To be honest, I like the reduced amount of events. It reduces screen time ☺️
But the fewer events should be payed out better. I like the idea of Dabo Table and that I can choose, which rewards I would like to have. But there is not enough in. I mean, one event gives 600 Gravimetric Scanners. I cam trade them for 42 G3 ress. That is the same amount as in previous months….😒 and I skipped the ticket events in the last months…

1. There is no future in which I give you a dime for a miner or a miner part. Seriously, mining shouldn't even BE in a Star Trek game.
2. This heart event is TERRIBLE. We can't tell how many points we get for any given research or building, so all this event is doing is making people angry.
3. Angry people are less likely to spend money.

And it appears that last month, the armada events came one right after the other…..this month, it’s domination style events but without officer xp or ship xp included. Feesha needs regular latinum added to the buff. Event has too few missions. Dabo is great concept, but too few resources. Dabo is ruined by Quarks test requiring all rewards be spent to complete it. Any spending event is a poor concept, and is largely viewed as a cash grab. The prime buying event is point blank pay to win, if you want to add a bonus do it in the store only. An event should be an activity that is either completion or competition that has nothing to do with purchases. Any purchases that complete an activity should be disabled for the duration. If you want to push purchases, focus on making the grind grueling, so it's just a fast pass.

Oh and your PR team should be suggesting ways to make up the disappointment. One way is to tweak the event. Another idea is an official apology reward. Make your fans feel heard and do something for them.

From those numbers, it seems he is consistent with Robo-Tribbles behavior on high speed mining like when you put him on a Dvor. The ships inherent abilities outweigh any bonus to be noticeable. But quarks 80% ought to have better results than that at those speeds I would think

The bracketing in the Quark auction is completely unfair. First, they are way too wide. A 31 and a 35 have completely different materials coming in, and completely different costs on buildings or research. Also, a 34 has access to epic ships while a 31 does not!! There were WAY too many players in each bracket making it extremely difficult to get even a reasonable number of shards. If PTP players can’t get to the top, they won’t pay. If the brackets are smaller, PTP players will be more likely to push because there is a chance to finish at the top. I thought we had fixed these bracket issues??

Scopely needs to dramatically change the payouts for all refineries, hostile chest drops, and daily chests. Very few of us care about opening the 10 min/4 hr/24 hr chests. The only real reason is to help complete the daily missions. Hostile drops are laughable. And the refinery pulls are very low. Example of the Latnium refinery, an average 2 chest pull nets me less than 1000 Dvor parts. Since I need over 100k parts to max my Dvor currently, it’ll be at least 4 months before I can scrap it and begin building the Feesha. But then my one strong Dvor will be gone and I won’t be able to mine regular latnium very well.

Thank you very much Scopely for buffing the Feesha’s stats. At least now it’s merely an adequate miner instead of a total failure. But the one key stat you forgot to buff was it’s mining rate for regular Latinum. It should at least match the original D’vor’s. While many of us might have had one maxed D’vor, I think very few had more than one maxed. Our second D’vor, if we even have one is usually several tiers below max. So mining regular Lat has become more of a chore than it used to be and should be. You made the Franklin A great at both old and new Swarm hostiles, the Feesha should be the same for both old and new Lat. Thx 🖖

Nice with the the new d‘vor changes. Now make the new dry dock cheaper, or free, or a part of the event pass. This think is way to much of an improvement. Speaking as a 34 player, its more than just brackets. Even if I had put the big armor upgrade on and tiered up guns on the other ship putting almost a million more points on the SLB, I still would not have come in high enough to earn the shards needed for an unlock, and I would be completely out of mats. The scarcity of shards awarded across the various levels was pretty dismal. The way they set up the shards for him this month means that you would have needed a #3 or higher finish to unlock without paying some sort of cash.

Even with the $20 pass version you still would have had to place very high up because of how few shards you got.

