That is a great improvement. But again, how long did it take Scopley to do anything about this design flaw? Another item that makes me wonder if it was done purposley to cost you resources or if the devs just don't play

I also think part of the anger is the deterioration in game stability and quality of the new material since Scopley signed that licensing deal with CBS. Almost everything they've done since them has the feel of a money grab without concern for quality or the players. This Pant Killer event is a poster child for this problem

The fundemental problem with the current event remains that even if they change it to include players with additional ships, you still have to deal with something where the objective is simply to get blown up. you have to fight other players to find a hostile ship that can kill you quickly, sink time into a pointless exercise, and spend rss repairing multiple times if you want to collect the rewards

Given that this Arc has been based off "The Doomsday Machine", I understand the damage taken metric. In effect, we're playing the role of Commodore Decker. The solution is to have the Doomsday Worms/Armadas to have a better loot table(chance for rare/epic/specialty bps) when the event is active. That way players have the choice of suicide vs high level worms to finish quickly or grind lower level worms and actually have a shot to build better ships without dropping vast amounts of cash.

Planet Killer is Horrible... Why can't we get a higher respawn rate in the targeted sectors? I really can't compete since I don't have a ship bigger than a t6 Intrepid at ops 37. Working on it but I need to get the COW credits to buy more epic BPS... Kind of a catch 22. If the Nya Tuum sector atleast had a decent spawn rate I could score some decent points.

Planet Killer SMS Event seems to have been another disappointing one. 3 systems, no Armada tokens and too many players killing hostiles to even partake due to lag, freezing and just too many players in the specific systems. I hope that there is compensation for the overpopulated event.

The planet killer event is very poorly set up for level 33s. The top system we are allowed to score points in is full of worms that are far too weak. With my weakest qualifying ship (Saladin) with the weakest possible crew, I would need to attack 513 of the strongest hostiles I’m allowed in order to get enough damage to complete the event. In one day. This is just crazy. Before you run this event again you absolutely must allow level 33s to attack stronger worms in higher level systems, or it is totally unplayable @prime gulch

My “suicide attempt”, on the strongest worms I’m allowed to attack. I received almost no damage at all. Players that are allowed to attack stronger worms are posting screenshots where they earn ~1000x more points per attack vs me. The event is totally broken for level 33s

none of the "allowed systems" for the event had big enough hostiles to for even a moderately shipped L33 to suicide against... each death took about 20 minutes if I was fortunate enough to get hostiles in the packed system.... and each death gave about 750k points... (first milestone took 2 trips if I remember right) if I could have suicided 8 times on 8 hostiles I'd be less annoyed with the event but... spending 20 minutes "suiciding" 8-10 times was pretty infuriating.

Nice for all players who were high enough in the level, the little ones couldn't get them. Now you have the plans in again, with a limit of 10. This doesn't matter to all bigger players, they already have their 2nd Stella, but the smaller players should once again spend money on something that other players have received for free. You know what, my willingness to pay money to you has decreased further and I will NEVER spend money on a 2 Stella and also think twice about further expenses to you. Congratulation! I know I'll be one of the few who thinks that way, but you are promoting the injustice and the smaller players should spend money to make up for that??? Bravo, this is how you slowly but surely wreck a game!

The event store is present for me and I can see that I can buy 25 Jellyfish BPs something as a F2P I would be most interested in doing obviously. However, none of the events you have provided for Level 14 Ops award any currency for the event store. Can we fix this? Because that's really hitting lower level players.

It didn't take long for Scopely to rehaul the Ticket events to become "cash grab" events. To get highly desirable in game items now, you have to buy Tickets to cash into get ticket events in order to earn Antiprotons so you can be competitive at all in earning the 1-3 spots in auction style events. They will never stop creating new tokens because each new token created is a new con job.

Planet Killer was gated to high level players who had the most Epic warships. And even then the event itself was stupid because it was a trick to get players to see who can commit suicide the fastest and burn the most repair rss. So the 1st and 2nd place players would naturally be the ones who had 4-5 epic ships doing kamikaze all day.

