Have a big issue with back to back armada event. You use a lot of directive in yesterday's event, only to find out there's a rare/epic armada event. if you use your rare and epics in the competition then you can't compete in today's Baul event.

Also smaller and medium sized alliance have the disadvantage of less available rare and epic armada directives to complete the event. Larger alliances have greater resources availability when it comes available directives. Need to include an uncommon option so everyone can compete in the event.

Scopely needs to be fair to all alliances big and small. They make these events way too hard for smaller alliances. Please level the playing field.

This event is unfairly slanted towards players level 38 and higher who can reach dark space. The event only gives points for Romulan ships up to level 44, but you can only get level 41 - 44 in dark space. The only Romulan ships above Level 40 in regular space are the level 49 regular transports and veteran heavy transports and they do not earn points in the event.

There are not active armadas anytime I check except in middle of the night when most of the people are (surprisingly) sleeping! it's always been 36+ as a open-ended bracket and the other requirement is not having a jelly. If your server has aged to a point where G4 players are the ones competing for the top spot, then you probably shouldn't try if you're still a g3 player.

I just want to say amalgram altercation event is the most fun our alliance has had in a long time. It puts everyone on an even playing field and our whole alliance has gotten involved killing ships. From the lowest level on up. Give this one a thumbs up.

The first Amalgram event they just said supply ships. Didn't mention where you could find them. At that time each "supply ship" was worth 100. I made a complaint about the poor communication and supplied them with a ss of the discovery/mycelium event that actually lists locations.
They said thanks.
So the solution was drop the supply ships destroyed to 50 points and not say anything.

So, I just hit level 33. Now I have an event to complete Prophetic missions. I don't have the tickets to DO the prophetic missions and don't see where I'm supposed to get them.
So I go to open a support ticket. From the PC game, you can't open a support ticket. It opens a browser instead, which (when I eventually find my way to the right place) asks me to log in, then won't accept my password, and the 'forgot password' link doesn't work.
So I try to open the ticket from my Android tablet instead. And somewhere along the way, because there is no actual obviously correct answer, I gave the wrong answer to the dumb tribblebot. And now I'm stuck in what is clearly a wrong support ticket category and there is no way to back out and start over.

Where are the crystal gas and ore this bp? The complete disregard for putting crystal gas and ore in this bp is unacceptable. Especially in the 4* economy. The refinery is worse than the rss generators at appreciably contributing to the crystal gas and ore requirements. I will not be able to do any 4* upgrades buildings or research until next bp. Not really a good way to keep me motivated to play this game.

Assignment Hunter SLB-have to say I was bummed you changed this from an away assignment slb to basically a trait xp slb. The scoring is so skewed I'm not sure why you even bother giving points for mission completions. That said, we probably only have ourselves to blame. At least the trait xp event didn't get treated like a domination event where officer and ship xp determine it all. I would think scopely might dial back the trait xp scoring some. But at least it was trait xp scoring and away teams only. Some in my bracket did get 1 mil points.

It is the 1500 ships/day limit.
You can exceed that limit in less than an hour....no amalgam, no lat, no Borg stuff, no chests, no ship xp, no officer xp, no modulators, no rewards...just points.
No point playing until 1 hour after player reset...then you get to play for an hour. Why bother playing the game!!!

I really have to say that I hate ranking events, at least in their current form. In my view, the duration is simply far too long and quite simply disadvantages the players who still have a normal, a private life! Events of this kind currently usually last 2 to 3 days. At the beginning, if I have the time, I can invest it, and I might be in first place, but at the end I end up somewhere in the top 10 or top 20, because I have to sleep and work at some point. Apparently, that doesn't apply to all players in this game.

I would therefore suggest shortening the event times to make it fairer in general. I don't mind if these events take place more often, maybe in the same period (2-3 days), but not like this.

220 event is not an armada event, it’s pay $$$ to have the whales upgrade station defenses event. Why are armadas even part of it? One level 47 platform is worth almost 6 million power multiplied by 10. So 60 million points from one whale upgrade vs 5k per player for defeating rare armada. What’s the point?

It is weird to have an event that requires cloaking but gives only a little cloaking tachyons as a reward. For people like me who don’t look at the event schedule I bearly had enough tachyons to do 3 cloaking attacks. The current 220 series ALB is rather disappointing. Point gains from xp and ship xp outweigh everything else. Scoring points with Armadas is just a drop in the bucket, so rather useless.

I liked the Amalgam hostile hunting ALB (not sure about the name) as it was totally dependent on player activity and gave alliances that did not consist of whales a chance to get 1st place.
If the 220 series ALB would just score points for Armadas - no power gain - it would give more alliances the chance to compete for 1st place and make it a lot more competitive. Right not the non-whale alliance don't even care about it.