Yup. I've been playing the game for a bit over a year, and I'm currently at ops 38. I got my dvor relatively quickly, and I've been refining double chests every day. My dvor is still T7, and I only have 1. I'm still a loooooooong way away from being able to scrap it for the Feesha, and even when I do I'll be left without a ship that's going to mine the regular stuff decently...... 😦

At least with the Franklin -> Franklin A, it was a direct replacement of the ship. This one isn't.....

Scoring seems incredibly low on Quark's Cargo. At my level, I need to hunt literally hundreds of hostiles and lose 15-18k of faction rep on the faction I'm grinding just to get two spins of the dabo wheel and open up part 2. The in-game cost and the time commitment involved are far too high. Giving this piece of the arc a miss.

The Quark Test Stength SMS event is ridiculous! Scopely was so “proud” to proclaim there were multiple ways to get enough Quark sharad to get the officer for this month’s BattlePass. That is BS!

For today’s event, you have to run/participate in about 40-60 rare or epic armadas (depending upon mixture). 😠 You only get 1.5k points for a rare armada win but need 85k to complete the event. It is such a slow processs to accumulate rare and epic Armada directives that there is no way to even run so many rare and epix armadas. If each armada take 15 min, that is like 10 hours. Also, how many whales even have that many directives, Scopely? Did you not look at the event before publishing?

I also think it's a bad solution with the permanent armada events. Even if you have policies, getting armadas is almost impossible. Virtually all players on a server are looking for Armadas. Some of these already appear in the system with a pennant. Not only does it take a lot of armadas to complete the events, it's a very slow and frankly pretty boring wait for hours to get an armada. So either there has to be a lot more system with armadas, I would say at least twice as many, or they just have to come much faster.

it would also be a sensible change if you didn't always have to wait 15 minutes. It should be possible for the leader to start the armada earlier, e.g. when everyone is present. Ships stand blocked for 15 minutes. and that during an event. where you have to do a lot of armadas.

If you had zero rates or epics in your inventory at the start of the event, the only way to complete is to spend £90 on the store.

Not even “greed”; it is moronic! With the Epic pack, you can only run 3 epic armadas, and with the Victory pack, you can only run 6 rare armadas. Plus, as someone above calculated, if you need to do 53 rare armadas, it would take 14+ hours running them continuously as each takes 15 min and praying you don’t need repair time…. 🙄😱😵‍💫

It's been several months ago since you started to REQUIRE players to complete RARE/EPIC armadas.

The issue is, where do we get FREE-TO-PLAY armada tokens for RARE/EPIC armadas?
Dailies? Even if dailies were to provide rare/epic armada tokens. With the frequency you bring this event is MEANINGLESS

If you are NOT going to provide free rare/epic armada tokens, simply STOP these events. JUST STOP.

No there’s a few places to get them.
COW chests, planned you can get 2 of the Armada directives, that’s 400 rare directives,
Also have the Gold Trophies during Cow also have a chance to get more rare directives.
Doing the uncommon chests, over a month theof chests will get approx 200 rare directives.
So that’s 600 already. Just from that.

And don’t use them until there’s an event like we just had for quark, those 600 would’ve gotten you enough points to do that.

All they had to do was add in the feesha mechanic, and keep the old mechanic as it is. Instead they had to mess with a large chunk of the playerbase by changing the old mechanic in such a way that most will find it difficult to complete the solo milestones, let alone compete effectively in the slb

I used to put up 225-250m points for Lat Rush mining lat with dvors for 16 hours. If I put in the same amount of effort mining clat with Feeshas, I'll put up 70m points. And I can't go back to the old way, because I scrapped my main dvor, and they dropped lat points down to almost nothing.

Also, the brackets are awful. I'm a lvl 43 competing up to lvl 49. All a player in their mid-to-upper 40s has to do to beat me is throw a miner on a g5 node, or premine for a night on a big g4 node I can't even make it to. That beats 16 hours of effort.

Increasing the events that you have to spend to come close to completing, number of armarda events that need huge number of rare and epics to get close to finishing. Lat Rush screwed up again the under 35’s can’t even mine with a feesha even if they had one ready. Or the new concentrated Latinum needs to be increased to be equal to 3G materials 15 points instead of 10.