This arc is horrible so far. An event designed to force players to buy repair speed-up packs because the only way to win is to blow up your ship repeatedly? Where's the skill involved? Yo these ticketed events are straight garbage, the spending unc one specifically on research takes 603 unc to complete, yet the rewards are the equivalent 8 antiprotons, and 22k neutronium, not worth it at all. The armada one seems alright but it gives so little i'm considering not using the tickets on it, more of a waste of time than anything. The worm one is pretty much in the same boat. Why did you deviate so far from the previous events?They which were a nice change of pace, good rewards for a medium amount of time, to this low reward very time or resource consuming events.

@lyric lily moving the conversation here per your post. I still maintain that my suggestion is an easy fix. You concern about alliances that engage in diplomacy is easy to resolve. Allow alliances that buy in to a TC to "invite" 1 or 2 allies to help them.

That is one of many possibilities and it could very well happen. What I wanted to illustrate however, is the care that needs to be taken in decisions like these. There are a finite amount of members working on the game that are already tasked with projects to sustain the game in 3, 6 and 9 months from now. Then there are members who's mission is to take a reactive approach and focus on small/medium-sized tasks for big gains on the short term.

An invite feature would involve aspects including art, user experience and engineering to name a few. I'd label that a medium to large feature. 😅
Then there's priorities in scheduling and what have you. It's all quite something to behold.

That said and done, feedback is valued a lot. Sometimes, it's tough to work through the mass and create a list of short, actionable points that can be forwarded as is and on this note, I invited you and welcome everyone here to leave their thoughts not only on what is here now - but also what you think should be in the future and why that'd be best for everyone. It's the best way of getting things done. 💪

In short on your subject, TC is here to stay - and it has improvements on the roadmap for it. I just don't have any ETA's to go with anything, as they're ever changing.

TC is the most exciting feature that has ever been added to STFC. The vast majority of players (i believe) agree that in it's current state it is terrible. Every month many of us eagerly check the patch notes to see if there are ANY updates or hope for improvement. Month after month now we have seen nothing. With no sign of hope on the horizon many of us might give up.

I have another bone to pick with you. Historically, the arc missions have been collectable at my OPS level and I've just been able to archive the missions to do once I get to an appropriate level. However, this arc it seems I can't do this? Just picked up the 10 mission keys and lo' and behold: No missions in gifts tab:

I would happily pause on any new content until game stability is addressed. It’s progressively gotten worse after each patch, I can’t play more than 5 minutes without one bug or another affective gameplay. I would also prioritize this over the broken/mislabelled officers which drives me up the wall but if the stability isn’t addressed we won’t have a game in 3, 6, 9 months

Events are very grindy. And repair bills high. Event store doesn’t feel as good as it used to be. I think Scopely is trying to make events that give us taste of 4* ship repair bills and economy so that we wouldn’t be so horrified when we learn the truth. I think people will just quit soon if these keep up, though. STFC starts to feel again less and less like a game and more and more like a cash grab. Maybe at Scopely they start to lose their faith in the game too and therefore try to milk the last money from their customers. 😂

I just completed the worm hunt after the Doomada event earlier today, and I cannot believe just how ridiculous the hostile grind was by comparison. I could get the Doomada event done in under an hour on one, maybe two repairs. The hostile grind event was dozens of repairs and took over four hours.

If you just take 5 minutes to look at how the events are scored, it's pretty apparent that the events are orders of magnitude in difference for resources and time required: the armada event is by damage, and because it's an armada event, you're pooling buffs to minimise damage taken and maximise damage dealt. I needed to do maybe 10 armadas for myself, but I probably did 100 to support the ALB. We're the biggest alliance on our server, we hit the biggest uncommon armadas exclusively, and we're at double the score of the next alliance of the server.

