A suggestion for next time, though: consider making the promo exo an Incursion exo, as long as we don't have one of those running concurrently. Or make a promo exo slot. Cuz I feel like it auto-populating the building exo slot is gonna cause people issues at some point.

@full swan thank you for the ability to test out the building exocomp. Just wanted to let you know that there unfortunately wasn’t much difference for me in the ability of killing these armadas. I couldn’t kill the 54 before and couldn’t kill it after the exocomp. But, I will say that it was awesome to be able to kill the 52’s very easily. I was only able to kill the 50’s with titan and cerritos buff. Thanks again for the ability to test out a new feature.

I would like to come back to the topic of “krenis obliterator - regional SLB”.

In our/my group, OPS 61/63 to OPS 70 compete with each other (as far as I can see; random samples).
for many players, it is clear from the outset that they will NEVER have a chance of a good result, no matter how hard they try.
that's really bad for morale and enjoyment of the game.
for example, i am currently in 698rd place (😂) despite strong ships for my level, the right crew, exos, etc - so outside of a reward.

I mean, you must realize that too - why are you doing something so unfair?

by the way, it's actually not an isolated case. the brackets in many internal server events are designed in the same way (e.g. ops61 vs ops69 cube thursday).
so more and more players are leaving these types of events behind, or no longer bothering with them. it's getting quieter and quieter... 😕

@full swan thank you for the exo to try the max building stats, love the idea. I tried it on my account using the same boosts/crew/ships I used prior to it, unfortunately it made a pretty miniscule difference in what I could hit. Prior i could kill 1 level 64 and have almost no hull left, now I can kill 1 level 64 and have 25% hull left, which isn't enough to run 2. On a positive note, It has helped me do faction dailies in 1 run vs 2, the extra umpf is nice outside of the Kremin things

Pretty sure the accounts they use to ‘test’ just have everything maxed so have no idea about how it is for the vast majority of players. Stick it on the list alongside Xindi armadas of things there’s no point bothering with because the effort isn’t worth the reward

It’s so hard to understand what is happening “in game” especially with new loops. I normally need to spend time and figure things out with my alliance and with this discord. I would like to take a moment and provide some feedback.

This month's battle pass, the Year of Hell Part 1, is a bit mixed. I've not quite enjoyed this battle pass so far, but I'm a huge fan of Voyager. I just sort of wished the actual Voyager ship had some utility in this battle pass, instead it's mainly theme-ing, with the missions and alt officers.

1. It is confusing. If you have to come up with a compound word like Invading Entity yet it plays exactly like an armada but isn't an armada, and then have to create a news post about it to clarify? Yeah, that's poor design, implementation, planning.

2. This content is thin. No new hostiles or interesting spaces to explore, just a set of systems with floating triggerables in the shape of an hourglass.

3. A nearly useless faction - Ex-Borg was a good addition and a step in the right direction. Section 31? Good if you enjoy wave defense. Terran? Arenas are still broken. DTI? DTI gets a building, a Faction Store, yet more currencies, and is just... mid. Maybe DTI can grow in the next part of the battle pass (let me guess, we're going to get some time ship or something as a buyable ship for just this faction in another part). Then two currency types for each that can buy the same faction rep...? Why? What does this complexity help with or add to the experience?

4. The illusion of choice - an EXO for the static or charged? Gating the advancement by introducing the EXO could have been good with allowing some crew building strategies or maybe officers that have some benefit to this, but maybe you should have waited until part 2 of the battle pass for this, when there's a reasonable expectation that these officers would have been acquired by more of the players.

5. Resources. This is perhaps the part I very much like. More resource abilities, more to gain from the store. That makes the pass worth it, IMHO.

Why close the alliance tournament store when they have a cool down for most things might want to remove the cool down to let us maximize our rewards or just not close it if you are going set cool downs.

The cooldown is there to prevent you obtaining everything in one go. The store was actually extended and the timers were not changed, so it did allow some double dipping depending on your first pull of the tournament. Last time they actually reset the cooldowns to their maximum to prevent this.