Right now, you can steal Lat at 5 points per raw Lat - what if there was a 20 point swing? Maybe even more? Points calculation for events in last month made no sense. For example Vessel Ench was mixing Off. XP and Ship XP in 1:1 ratio. If you go to Power based events this is calculated in 1:8 ratio. @haughty dew Scruffy had it nailed down exactly why no one wanted to play pvp in that event, it's the same reason the vast majority of people refuse to pvp in ANY event that has it as an option but not a requirement. The pvp in this game is horribly broken and one sided. There's absolutely no point whatsoever in even attempting to pvp with opponents 20x your power, especially when it gets you absolutely nothing for losing but gets them 3x the points for winning.
Hostile grinding is one of the very few ways that an alliance can beat the whales in a leaderboard, but scopely horribly fouled even that up here.
The event was horribly designed, if it was hostile hunting only the whales still would have gone around killing the other team to prevent scoring while monpolizing all of the spawn points just like they did, and if it was pvp only no one at all would have participated. at best there would have been a handful of planned pvp battles between selected players or the whale team (there's one on every server) would have just been handed the win and everyone else would just walk away and not play.
It was a bad event, period.

what this game really needs is PVP events that are limited to your ops lv. - Event starts, players are awarded 1 or 2 or 3 tokens that allow access to a specific system based on there lv. (so lv 28 players get grouped together with maybe 29's as well and have a special trans-warp token to a system where they can go fight other ops28-29 players). This way its not a grind fest, you load up your best ship crew, activate those exo's and go looking for a fight. But with the token system you only get 2 or 3 tries to score points for your alliance

ALBs that score from hostile kills may as well be called idle grind events. Augment space is littered with ships trying to idle grind. Allowing chasers to score absolutely punishes players who worked for triple locks, since they are limited to aug space which has a crazy amount of people trying to idle cause they can only go there for it. Either remove the ability for chaser to score in such events or allow players to enable chasers after a lock, maybe have a skirmisher chaser in that situation that doesn't affect rep.

Overall, the Duality series was okay. I get it must've been difficult to create an entire storyline from 2 episodes in TNG. A few glaring errors or plot holes:

1. The Cha'dich is an honorable position for a Klingon. It is a second person to fight for another Klingon in a trial by combat in front of the High Council. Not a bunch of rogue warriors. Those are called naDHa'ghach.
2. Picard could not have claimed his role as the Arbiter of Succession because he had that role in another universe. Not this one.
3. While seeing Sela and Tomalok was great, they had nothing to do with the Birthright episodes.

Artistic license aside, entirely too many armada events. Not that I mind them, but there needs to be a better way for the F2P crowd to be able to complete them. Allowing uncommon armadas to be used would help fix that problem as most of us will balk at spending $100, I'd spend $20 to buy four packs of uncommon armadas to complete an event. (Something is better than nothing) The rewards for that Ba'el event were nowhere near enough to persuade me to spend $100 on the Galactic Armada pack.

The Event Store was great! Filled with officers, ships, mats, and other goodies. It was great to see Jaylah in there. I snagged a couple of dozen shards so hopefully next series I'll be able to get her.

You guys did well. I like the new refresh rate and the refinery menu is kickass. You should do that with the items menus as well. That and place the Syndicate with the other factions. The screen on mobile is starting to get a little crowded.

The armada events, agreed. I stated as such. However, if this is the route Scopely is taking we can complain about it all day long, but ultimately we must do one of three things:

1. Adapt and realize that armada directives are another resource that needs to be saved and stockpiled for events like these.
2. Realize that you will not be able to complete these events and sally forth anyways.
3. Quit and stop allowing Scopely to ruin your life.

There were multiple ways to finish the Completionist Series event. I was finished about day 17. I realize not everyone is going to be able to finish every event, that is why they gave us so many events to finish the series. Hell, I didn't finish a bunch of the ticketed events because I didn't have tickets, but I still finished the series. You take what you can get cause Scopely, in the end, is a business and is not going to give it all to you.

Just put apex events on the slow days. I mean we have days like Sunday that are jam packed with events then we have days that have virtually nothing. I don’t mind some down time from som events, but a few events everyday helps with game play. But that’s how it feels when you barely get any to even run. You get what 5-15 in dailies then 100 once every so many days from alliance store and you collect so many from rogue store every few days. I HATE Faction Hunt!!!
Not the rewards, but the grind. I have to kill about 3 times the amount of my dailies PER FACTION; about 75 hostiles per faction. That's a total of 7 EXTRA dailies in ONE DAY.

One improvement to Faction Hunt should be to DRASTICALLY reduce the amount of hostiles required to complete it.