Compare the points given per hostile to the damage required for the hostile grind, and that's already an order of magnitude difference. Then factor in the insane firing patterns that don't really have a clear sweet spot on crewing, seem to expect OP g4 faction ships, and it gets even more ridiculous. Since the 40+ hostiles are so crazy, you want to find the sweet spot for hostiles in the upper 30s, so you have to go to Mal'Tahn and use leftover tokens from to enter the system. You have to kill hundreds of hostiles to get the millions of points the event requires, which translates into dozens of repairs. I'm running a nearly maxed Aug and a t6 Jelly, and in one day I've been hundreds of repair tickets and millions of dilithium. Never doing that again.

Here's the real bottom line: what's the point in having ticketed events and letting people buy additional event tickets to do multiple events per day when there's clearly one event that's efficient and fun and another that's extremely repair cost-intensive, insanely time-consuming, and no fun to play?

I'm kicking myself for getting an extra ticket pack.

Really fundamentally, I struggle with design failures rooted in not doing simply back-of-an-envelope math: what are the points for the event, how do they translate into resource costs and time required. This is a game, but it's also a business that brings in significant revenue. You don't need to do testing when a basic quantitative assessment would convince you that the experience of competing choices won't hold up, this is a very inexpensive way to avoid disappointment and upset.

Doomsday worms is almost making me quit the game. Thats how poorly thought out this is. 30 players in one system all trying to hit the 4 or 5 explorers you can see. Oh yeah and you have to hit about 200. Absolutely lazy programming and zero thought for the players.

I'm pretty convinced the spawn mechanics in the game are either broken in their statistical foundation or fairly abusive in their design. Why is it reasonable that systems don't have a normal distribution of hostile types and levels that they consistently maintain, instead of converging on exactly what you don't need for one, if not both, criteria, by the fact that a player is there to grind?

I'd really like to hear a straight answer: are the long-standing problems with spawn skew WAI, or is this a bug?

"Fire the developers" is venting, it's punitive, it doesn't resolve the game issues. Fixing scores so that the ticketed combat events can be finished with comparable repair and time requirement seems more reasonable and constructive.

I run the highest power alliance on my server. I'm a 43, our alliance range is from levels 27 to 50. 33 is the highest level at which I've heard positive feedback about worm grinding over Doomadas. Above that I hear high levels of frustration, and having tried it myself and bought a ticket packet to do it, they're no wrong.

I already wrote to support asking for refund, but adding it here also...I bought first day of the event pass so I can get all special ships vidar, stella...and now you put the limit on those on half.
This is called cheating customer and I'm sure it is against the law.
If you offered something keep it as people bought thinking they will get something in return.
In the future place the restrictions at the start, and no one can say anything but changing it during event is just low punch from you!

Perhaps, but across the whole arc those scraps are worth 72 officer shards and 27 projectile shards, plus the help that gives in completing the officer recruit milestone event.
With the extra neutronium I could get 63 officer shards (if I avoid the epics) and no projectile shards.
Not exactly an equal swap.

The easiest fix for ticketed events is to make 3 different tasks to do (like it is now, pve, mining , what have you), but have them all pay out the same special resource. Then you can use that special resource in a event store type location to choose the reward you want. ( unc, shards, whatever they want to let us have).
That way you can choose how to spend your day ( which was supposedly the point of this) and get the reward that helps you the most.

Not being able to buy all bps for Stella or BB isn't cool. Doesn't specify a limit in the event store, and Stella was able to be fully unlocked in the last event store. Having to wait another 3 months for the next event store to have a second Stella is atrocious.

@nova cedar 🤷 it's always been that way. It always takes 2-3 events to buy a new ship from an event store. I agree it sucks but it's a business strategy to keep you playing. Think about how quickly the whales get bored because they buy everything and max it out right away, that's the reason we have to have new events and completely new arcs every month or two.