Hi all. I'm a relatively new player (lvl 13, playing for about a week) and there's an Event for the Jellyfish (Spock shards for building, leveling and tiering it up). Problem is, I apparently already need to have the Jellyfish in order to participate in the Event? What am I missing here? Why offer an event for a lower level newbie ship in which you don't offer an Event to earn blueprints to unlock the Jellyfish to begin with? I feel like I'm being punished. 🪼 😢

I am on ops62, which has the same ships as you can have on ops60 and I can defeat lvl62 entity armada targets. Yes there are some bonuses when ops61 comes, but you definitely should kill bigger armadas than 56...
Proper crew, researches etc... the casual needs.

What level ships do you have? I'm 60 too and with a max fortify and cerritos boost using a T9 rotarran and T4 enterprise D (with the warp upgrade to get it to 900+) I could take down 2 x 62, then no more spawns.... so did 4 more 60s after that. And one of those 60s was the wrong type as well by accident and even that went all OK due to the support ship buffs. So either you're a fresh 60 without the epics or you're doing something very wrong with your crews.

I got 3rd on the regional slb in my bracket, but understanding the crewing required out-of-game research since the definition of what works and doesn't work vs these things is clear as mud in game. Are they an armada? Well no, except sometimes. Are they a non-armada hostile? Well not that either, except sometimes. The event itself is a good idea, but it would have been much better if these were just armadas for crewing purposes, instead of introducing this weird quasi-armada thing that isn't well-covered in the crew descriptions.

One concrete suggestion is this: From the scan screen details screen (where it shows my crew including lower-decks), hilite crews whose abilities "work" versus the selected target. Or conversely, hilite (e.g. with a red border), those crew members whose abilities are inactive versus that target. Or better yet, put a giant red X over them.

Because the chimeras were pretty pointless and was not a big deal to skip that 2 days a month of limiter time content. Plus a lot of players didn't care to engage galaxy questb because it's not part of game lore. This krenim nonmadas however is integral to the new arc and has two loops and lots of events around it. Not nearly as skippable anymore.

One of our guys opsgraded to 40 recently, obviously never done any Arenas yet and they got 3300 as well, just like everyone else from ops 40 to 50… zero consideration on ranking or past progress. They can “tailor” the treasury to past performance/spending so it’s not impossible for them to adapt that code but then that would be something that helps the players instead of Scopely so they wouldn’t consider that…

According to some calculations, if I want to reach 35.42 million points for those Demarco shards, I need to ops up from 43 past 57. Not gonna happen in 3 days.

To even hit the first milestone I need to go from 43 to 47. 53 for 2nd milestone. I know it's heroic but that's just absurd.

I bring a second ship to kill lost hostiles after lost hostile. And it can take 5-10 min to get another Hirogen to spawn

What If Part 1 SMS requires me, an Ops 24 player, to get 1800 points from completing away missions.
Rare away missions are ops locked to 25.
Common gives 100 points, uncommon 200.
So even if I had all uncommons (which I do not), I would have to finish 9 away missions in a 24 hour period to participate.
I can run a maximum of 5 at once.
This is not likely.

Please start reviewing what a player is allowed to do in-game.

I do not have any current missions or away missions that offer any. Actually once a week mmight be generous, I might not get any even that often sometimes. This is dumb, because if the packs were actually in line with a cost of a micro-transaction I would probably spend some. The ASB could have been an entire expansion in itself. Player housing and inner-alliance trade with the ability to export rss to other alliance visitors within diplomatic levels for a price. Such as its own unique currency to afford upgrades to the base. Allowing for more alliance contributions and “things to do on all levels” that don’t deter players or become lackluster. In order to complete it we would realistically have needed at least the whole server in one ims.
And even then at average we would only be able to do 46 so that would mean we need 1667 starts to complete this.

Doesn't really take whales to score in the Iso Damage ALB. Just need to use your NX-01 and attack the highest aquatic interceptors you can kill maybe 10 a hull on with your iso crew. I am level 48 and was getting 1.5 Trillion points per kill in level 48 Xindi token space. Even the level 40's were giving about 200 Billion per kill, and I could kill a bunch of them. I just don't have the patience for that grind, Lol.

Frankly, if you are in, for example, the 10th ranked alliance, and expect to compete with the top 5 in an ALB, then the only thing wrong is your expectations.