As for getting dvar parts I’ve had no problems with it or lat. I actually like the event and greatly benefited from this arc. Daibo games helped me raise my ship which has helped me get completely out of romulain negative rep hole to almost locking it since the arc began. Gone from -2mil rom rep to being consort halfway to associate. All thinks to daibo games giving resources and materials i needed to upgrade my ship so I can raise it up to lvl35 giving me ability to take out higher ships that give 888 to 1k plus rom reps. So quit the whining, yeah some of the arc not so great but others great..

Yeah. Last week I had to get 3m points, which I normally did by mining 3* rss at 10 points each. Now I getv13 points each, but have to get 24m points. So I have to mine 1.8m 3* to finish.

Why didn’t they just take the average mining speed of the feesha compared to regular dvor and make the feesha score points relative. Why change everything else. I mine clat about 5-7 times slower than regular lat. so make the clat score 5x or maybe more compared to the old dvor scoring. No need to rebuild the entire event. As it is no is still 10x worse than pre-feesha introduction.

2 hours into the event and I’m 25 percent complete. Garbage changes

26,000,000 points needed, 50 pts times 118,000/hr equals 5,900,000pt/hr. My max protected cargo crew is 59k. That’s 9 trips needed at 10 mins per round trip. So an hour and half transit time. Add that to the 4.5 hours needed to mine. For a slap in the face of 6 hours. Compare that to the previous less than an hour. It’s a complete and utter joke that any one thinks this is even close to comparable to before. Keep making events like this and everyone will just walk away from the game completely.

Last week they dropped normal Dvor parts from the SLB… eliminating one of the few ways to grind yourself a decent amount of parts. This week they added it back into the top 3 on SLB again… but now only people with a Feesha will win those slots. So, now the people who NEED normal dvor parts can’t even compete for them. Maybe put them in the SMS?

For points reference. The spread between 1st and 2nd is not an abnormal spread for him.

Scopely, you did some good things in this arc. At the start, I had some hopes that, even though we had more mining added to the game, that it wouldn't be as bad as it looked like it was going to be. Unfortunately, it ended up being worse.....

The new officers look interesting and useful. They aren't game-breaking, and they won't replace the best crews out there for anything other than mining C-latinum, so it's really not a big deal that I wasn't able to source any of the 3 of them. The dabo wheel was an interesting concept, and I hope that returns. It was nice to be able to pick and choose which rewards we wanted. Unfortunately, over the course of the entire month, it feels like we actually got less overall than we would have if the events had the old style rewards.The Feesha at release and mining monday event changes were awful at first. You should be ashamed of yourselves. Anyone that plays this game or any playtesting should have given that away. It really, really looks like you guys don't play or playtest this game at all.

This entire arc stinks of pay-to-play. I'm currently ops 38, and I'm a loooooong way from a T9 dvor to scrap for a Feesha, at which point I'll have to start a 2nd dvor because, unlike the Franklin-A completely replacing the OG Franklin, this upgraded Dvor doesn't replace the need for the old one. This is such an awful design.

This entire arc gets a solid F overall. It's bad.

When I first started playing, I made a mistake when reading the event details of one of the events in the arc running at the time, and I screwed up and did not complete the event. I missed out on the overflow event. Since then I have been careful to complete every event properly to be able to complete the overflow each time. Until this month. This month I haven't been as interested in the game, and while I did complete the battlepass, I missed out on the overflow. And I don't really care at this point. If it was much worse, I'd probably have quit.

1. Do NOT buy anything until you are SURE you can get what you want. (In this case, I was able to get neither the Feesha nor Quark.)
2. Small print equals big risk. There was fine print on the path to getting Quark, I should have read it but didn't and thus, wasn't able to get him.

Scopely, if your goal was to make your players more wary of anything you seem to be offering them you were successful.
Previously, I just assumed that the battlepass was something I should get - but not any longer.
Perhaps I should be thanking you for saving me money in this time of government irresponsibility and rampant inflation... so, thanks, I guess.