After the debarcle of such difficult levels on the first ticket event of this arc, the second day’a ticket event appears with what seems like two levels of difficulty for armadas; one with higher milestone levels than the other but better rewards. I chose the higher rewards for more work, but after a number of uncommon wormmadas, I realise I’m not scoring, only to see it’s rare worm armadas! And only way to even attempt this means big spend for worm armada directives! It wasn’t clear to me that it was rare armadas only, there shouldn’t be ticket events where it’s impossible without £££ and scopely’s support answer: you’ve used the tickets now do we can’t refund them. Cheers for nothing.

Just wanted to say that paying our rare vanilla armada directives for the current armada AMS is really appreciated, that's a fair amount of goodies that have real in-game value, and it's much appreciated. Being able to celebrate doing well in an armada event with more armadas, that keeps the game fun.

Can we have more Salvage parts in the dailies? Or even Discovery Recruit Tokens? I already have the discovery refinery but about the people without the ship, I think it would be good for them to get a chance at recruiting officers as well. It could be really helpful if it could be loaded into the dailies in some shape or form.
And another suggestion could be to give armada directives in the Event Store because I'm trying to run uncommon armadas and it would be helpful. I'm currently out and just have 95 in my inventory and I have to wait until tomorrow to get it.

I checked against LCARS release notes, and DuPont and Mäkinen were released in the first part of the TOS arc, although they aren't part of the TOS group. According to the responses from <@&509690795536941056>, officers released during the arc should be in the event store. Could the oversight on these two be corrected? #697529040600563807 message

Another way of putting this is that it seems fairly arbitrary that all officers but these two have shards now accessible in the store, despite being released in the same arc. Why leave them out?

Still have players in their low 30s remarking that the curves between Wormadas and worm hunts are uneven, they can complete worm hunts with just a few kills, virtually no repair cost, whereas killing wormadas is far more time-consuming and repair-intensive.

the milestones on the armada damage ticketed event for ops19 is crazy (and even worse after going to ops 20). At 19 with a max talla, good luck dealing enough damage to reach all the milestones. With a tier4 north star, I could only manage two milestones at best with lots of help.

anyone below ops23 can't even start their own armadas. the milestones are out-of-proportion for what a newer player like myself can reasonably achieve. (and I'm not someone that rushed my ops. I do most research available prior to upgrading ops.)

similarly the increased firepower event seems to be scaled towards having some pretty expensive ships to spend tritanium on, which people don't have at ops 19 or 20. It just makes no sense.

Just spent quite a while tonight helping out a member who was a 33 but behind on ships finish the Doomada ticketed event. Had a 31 who's stronger on ships declare that Doomadas made no sense for him compared to worm hunting, which has half the payout. There are definitely issues with the event milestones being outsize for the armada events below 34.

The underlying issue is that the events are unlike normal armadas for being completely damage-driven. In all other armadas, initiator gets a guaranteed payout, even if they're a small player lighting up a target that's guaranteed to blow them out. In most other armada events there's additional scoring just for spending directives, which may be the easier way for these events, given that there is no real payout to shift, at least for the uncommons, it's all based on event score and their payouts. This doesn't, however, amount to happiness for servers where this level range is the top end.

1 lv 27 Eclipse transport = 900k points. The second I get about 700k before I die. so that's 1.6m per death. Need to repeat that 22 times. to get all the BP points.
22... almost 64 hours of time repairing the ship or about 110 30-minute speed-ups.

The rewards in event store are useless
What is the point of the planet killer event?

I did first round as ops 41 luckily augur was in the braket, burning through speed ups. The event store is full of crap I do not need, where is the sarco, where are the recent officers? Oh just the TOS of last two months.

Now I am 42 and oh boy, I have to die either at rare assmadas or die at worms ONLY with jelly, augur is not included now. Whats?!?!! So add trit burn.
One trit token of 1M costs 1k neut. Wait what?!

Ok, calm down, now i can kill any assmada or worm.... lets do some math:

uncommon 39s.
50 tokens = 50 * 0.5M points = 25M points over 250 minutes.

If i go worm killing say 41s and 42s is about 0.1M a pop

50 tokens suiciding the jelly at a rare is just under 7M points

Ok so either grind worms or assmadas. Is going to be assmadas to lower trit costs.