To add to this, the loot for Cardy aremadas is used for alliance star bases, which have basically been abandoned by Scopely as a thing. Either make them relevant again, or stop pushing Cardmadas, which just wastes our regular directives. At a minimum, if they still want to run this event, add a group of systems for level 50+ players to get their grind on.

During the 2nd Lower Decks arc, the meta event we had to get Alonzo Freeman was easy to follow… we still had to do all of the SMS events on time to obtain the free officer, but it was clear what tasks were required and we could see our progress by looking at the meta event.

Events for the rare officer should be clearly understandable like that one, and not confusing like this one.

Now there’s an event to do two different mission chains, yet when I go into Holodeck to start the mission, “Academy of Paris Pt 1,” it says I need 200 Matrix Diode’s to purchase it. So even though I’ve already wasted money on holodeck currency, I still can’t access this mission. It says the Matrix Diodes are “earned through the Battle Pass,” yet nowhere in the battle pass are they given out, not in the free track or the elite track. So how am I supposed to access this mission so that I can complete the event?? This is getting to be beyond frustrating, not to mention I wasted money on the Wave Defense battle pass and can’t even join one without the game freezing.

Matrix Diodes were delivered via a gift chest at the beginning of the month, they regularly deliver it this way. Rarely have they delivered some from the bp rewards, and haven't done it at all lately. They gave enough for players to buy all the missions for their level. If you leveled during this month and no longer have enough diodes to finish your event, then you can ask CS about it. They may or may not help you.

I claimed a hostile grinding task immediately after the tournament started.
It did not start reporting the kills until I was more than a quarter done and had stopped showing that I had claimed the task.

Just give us a straight task list, and allow people to choose the tasks they can actually do. Please get rid of the whole Alliance Tourney Task reset dynamic, and replace it with a list of tasks that we can just choose from. Personally, i need the reroll, but they definitely need to do something about the task pool. My suggestions are:

1. either give each player their own pool of tasks or give each grade of players (g3, 4, 5, 6) a separate pool which excludes tasks they simply are not eligible for. In either case, less fighting over tasks and an overall better player experience.

2. when rerolling, the same task should not come up again for at least 5 to 10 mins. It was rerolled for a reason. I especially hate when you reroll a task and get the same task you were trying to get rid of.

3. remove the tasks that are unpopular. I can't imagine many people are accepting the 10k galactic recruit (among some others)

4. there are 10k tasks which give 25% of the credits of the majority of 10k tasks. Presumably this is because those tasks are easier? I disagree and feel all 10k tasks should earn the same rewards.

For example "Chaos Attack - SLB" For players to score high in this event we need to upgrade our ships like the SS Revenant to Tier 6 or the NX-01 to T7.

So because we are limited to lower "special" ship Tiers we cannot fairly compete in these events against players Ops 51+ and are losing out on valuable event rewards

Alliance tournament would be fun if we didn't have to constantly check for doable tasks, handicapped by limited rerolls. It's time-consuming and unrewarding. It also doesn't help that the task screen refresh is buggy and laggy.

My suggestion: get rid of the rerolls and limitation on the number of tasks available. Simply list all the tasks and their point values, and let people choose what to complete.

Also, it would really help if some tasks had a better explanation of what they require. It's still way too easy to select a task you think you can complete, only to realize you misunderstood what it was requiring.

Please do more in-game documentation so that we can spend more time playing and less time searching the web and updating so many spreadsheets. Breadcrumbs can be fun at times but they're no where near as effective as a map can be.

This isn't an event, it's a mystery. I know I need to complete 2 more SMS events but there is no indication if it's still completable, what to do if it is or what I missed if it isn't.

Instead of stating, "to complete this you will need to complete other things first" it would be much better if you could provide/list the actual names of those events. Bonus points if you would also indicate the dates/times when those events will occur.

Maybe the code you use for Missions and Q's trials, where there is a Locate button that takes you where you need to be could be applied here. idk, just thinking aloud. Simply having the list of missions w/their run dates would be a hugely welcomed QOL improvement. And, adding text to an existing text box seems like it'd be among the lowest of the low hanging fruit. Let's make it happen!!!