As another game dev: if server tick rate doesnt allow to keep them from launching, then put a check in 30 seconds after launch, assign a winner and auto refund directives. That will take dev time so in the meantime, like LITERALLY IMMEDIATELY you could massively bump the respawn rate

I literally haven't spent anything to get this skin. You get more enough then directives from rogue dailies (Data and key chests) to accrue enough directives to use during the event if you aren't stupid and blow them before it

If your alliance has no desire to help you with this event, you can safely switch to another alliance for the duration of the event where there are the same players for more active campaigns on armadas

I calmly helped 4-5 players in the alliance with this event and launched 15-20 37 level armadas, and many had enough of this to get into the prize places

Spent 6 hours, 3000 rare directives, and 4200 uncommon directives. Plus those spent by alliance mates. Guess where that left me? 77th place. Do you not see the asinine nature of LBs yet? Many hours and thousands of directives wasn't even enough to get a single shard. Better luck against the wallet warriors next MONTH when this comes around again. Still not seeing it??

So I am going to vent for a moment... I love the arcs and the events, but I realized this past arc one small problem and I hope it is addressed in the future.

Those that advance through the battle pass and get the tokens to unlock the arc story, but cannot participate. If they make to the the Arc Event Store, they have to pay for those storyline missions with the Store Tokens and need a method to redeem the arc tokens they collect.

With all respect to Scopely and the Dev team. Players that did not redeem the Storyline tokens should be able to use those instead of the Event Store Currency to get the storyline cause they will advance as time progresses and should not be penalized for not being the level of the storyline at the time of the launch.

Here is a great example... My Daughter is only starting her Level 28 build and won't be able to get the storyline, but will get the tokens in the F2P Battle Pass rewards. When the store comes she should be able to exchange those rewards for the story line instead of waste Event Store Currency on it.

I fully agree with your message. I lost my DVor which was mining 400k+ per hour. All the research is not applicable to Feesha, that is really bad. It makes it questionable to even try leveling. The PVP spread is so high it doesn't really matter. I'm 41 and I can hit 31. If I put Keenser as the only officer on my enterprise.... there isn't a level 31 on the server that stands a chance no matter which crew they have. Leveling your base is just about as useless since someone 10 levels above is going to one shot it anyway. Best bet is a shield game because base power is pointless. Even the bonuses of the base are silly, when was the last time any of our generators generated anything? For me it's been about 2 years. Just something to suck up resources that should be used on ships and research.

Yes that's true, unfortunately. I would always vote that you have to be able to earn everything that can be bought. But the principle is also in play with the other P2W elements, such as the second research or the construction contract. Get ahead faster. Ultimately it depends on the player himself, but slowly you will reach your goal. just not that fast.

With the dock, this is of course borderline, because the player has an advantage that cannot be earned, e.g. in the TC where the number of ships plays a role. Or even with the dismantling events, it makes a significant difference if you have one more ship.

2 days into arc: who has a tier 8 (warp 150) ship? Sure i can summon to mine or pvp, but why would I? It would be better to do PvP in very low warp system and make more low warp nodes available. Perhaps make the old lat nodes rotate from new to old and back in a few systems.

Decide by ops if one must use the new or old dvor is a mess. Always has been. (Assumption is the mother of all mess ups). Many lvl 35+ dont have a new dvor (as didnt bother to max the old dvor). It would be better allow to hull points only if the ships are the same. Regardless of ops. So all players can use any dvor, just kill the same kind of dvor.

So as a lvl41 player, in order to compete in this event I need to spend $100 to get the Feesha. I can’t use my normal Dvor and mine normal latnium, that gives me zero points. Once again the PvP event is TOTAL CRAP - a lvl 35 player is making points by killing small players ships in a system they think it's safe (different system listed in the event and no way to find out the rest of the systems for other lvl brackets) for PvP event's players should only be earning points for killing ships in there bracket, all the PvP system should be clearly listed in the event description and the PvP systems should NOT be used for anything else during the PvP event so players entering them will know what are they getting into...

What is the point of the new Feesha ship, to be able to mine lat faster? Why? I can't spend the lat I have now. So being able to earn more faster that I currently can serves no purpose. At the moment I have no intention of wasting any effort to getting the ship. Scopely needs to allow for latinum to be used to purchase a lot more things that you can currently purchase.

The rewards on both mining slbs are dropping way too fast. In speculation place 4 gets only half of place 1 and in progression p4 even has less than half of p1. This is absurd, this urgently needs to be improved.

This arc so far has been the worst in STFC history. Scoplay put 0 thinking into this one that’s for sure. Last ARC was awesome with all the rewards you could have gotten but this one is not that on par with even a normal ARC.