Remember when a new arc meant new missions straight away and many events you could do, now we just have a mining event only for those with a certain ship, which you have dependent on the outcome of the daily gamble on how many parts you will get.
My alliance is so dead quiet, normally first day of a new bp was busy now not so much. Just a mission that requires you to pay to complete ( or do 50 researches, come on my researches are all 10 days minimum ignoring if I even have the rest of the stuff to start them).

I'm one guy, my opinion doesn't matter much, but disqualifying the auto-attacking ships from counting towards event progression has me considering how much more I want to play this game. Why is scopely planning to punish lower level players for raiding? Y’all already give out 24hrs worth of peace shields a day. If someone doesn’t want to get raided, they should shield. It often takes significant resources to “punch up” in a raid and the treasury building is going to limit our rewards? Worse yet, it encourages punching down meaning that lower level players lose twice. The general features of the treasury sound okay - we all want more cargo size and increased mining. Not sure if Scopely reads this discord but I have to add my objections to the raiding tax. Why would a game designer penalize the lower level players for punching up? The game is already horribly unbalanced.
Even if there are “great” benefits to the treasury, the raid tax angers the player base. Very tone deaf… Scopely you need to work on making your players happy… happy players spend more. Angry disappointed players quit.

You lose 80% of the actual tax. If the actual tax is 1%, you lose 0.8%, the other 0.2% are returned to base.

So, lets take your 760 million and tax it by 1%
So, 7.6 is "Tax"
80% of that is 6.08

You'd lose out on 6.08 million but keep around 754 million

Can anyone explain to me why I would send a Fesha to a lat system for the PVP component? I mean wouldn’t it make more sense to have Fesha on Fesha PVP in a C-lat system rather than a regular lat system. This is the system for level 35. Super fun and rather pointless.

Why would I use my Fesha and put it on a regular lat node, which has horrible mining rates for that just to participate in PVP? This event has no PVP element because this wasn’t checked out before going live. C-Lat is in the 36 and beyond zones. It doesn’t exist in Vendor. Additionally I can’t get the 5 extra points for mining in a lucrative zone which I believe is a typo too bc during Monday C-Lat is worth 50.

Is there any way that you could have a player panel that you could just have them check these things out for various levels. If you’re creating these arcs more than 3 months out have the player panel just look over the events if no one else employed for the company will do this before it goes live. And yes sign me up for this panel or even talk to me about how you might set this up.

I just saw the announcement of the changes to Cosmic Cleanup and the Monday events:

• Great change on Cosmic Cleanup - it was needed!
• On Monday, I think the change is helpful for new players, but it doesn't address the bigger problem for both new and existing players: sourcing of D'Vor parts is severely gated, especially for players ops 36+ who can't (yet) get a Feesha. In my opinion, the Monday Latinum Rush leaderboard needs to give D'Vor parts to more than just the top 3 players in each bracket, and maybe a separate leaderboard or should exist for those 36+ without a Feesha that only awards D'Vor parts, so they can accelerate the progress toward the Feesha.

Yes you can no longer get event points for sitting in enemy territories and being attacked. You have to actively attack hostiles to score. Of course this only affects & penalizes non-botting players.....

XSLB seem a bit lacklust thus far. I don't see how it is more engaging if you double up the competition and also increase the rewards brackets. cross server should be either: Server vs. Server while the 2nd placed server receives an almost equal amount of resources (because of how different servers are structured) but the victorious server receives a cosmetic. Or a XALB but all the non-bracketed issues would be the same with Server vs. Server.

Also that you can't see names, alliances etc. on the statistic page makes things worse.

