupid rank events that the wallet whales always dominate in since they always have to buy their way to the top. Ranked events are unfair to the free to play players and casual spenders . As a predominantly free to play player it’s unfair to be forced to compete in these stupid ranked events with all the freaken whales in the game.. I do hope that you’ll utilize the Tribble’s event currency like you did the salvage parts one . As well as the fact you brought back events to get the refit shards even if it’s just the projectile shards. Though points earned needs to be upgraded this 1 point per a kill crap sucks makes people have to spend all day doing one thing instead of being able to do other things they are trying to do or want to do. Nowhere did it tell me what the rewards were in game. I went through the choose screen and then afterwards on the mission screen it still shows a question mark for the rewards. Maybe a bug. That is why I had to go to STFC database. I never received any information showing what the rewards were for each choice. And this happens on most missions where there is a choice that changes the rewards.

I just finished the Doomsday events. Took about 1 hour.

But, I agree with the feedback above. Folks not in an alliance that can launch a few dozen rares to get everyone across the finish line are going to struggle.

Hell not an alliance with loads of 40+ players going to be able to finish it without a major struggle. With how hard the fissure event is the rewards really freaken suck too. Hell most alliances are going to be hitting one 6x before destroying it. I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again ain’t nobody wants to spend all their time and resources on one damn event.

If you don't have a group of players able to start 6 person armadas for the rares, you are basically screwed for the event. Most of the people having no issues with the event have groups with at least a few 40+ players to drag them up.

but i dont think thatloosing armadas is the wanted way from scopley to finish their events

Yeah I know. It’s fairly simple if you have G3 epic and the brackets are ok for higher ops but lower ops seem to be a bit shafted as their milestones are pretty high for their ops.

Not to me it didn’t.. I have 134 directives including ones leftover from the original TOS arc. I ran 2 uncommons this morning, so I had 136 to begin with. Not sure where you got 200 directives.

The SMS today handed out 50. The AMS handed out another 50. The Plunders of war SMS yesterday handed out another 50. And the free gift yesterday handed out another 50. 200 total

Losing points (minus 3 for losing the battle) for participating in the event is bad design. You can literally 0 out your points for even trying to place in the event.

Yeah, we burned through a lot of directives on epics/rares to complete earlier this afternoon.. I'm hoping there's a make-up chest (maybe some more TOS recruit tokens and some 3d chess pieces?) for those of us who completed prior to the change?

There's never a perfect fix for an in progress event. If the scoring seems really off to you, wait a bit and check here. If there's overwhelmingly negative feedback here and in #🏆-event-chat , then it might get a change/fix within 6 hours.

Not everyone's play windows are the same, some can't wait 6 hours, others can -- I'd just love to see better auditing of the event tiers **before **events go live to avoid this. it seems like every week there are multiple events where point expectations are supremely out of sync with reality. The idea of the event was to have more Commanders try and take on Rare armadas. We felt that the reward for taking these on over uncommon was better and so we had the point system in place to incentivize that. We found that some alliances without stronger players to help were having an unideal experience so we adjusted based off those findings.

Any feedback on how to improve that for the future is welcome!

Encourage, but don't make it the only option, especially in a case like this where an Ops 30-33 group doesn't have much hope against the rares.

Yeah but also smaller alliances would be SOL; I appreciate the free directives given out the days prior, but it really felt like too little; especially if all those big players ran their rares/epics early on, they have no incentive (or directives!) to run more later in the day for the rest of the people to try (and fail) at running them.

Even with the change in scoring, as a lvl 43 on sever 58, I need 40k points to complete the SMS. Only uncommon directives were given for a SMS, 50 were given. If I used all 50 of my uncommon directives from the SMS. That's 2,500 points. I would get 20k points from the ones I run.

Now that leaves me with needing 17,500 points. Or the need to join 44 additional uncommons. This assumes that I only hit lvl 39s.

The total time waiting on all 94 armadas at 5 min each is close to 8 hours of active screen time. Basically forcing us to play an sms for 4 hours each day to get the new officer is insane. And this is after the change doubling points for the SMS.