For what? A handful of officer shards. I can’t even use the store currency to get TOS scotty or chekov?!! Oh Come on!!

Only reason I am really doing this events is to help the 30s in my alliance. Otherwise, 24h shield and walk away from this crap. Whoever thought this would be FUN ?!

this is kinda the point, most those hitting 27 have new grind to get stella chances are they be 28 before they actuallt get a stella or very nearly.

On that logic alone that means event should be 28 upwards not 27, as by time you done research, built lvl 27 shipyard, grinding load eclispe armada without a eclipse (required to buy the first stella)

Adding to that you wont have eclipse loot bonus so you got grind 3-4x harder to same amount loot, plus the fact you wont have many dir if any at all and 100% dependant on allies carrying your throigh those armadas without your stella.

It huge uphill battle and most be well past lvl 27 by time they get their stella

Ideally, one should have an intercepter, explorer, and battleship that are all good. At your level you should invest in the vidar, mf, and kumari (lowest priority until you get a bortas)

IF you're trying to solo Clear the Coast at 27 it's going to be a slog. However if you're in a good alliance, you can generally slip your Kumari/Vidar/ops 26 faction ship into a level 29-31 armada and get some points and take minimal damage.

The reason it does is it allows for people to strategize when they will take it slow. After you get the 4th dock? Good idea, after you get Fac miners? Debatable. Otherwise you'll just have every player who are at the same level always the same. If you're patient, you'll be quite strong

I think it's still going to stick in people's throats that some of these events appear to be hostile grinds but are effective repair auctions, where the point seems to be consuming repair speed-ups and burning trit. I can appreciate that Scopely has reduced costs in recent arcs, responding to long-standing player feedback, but I think it's still leaving a really bad taste that these events are essentially wasteful.

In finance traders speak of "negative carries", which are trades that cost more to fund than the return they generate. I've asked around the alliances on my server for feedback, there are certainly a number of things where Scopely has fixed issues that are appreciated, but the net sentiment is still dominated by the sense that this arc is, quite unlike previous event store arcs, a negative carry overall.

It's entirely possible that the business needs from Scopely here are such that customers can't get an enjoyable arc out of it, but the veneer is pretty thin here, there's pretty strong resentment.

Scopely are you professional or not, you know, KNOW you have a problem with lag related to scoring yet , you schedule,a hostile stella events, a swarm event, a disco event, dailies maybe twice in a day by ppl, and plunder slb, pull your heads out

@lusty rock, Swarm and Disco both being on Sunday is actually a good thing. For both events the ideal Bridge crew is Pike, Moreau and T'laan. IF you have a decent Disco it's 10-11 kills max allowing for scoring lag in a level 28 Anomaly System. Takes about 5 minutes to do not counting travel. IF you have a decent Franklin, swarms takes a couple of runs (depending on if you want to optimize your Frequency modulators). At worst, you piggyback part of it on your swarm daily. Hardest part (depending on if you have a decent Stella) is Clear the Coast. What Scopely doesn't say in the event description is that the systems past Lindstrom like Resara also count for scoring and you have fairly rapid spawns on level 29-31 Exchange Transports. I'll take Clear the Coast any day over Dimbulbsday Worms/Armadas. As far as the lottery events, short of ALB, I ignore them.

Only events I have lag issues with are ones with bonus scoring or helps. Swarms is a minor issue at times IF I get lucky and get a bunch close together, but when you need 188 level 32 swarms, it's a negligible issue.

My problem is when they give us mining events and nothing other than dailies that can be piggybacked.

Even without a Franklin at ops 28 the swarms might be tricky depending on which faction you went, but still doable. And piggybacking is essential if you're trying to save time or don't have the ship power.