This „event“ scheme to unlock Icheb or Tuvok is, plainly put, crap. Distributing „success conditions“ over such a number of days, different events, claims, missions and stuff - and without the possibility to miss a single one (unless of course credit card) - that is not a real event, but a ruse to get people to buy stuff. Thats NOT what was meant when players asked for a monthly unlock of one rare officer.

The design decision extends to other parts of the game too, ticketed events award more crystal than the others.

In the past, bp awarded rss directly. Devs gave players choice in the rss they get from the bp. They converted all of the rewards into token with an exchange rate that produces roughly the same amount of rss as before if you spread out the token spend. They did not want to give additional access to mats that were not available previously, even if this meant that the unevenness between gas:ore:crystal ratios was preserved.

Nowadays, we have conversion exchanges. If you wanted, you're able to collect the higher crystal payout and make use of the converters.

Because the conversion exchange is an extension of the new p2p building/faction, so this simply furthers and encourages the cycle of features for $ - if you want the rewards to even out then convert the materials by paying into the DTI stuff… THIS makes sense now. I know this from the normal battle pass/Overflow, but it's always the same.
You have successfully completed everything, you are missing points, you report this to the support and ask for a credit and then there is either an answer that has nothing to do with the matter at all, or - even better - the support says that according to the log you have not completed an event and therefore you are missing the points.
Which is of course complete nonsense (unfortunately I don't take screenshots of every event)!

I’m so fed up with this game not working correctly, not issuing me the rewards I’ve earned, crashing consistently, and nobody ever seems to respond to any support requests. I just got robbed of yet another alliance tourney task that I started, but then wasn’t showing it in game. When I hit start again, it rerolled the task I’d already started, and penalized me for one of my 3 daily tries, and now I can’t even do the task again. This is the 3rd time this has happened, and I feel completely robbed of my chance to do well in the tourney. This happened a total of 3 times this tourney, and I am seriously fed up with it, especially considering how much money I’ve (foolishly) sunk into this game, only to be robbed by bugs and glitches on a nearly daily basis. Two weeks ago I bought extra event tickets in order to complete 9 and earn my “rare event tickets.” I did complete all 9, and never received my rare event tickets. You HAVE to do better considering how absurdly expensive all the packs and bundles are.

Waves are so stupidly laggy, arenas aren't any better, Starbase Assaults was a concept they just gave up on (heaven forbid you invested money or materials into primes or research). Alliance Tournaments. It is an absolute joke. Spend events in it feel heavily weighted, the interface itself is laggy both for events and for spending your currency - I spent 15 minutes yesterday trying to scroll down to buy what I wanted because it kept auto defaulting back to the top.

Trying to refresh tasks to get one you can do? Have to reload my entire game client to get new tasks. That's both on android and PC (both with fresh installs).

Now imagine trying to refresh the task list 20, 30 or 40 times because useful ones that are actually easy to complete don't ever appear?

It did used to work exactly that way, and it was extremely frustrating going there and getting killed 5 or 10 times for zero points because the game considered the other player as the attacker. So I have been not doing that event for a long time.

But my alliance mates mentioned that they've been completing it without attacking anyone. So you improved the functional logic of the scoring of that event, but you forgot to update the text in the event description. So it's inaccurate right now. Please get that text corrected.

So, this is the 3rd or 4th time it's happen to me (and it's also happened to another alliance member as well this time - but for me it's so long between it, that's why I cannot remember how many times it's happened). I remember last time it happen to others as well. Been involved in pvp, whilst the warchest is on. though, in previous times you didn't have to be involve in pvp to get the reward (when I had actually received it)!
I had also previously put it in that I had not received it in bug reports. Though I seemed have got ghosted when this had happened when this got put in. So, being a (monthly) event, I thought, even though it should more correctly go in bug reports, I thought I would put it in the events feedback.
Hopefully, before it finishes something can get done this time. Arena plays much better now. Because you can't use speedy ships for tactics anymore, you can just look at the still bad matchmaking and know exactly if you even need to think about undocking your ships, or not.
The real issue though is not the matchmaker. It is not the matchmakers fault that this game is highly unbalanced and you can get wiped easily, depending on what you bring to the table in terms of ops level, crew, pay-to-win-money and so on and so forth.