I agree these rare/epic armada events would be fine for slb and not sms. I only started one rare and one epic and I’ll finish the event since I’m in an alliance. again where are the rewards for now events then??? forget future things i cannot do or would have never got ...reward me for what I have done with what is needed to get to next levels

you get the generic missions for the mission event, then the extra missions are side missions and they can be your ops, or higher or even lower,

they did try at one point to Create missions for different brackets, but you can't always, and its alot of work to create multiples of the same mission for different brackets,
Like I said previously in the past they decided your not at the correct ops for the mission so you missed out on getting the mission,

but people wanted to not miss out just because they were too low, so they could save the mission until they were higher ops.

if you dont want the mission because its too high for you now, then dont collect it,

but you missing out on whatever rewards are in there.

and some of those even have shards for the officers,

@uneven relic saving mission keys is a waste when they never use same keys again so u never get missions and its just pointless to give unsable things periodborg mission keys from 2nd borg arc couple years ago unusable in the following borg arcs period and not able to trade them in either

EXACTLY my point, Get the missions even tho you can't do them yet, one day you will be able too, but here your complaining about having missions you can't do, well fine you choose, keep the mission keys so that you don't have a mission you cannot do, or save the mission.

better to have the mission then not have the mission and miss out on whatever is in there

they can't create ARC Missions for every level, so for arcs they create generic missions for all and then larger side missions also, thats alot of work

I asked why there are certain ships in another same level players event store that I do not have in mine? they said that we are given items that our individual levels are determined to have.

it was when I just became level 25 cant remember but I did not have a ship I should have had available and fellow alliance member same level did

But the developer of the game keep a log of resources introduced into game and try to extract amounts to keep economy balanced and they have those inaccessible items calculated into economy that creates a false number and a deficit in resources that they think we have so we never receive the intended rewards since in the books it has already been put into economy

@queen kindle can you ask developers if the rewards from those mission u see in my screenshot level 40 a couple of those ive had for a couple of arcs ...ask if theose are calculated into allowed rewards for game in present play...if so then how does that reward or help me advance now? because they wont give more resources than they determined to be accepted amount they want in economy. ...and if they think its in economy its not because actual use does not exist yet so they dont get a accurate number that can be used to reward us by see what i am saying?

and attention to details is not their strong suit

why would a pittance of a reward matter at all in a game that has mats/rss that are sold in the quantity that they are?

you could add all the arc mission rewards together, and probably not dent a standard g4 pack

the quantity for individual players is not at all good at levels I have been up to level 34...yea the player 40 plus rewards and packs are way way better ...thats not the point ...and still cant understand how you both dont understand what I am saying..lol crazy

I would love to fully understand scopelys game plans and specs to fully understand their reasoning...only way would be to talk to devs

in game support says different than game does so not much help lol

The missions are for lore, not the reward. Do them for that, or archive them for later. It won't make a difference to you at all

mission provide nice rewards sometimes so i do them for rewards i dont even read the commentary..dialog doesnt benefit me when it says choose this or that i view reward for them and make my decision based on need in game could care less what program wants or does i am only doing for best reward

once the arc is done you wont get the missions, which is what i said at the start, so like i said get them during the arc or you'll never get them again

You get missions that are too hard for you to complete now, to prompt you to level up your ops and ships to do them, and maybe buy packs to get there sooner...

And that's exactly the same across the levels from ops 5-50

When you unlocked augment space, unless you did it late / bought a northstar (and levelled it), there's a mission with a 150kish bounty hunter who feels impossible to beat when you first meet him with the talla or whatever at ops 18

There are missions you pick up around warp 30, that need access to Archer/Sol (warp 40)

Anyone know why I needed 50 more points to complete ROM’s multiple event event, and the armada one was worth 60, when I finished that, the ROM event says I only have 90 points? Did I do something wrong? Or am I a victim of scopy maths like the G4 rss sink that they keep lying to us about that actually makes stuff MORE expensive then it originally is?

In the master surveyor BP event, the point distributions don't make sense. G2 should be worth more than 2 pts, for instance

and parsteel should be worth less compared to the others than it is, since the fortunate has a 100% mining boost and you can get another 100% boost with the right officers

I think some one screwed up with the number of missions keys for roa pt2 . Fire sale which is last mission in the store is for purchase at 20bp yet in bp there is still a 40 bp roa pt2 mission key still available

I think you need to add another mission so people can spend this 40 mission keys bp