The Plunder Solo LB may the single worst LB I’ve ever seen in this game, and that’s saying a lot. I’m Ops37 and if I kill myself grinding for the next 22hrs I can get 10.5k Neutronium for 1st place. I have paid for each BP upgrade since this mechanic was rolled out. Barely was able to complete BP event yesterday at high cost in speed ups. Repeat today means I will not be able to complete it today. Crap like this makes me, and a lot of players like me, seriously consider walking away from this game.

The event was great but please, please do not make mining of things like 3* materials a task, those nodes are often full. Parasteel or Tritanium are more boring but far more likely not to cause a bottleneck.

Is there anyone who would be able to tell me criteria that is required to have Stella bps offered in the event store?

I give up on the fact that I got the Stella bps from a previous event store and now they are just gone, as if I never got them. I know that I was offered the bps at level 24 or 25 when I originally got them and then they disappeared from the event store and I never saw them again. I know that I have had other players tell me they have them offered to them and they are not even ops 27 yet. Customer service is asking me for ss of those players and stated something about criteria needs to be met, but I refuse to hurt other players because this seems more like the guy wants these and then those players will lose that option. I just want to get the ship and be done with this entire mess. I have grown use to being highly disappointed in Scopely customer service, didnt know I would ever reach the point where I felt screwed over this badly as well and like im being used to take something away from others.

But basically meaning I can get it in however many months it takes for them to offer Apex? Because I don't know of any other way to raise the rep prior to that. Any help and suggestions are welcomed. I'm getting the bp events that would go so much smoother but instead I need to blow my ship up however many times it takes to complete the event.

The st Patrick’s day concept is pretty good and not to long that it’s to tedious. However one of your devs or CM (can’t remember which) made a point of saying they think we would like this event. It got me thinking wow what rewards are they gonna offer I would even go as far to say I was excited at what I could be able to obtain. It turns out 3k of neutronium and a pointless avatar and border ................ ok if that’s something that you “think the community will like” then I must be in a very small minority, however I don’t think I am. When my charged nano probes start at 150k in the event store and your making a song and dance about 3k reward I begin to question everything you do.

if you have evidence that you HAD some BPs for stella and now they're gone, you should post the evidence to the support of course. Without the evidence, it still should be possible for the support team to find why these BPs are not there for you anymore. but you know buglagely...

I have other players in my alliance who have the bps, I have had them ss having those bps so that they don't run into the same issue im currently in. I know I took a ss when I got them but I can't find it anywhere unfortunately. Now I will keep evidence of everything that they can't dispute.

I really like the idea of the St Patrick's Day event, my only suggestions for improvements would be a) some of those questions really were impossible to all but the most hardcore fans b) jumping around all over the place it would really have made sense to use my discovery, but my discovery would have died going almost all of the "deal 1 dmg to hostiles in X" answers c) I'm sure I saw a wrong answer for one that required you to go to a rogue token system? If I'd done that I'd be so pissed off d) better rewards, because, why not

Short feedback to the St. Patrick event:

Please tell the team, who developed the event, the event is great.

But as always there a few things which are not so good.

If you use mine 3* Gas, Crystal, or Ore in a dedicated system as an answer, many player getting problems. Mines are limited and due to a missing diplomatic system in the game (hint for a new feature 😉 ) we aligned on some ROE rules. These rules e.g. protect non OC miner on non-empty mines. So the player have to do a EMK to get a mine (and getting problems with the server community) or could not finalize the event. Not so good. It would be better if you would allow the player to mine 3* material in ANY system. Even if one system is totally occupied the player could mine in another system and would have a chance to finalize the event.
Rewards…. The frame and the avatar are great. I already see many player in the game using it. But the amount of event store credits is too low. If you repeat such an event (and you should ! The event is great !!!) the event store credits should be enough to buy one bp for the most expensive ship in the event store of the player. E.g. if you are lvl 34, you should get enough event store credits to bug one Ent,Aug,D4 bp.
Bugs…. A more general problem. I had to restart the game quite often during the event because of several bugs. E.g. the next question was not loading or bugs like this one: #👾-bug-reporting message Please increase your effort to fix these bugs. If you have problems to reproduce the bugs, why not making a survey and asked for the players if they know the bugs and which device they are using ?