I'm a bit confused on this issue and maybe you guys can help me out. Under the Incursions Event store area, there is two types of coins, Incursion Coin and Incursion Coin 2. I'm not sure, and I don't want to waste, as you guys know this currency is hard to come by...but I'm have to assume that Incursion Coin 1 is for like the officer shard purchases and other attainable items, while Incursion Coin 2 is for the temp buffs.

Incursion coin 1 is for the exos, incursion coin 2 is for officers/fleet commanders et cetera in the incursion store.

The comp chest contained 20 incursion conduits, which are crossover tokens, and 300 incursion coin 1 to purchase exos for incursions.

The currency used for the incursion store itself is earned from the incursions.

Shields are not working correctly during incursions. I put an 8-hour shield up at 8:30 a.m. EST. It fell at 9:30 a.m. EST. Incursions have not started yet for my server but I was raided as part of server prep. If you are going to run incursions, shields should work flawlessly. I am in a level 1 system and lost 4 trillion in resources to do shield bugs

That I suggest a whale being raided with the amalgam effect going on. There are players with quadrillion of resources at the top end. One scoop is more points than some of the newer servers have the entire fight.

I have suggested it multiple times to limit the points of the amalgam effect to the max cargo of the ship itself. So instead of one scoop being 500 trillion points, it is 50 million. Or a single whale scoop worth 1.5 quadrillion points, it is 50 million.

All other points combined is ignored by a single scoop. In fact, as it stands now, a single scoop can change the outcome of almost any incursions.

I think that is the purpose of the amalgam, your supposed to find the biggest players you can and then raid them. Yeah one big raid can change the whole course of a incursions, but one more can flip the tables. That's part of the fun of incursions, it can change so fast.

If one player, 1 scoop, can change the outcome that much, then what is the point of incursions? There is a difference between working together to win and 1 person being allowed to tank it for the entire server. The benefit of the amalgam would be loot. Limiting points to the max cargo of the ship would make raiding more important than just hitting whales. Whales would still be the target but not because all it takes is one of them being hit.

Plus, it allows smaller players to contribute from their smaller raids. It makes all hits matter more.

We won yesterday because they had a whale get raided for 5 minutes and more than doubled our score. I was getting trillions per scoop and went from over 400 on the xslb raid board to 19th with just 8 scoops. In another incursions, we won in the first minute of incursion starting.

When are you going to "fix" or change the scoring for events like "Infinite Incursions - Champion XSLB" that allow someone to "farm" kills by organising them with the rival server to score high without any effort.
These people almost always have low damage scores on the other SLB but high kills.

This is clearly and without a doubt no matter how you look at it, against your fair play policy.

So the new arc just deployed on the servers (at least what's already visible of it):
Unfortunately you fail again to provide something that makes me wanna buy the new ship. Last month it was the same with the building. It looks a bit like you create a problem to have players solving it, but the solutions feels very unrewarding. Last month it was faction credits and some other stuff that don't really alter my gameplay at all. This month it's a new ship - which was created to solve the new foramtion armadas and provide help with krenim entities (we will see about that). Yet, what does the ship provide? It provides more faction rep and G6 ship BPs (for me). Both again things that aren't of real issues to me or my game experience.

Thus far questions remain. The Formation chests in the DTI store require hitting "ops appropriate formation armadas" but the formation armadas most likely also require an ops appropriate Relativity. At least the warp-lock suggests so. Eviscerator is an option... but seriously?

Here's a quick hint on what actually would improve my gameplay:

• Sigma Speed-Ups
• G4/G5/G6 Rare Ship Parts (lower G4 options lock out once you go G6)
• More Materials. Revenant certainly helps a lot!
• Features that are new and enjoyable and don't require a lot of group content.
• More Titan-Juice, since all the latest additions seem to heavily rely on the Titan (Arena, Revenant, Krenim...)
• Shortage of krenim directives (the normal ones from last month)
• Reliable Officer Sourcing!!!!

Buy yeah - for now, off to another dull arc with a feature we already had and a more than questionable ship.

Also: When the slider option makes you more excited than the actual content...