The Feesha mines concentrated latinum faster. A T1 Feesha refinery pull is 50K for 1 chest and 100K for 2 chests. 2 chests yield 4000 refined latinum. Plus there are Ferengi crew who boosts concentrated latinum mining by 6500%. Look at the overall picture and not just that you're losing your D'Vor. But stay frosty.

You don't quite understand, I currently have 4 D'Vor's (3 T8 and 1 T7) I can mine 2M/hr and can dominate any lat mining if I try. A Fessha does nothing for me. There have been quite a few dud ships lately, so specialized that they are next to useless (but that is a different discussion). I have more lat than I can use. I am spending 100K/month and it still is growing faster. I DON'T need more lat, I need a way to use it. As you move up levels the ways to spend the lat keep diminishing.

I better refinery doesn't help it makes it worse. I have all the refined lat I can use, in fact I have way more than I can use. I can skip the refinery for 6 months and I still wont run out of refined lat. I have the exact opposite problem with uncommon gas and crystal. I don't have any and the refinery doesn't produce enough for me so that I have some to spend.

The only reason to mine raw lat is to refine into lat. Refining for parts is secondary so you can tier up and mine faster...

The Feesha is needed so you can mine c-lat and refine more into lat that will scale higher (bigger returns as you tier up)

I have 1.3B raw lat, so I converted my three T9 dvors to Feeshas... I'll keep my T7&T8 in reserve...

I am absolutely fuming about no latinum scoring in this Quark event - you advertised it like this Scopely, I set up 200 day researches so I could score from the lat spend and then you change the rules and airbrush it out of the event comments. Don’t announce something you can’t deliver - it’s such a basic rule, and what you are showing is that you can deliver no new development - all the arcs are the same events - exactly the same events - the one time you promised more you screwed it up. You need new developers. Scratch that - you need a developer - I don’t think you have one. The descriptions are always wrong text, the event names aren’t right, the thumbnails are the wrong ship faction or race - you are a complete joke at what you should be delivering for premium pricing. It’s piss poor. Sort it out, if you make a promise keep it or make a grovelling apology and a big fat chest to make up for destroying the anticipation of something new. 1. it looks subjectively (? anyone has screenshot of rewards in former arcs) like a small amount of reward
2. in all the earlier arcs you got ress PLUS tokens for event shop where you could get more ress and/or other useful stuff
   now you get only gettokens for the eventshop where you can get ress... (and a few officer shards included)

maybe all in all you get the same.
you could only tell this if you compare the dabo table inventory with the rewards of former arcs PLUS the possible rewards of the event shop.
I can only tell what it looks like out of my custumer perspektive... and it looks bad

It does look like they improved the ticketed rewards more in line with what they were historically. Last arc they were totally nerfed. It was outrageous especially if you bought the ticket pack which generally has been a good value. For example, a ticketed event could have been traded for a whopping 2 epics or 4m dilithium. Now, one ticketed event would get you 96mil dil and a bunch of gas which is comparable to the last year’s tickets rewards roughly, same with the steel/ore and trit/crystal pulls. Obviously, things vary by ops level (I’m 42) and every month wasn’t identical, but gives you some sense of the history.

Yes, I don't think the makers have understood that yet. Many of the big players find their joy in defeating the little ones. It is best for them to always win and their ships should not suffer any damage. You could also add some kind of godmode research. But of course they will always demand more because they get bored. That's just the problem when the greed for money eats up the brain.

Sure, many simply buy things without earning them, but the faster they get bored with the game and then they demand even more, and even stronger ships. And then what do they do with it? There is nothing for them to do but piss off other players.

If Scopaly managed to scare away F2P players as well, then what? What are the players supposed to defeat with their purchased ships, others with ships of exactly the same size? They don't want that, the howlers around here already believe that it's a gub if a LVL 30 game can inflict hull damage on their ship, yes they even complain when the slaughter (I don't want to call it a fight) won itself.

Above all, you have to realize that it's not just about F2P players. I've also bought items myself, but still. It's practically impossible to keep up. Especially since there's always something new coming up. Even if you spend many thousands of dollars a month. Can't keep up because even in the purchased packs the small level rewards are much lower. It's like a hamster wheel. Man will always run until he dies or becomes wise.

I sometimes think that some of the crazy and particularly aggressive players are brought into play by Scoplay themselves as annimatures in order to emotionally seduce the others into buying. To scare the hamster, so to speak, so that it runs faster again when it gets tired.

It's a shame, I like this game. And there could be both. A good game that is fun and engages the player. And still the upkeep for the game and additional billions of dollars for the owner if he has no other purpose in life. These two principles are not mutually exclusive if you want them to be.