Thanks for the St. Patricks event. While I agree that the Uhura Event was a bit more fun because it was more of a scavenger hunt than a trivia I really enjoy these type of events. Really something different to the "grind stuff for reward" kind of events. Hope to see more of these with creative forms of riddles.

I am now lvl 22 and I bought extra ticket events hoping for an opportunity to use them, but so far the extra ticketed events are only for Armadas. What am I supposed to do with these tickets? Are there going to be extra ticketed events other than Armadas and killing hostiles? I take part in Armadas with my Alliance, but with my ships I never got anywhere close to making 2.5M damage total. Sure, I get that. I just would rather they make a plan for them to be added to something else or the next event store. I'm sure I'm not the only one who looks at what's available at the start of the store and prioritizes. I spent a pretty chunk of rewards boosting my dvor so I could skip some of the grind. Then they add these and I would rather grind all day and buy these. But I can't because they planned poorly. Which in turn means I'm not maximizing either priority.

Yeah, scopely decided we need to feel the pain of fighting doomsday which in alimit game environment makes sense but they arent compensating with rewards, why play a harder arc for the same and in some case less rewards.

They could have made the TOS Doomsday arc epic but they just didnt think it through to completion.

Like doomsday is basically a giant armada but no armada officers, Doomsday could have been a server event, each armada done on it kill it a bit more and gave better rewards and doomsday allaince credit.

I’ve written scopley about that and they’ve shown me that while the reported amount of points fluctuates that the actual amount awarded is consistent.

@manic estuary , I can't specifically answer your question, but you should be getting points for killing worms/armadas in ANY Doomsday system. I DID use my B'rel and Gladius and finished in a few minutes in Yifarux.

@vagrant topaz, bonus points are an issue across the board. I run into that weekly doing Anomalous Phenomena. Due to lag/sync I always kill a few more ships then needed in theory to complete the event.

In general, XP inconsistencies are visual only in the banners. Event scoring is different as the base and bonus scores never seem to sync properly.

Points need to be reevaluated for rules of acquisition. It’s supposed to be latinum rush, not 4* materials in territory space rush. I have no chance in those leaderboards, even with the 2 dvor I worked so hard to get, unless I mine multiple 4* materials nodes in my alliance’s 3* territory. It’s one thing for an event to be run by what kind of ship you have (dvor vs horizon/envoy on latinum). It’s even worse when it is also limited by if your alliance can get 3* territory. 4* mats being so high on the event points made sense when it was only those that could get to dark space that could mine it.
4* should only give points to players that have reached 38+ and have the option to get to dark space, to improve quality of life for players that have maxed their Dvors and need more option for competition in the event.

Planet Killer SLB - the event itself is a bit on the "weird" side, to say the least, but Leslie completely breaks the competition.

Because Leslie is such a limited access officer (only ever been offered in the Federation Day pack twice, as I've been told) means that if you didn't happen to plunk down $20 last September you have no chance of a top 10 finish in many of the leaderboards.

This is not the only scenario where Leslie is OP, but it's the most obvious in recent times.

It’s a little silly the way the Constellation auctions are bracketed. I’m a 43, that puts me in a bracket with players who are heavily invested in the game, where literally everyone has a Jelly. There are only 4 slots to get any prints, so the cost to get refits is absolutely insane. Bracket sizing to reflect demand shouldn’t be just the number of players, it should account for the number of eligible ships, as most players in my bracket are going to have all three g3 epics and a Jelly.

Meanwhile, players can get complete refits before getting a Jelly for a song, where brackets that are largely f2p get 10 slots that pay out.

Jellies are a single bracket for the server, and people aren’t going to spend any less for refits if it’s one pool or four, it’s just that they are more likely not to win because of the bracket system. There’s an entire tier of players who are getting the short end of the stick on this event because the bracketing favours kraken and little fish but not what’s in between them.

it is over two days, perhaps you'll get some Salvage Parts to recruit some TOS officers today - I did, not sure from what - and I was able to level Chekov 2 levels... The few points I got from leveling Chekov and whatever shards I got made the net rewards for TOS Officers - SMS be a net positive even if I purchase 4 or 5 shards.

Just trying to keep hope alive for you to get it done, but I agree with your comment otherwise. 🙂

Who's idea was it that Plunders of War event for level 35 has not warp token required for the PVP system? so event winners just take turns killing each other with full loads over and and over......? 32K+ player kills for winner and K/D ratio less than 2.. AND then you run it twice in a row.....!!? This just was not a fair event for many who just grind it out says he who managed to stay in top 20.....everyone else says they had tokens required for their PVP system....

Plunders of War SLB Issues

Raid Players PvP is severely unbalanced due to gap in level bracket in PvP systems too large. ie. 3-4mil strength ships constantly winning over 600k-2.5mil str ships when assigned to same PvP system
Zero incentive for players to do Raid PvP due to hostile points in certain systems being more than worth it than even the 2x points you get from Raid Players in the PvP system. Point rewards for Raid Players need to be at least 4x than raiding hostiles in other systems

I'm ops 35. This won't work for everyone, bur I'm based in Ophidium Pulvis. I can take my Vidar 2 warps to Nelvana and mop up the level 31-33 explorers. Triple locked so I don't have to deal with Chasers and 158k cargo means I can farm for an extended period. Won't get me too spot as I had other priorities, but top 20 is realistic. IF you farm Gradientes, the process can be done in a T7 Kehra. Farm to your hold is full, recall, rinse and repeat. Depending on research and dock level, repairs are under 30 minutes so you're not making a dent in Speed ups AND depending on tier and level, you can work towards a future scrapping.

Existing event store is unlikely to be changed any further.
As with all content releases, down the line officers gradually become more available for free as well. It just might take a fair bit of time.

If the developers intentions are for Profits, which I’m sure they are, then this is a pretty crappy way of going about it! Each server works hard to establish some semblance of a ROE that players can abide by, but this means that nobody knows when a player has broken those rules!

Dear Scopely,

Where as we do appreciate the opportunity to merge servers with Server 19, we have a fairness complaint involving the current event structure. Right now it is 100% based on population. With no way for the other server to honestly work at trying to keep their server. In future merges. You may wish to include grind events. That would allow the servers to truly fight for their server pride.

I liked the Plunder event for 29 down it was a true f2p event, in addition i was gathered millions of rss. I won multiple times and had to spend very little in rss. It would have been awesome if i had hostiles that paid out equal in asingle rss so i could specifically gather it. Also change it to tickets one called Predator- pvp and the other Prey- pve that are still slb. If you care, make predator scoring system dependent to reduce basing raiding to win. Try arc-long slb like it.
Make more use of tickets, add more events, experiment, see what player like,

There's a distinct failure pattern in the game where the game doesn't deal well with being backgrounded in an app switch. You start a battle, the timer runs out when the game is backgrounded, it doesn't know the timer's run out when you switch back, so you have to do something that forces the game to sync state with the server.

so far, the chance for grain payouts have all been above what I've spent. only managed a handful of pulls, but i'm guessing based on what i've seen and on peoples scores that the average on a 10 pull is well above a 10 payout. with 100 to start, should be able to just infinitely gain grain unless you have very bad luck

and all my food is gone, feeding them gives more points, making new food is purely luck but CAN be rewarding. no idea what i would recommend at this point. probably feeding.

Dear Scopely: read some Van Jacobson on "bad queuing" in networking. Some queuing is perfectly reasonable in asynchronous systems. But when your queues are full all the time or if you treat your system like queue backup isn't a control signal, you blow your feedback loop. It's like having a toiler that runs all the time because the arm with the floater doesn't raise when the tank fills.

Guys, the chests are set to the same time limit as the purchase options. if some one bought some thing from the store at the last minute, he would npt be able to use them with these timers for chests.
