Any time you tell players, "Let's see how it goes", you've lost the plot. Adding a disruptive feature that only a small handful of players worldwide may have asked for, and then not giving full details in advance is a sure sign that the devs are really not listening to the majority of players who have said time and time again what they would like to see added or fixed in the game.

I mentioned this in #989199925575311460 , so... On my system, the native resolution is 1920x1080. When I put anything in 1024x768, it shrinks the screen because my system thinks that resolution is only for widescreen. I can employ exclusive full screen to fix this, but I have other apps open that don't agree with that setting. Could higher resolutions be added on the PC version only to offset this? Most PCs use 1920x1080 or higher resolutions now, so this might need to be looked at soon.

Help me understand this... When you buy 3 chests of ore,gas,crystal in refinery and when are a there are a yellow box around it that says "+1 refinery batch" should that not relate to an extra chest? So you get 4 chests right? And if you got the prime Gas,Ore,Crystal. You should get and extra chest right? so in total 5 chests? I operate with 5. But with DS mining that is 3, with regular mining, that needs 1 or 2. With the speciality mining (data, lat, clat, iso, mycelium) that is another spot. And then you need 1 spot to hunt with. We have more daily activities than we have ship slots for. In theory, we would need 8-9 to do all simultaneously.

And for incursions, those who bought the extra dock have a HUGE defense advantage.

@tacit obsidian is there any way you can sort out the ambiguity with schedules? Events are always listed without a time zone, and usually seem to align with U.S. dates. Server maintenance is listed with the date and time in UTC.
Can we just get all dates posted in UTC? Take the incursion event for example, the dates listed for all servers is shown. APAC servers are mostly populated by time zones which put the start of this event on the 12th, not the 11th as shown in the screenshot. UTC time would correctly show the date for everyone, for them to convert it to their own local date/time.

Recently more red badges apeared in game (red circles with number), to point where they countered own usefulness.

Point in case: usually when you have badge on alliance it means one of few things:

• there is armada going on now
• there is an active takeover going on now
• there are purchase ally rewards to be claimed.

It made sense, you would use that to know if that menu has anything useful behind it to know.
Now its just allways on pointing towards often rotating useless to open menus that you do during your daily "click through menus grind" (why the hell is that a thing in first place?). Now that "notification badge" became perfectly useless for me.

Same happened to daily events. There is a badge = you completed milestone and need to of course go through daily goals menu to claim it (it would be to simple if it happened automatically, eh?), there isnt one = you good.

OF COURSE that had to be broken this way too.

And yes, I know, there is that thing in psychology that's called habit forming and Im aware that's in your interests to have these badges set up that way, but really... That's awfull setup

Give us a 2-4 day event, give us enough tokens to cross over 2 or 3 times with a time limit, when we are able to.

They could done this event a 1 month long 3 times a year, have a central tc zone with on either side normal space zones where each server port into (only those that want to participate, you port back and forth as much as you want to) that way they can stagger the amount of servers who have incursion event running at the same time, your home server carry’s on running as per usual with normal event but with takeovers suspended so that way it acts as a rest period for 1 month but then also gives everyone an incentive to get better zones during the 2 months you are back from incursion. In the incursion server you then have that one month period to run pvp events and the like and takeover battles towards the grand prize of the central 3* system that pay out winning server buffs for the following 2 months which make you want to participate…. This way the planning would be much more tactical. Do you each start at opposite sides and aim to meet for the final takeover battle or do be bold and start takeovers near each other and try to cut off the opposing side to take the 3* zone uncontested, if one server is stronger than the other with an obvious winner that’s still not a problem as the weaker server can go after the other 1* and 2* zones so that at the end of incursion each zone that each server has control of has a boost that they keep for the following 2 months so this way you have options and incentives, do you go for the 3* zone or do you maybe go for more of the lower zones for more and different type boosts…

I read this in our discord today:

1.Ships in bases are immortal. They just wont die even though your battle report shows you’ve killed all ships in the base. This made it impossible to raid any base with ships in them. It is super frustrating to find rich unprotected bases only to be hampered by this bug.
2.Base resources are infinite. This is probably a positive bug. If you do find a base without a ship in then you can raid it. The bug here is that your ship can carry the resources back to your base and you will get an increase in resources but the target base will not lose any resources. So you can raid all day fill up your base and the target base still has not lost a single bit of resources.
3.Resources raided from bases did not count. No amount of resources raided contributed to either your personal resources raided score nor the Infinite Incursions – Raider XSLB .

Hey Scopley, every good company aligns its actions with KPI's. Tracking of the number of kpi players with view of the past. This must be the most important KPI. Without players, scopley can do nothing. Many server merges, many messages here these are variety of players/source of income for scopley to finish the game forever. And why is that? Because hardly any content is good and it is the same boring story every month... plus a variety of events and in-game bugs that eliminate the rest of the motivation for the game... and a game manufacturer that does not give anything about the important feedback or is not able to perform at least enough for years @tacit obsidian

from a design perspective, each time a new resource is added to the game or pack in recruit section with special resources, it overrides what already existed.

Add more items that pertain to the section in the various stores across the header, there's plenty of room. I don't like having to go look in another section to see how many faction messages i may have in stock in the faction store nor wondering how many transport patterns or other recruit tokens i have when i am viewing the main store sections.

Why parsteel is even showing in the Gifts section header is beyond me.

I have been VP for a Few Million Dollar company's and never have I seen such poor cust service I lit contacted the in game Cust service, web site Cust service, eco and fluffy unicorn. My play time is 12 to 15 hrs a day and spend a fare amount of cash. They don't answer to after events are over Eco or Unicorn never answer and they never do anything to make up anything to you. @Eco I am not sure what you have done to the refinery but it has gotten much much worse. My 4* went from an average of 3 uncommons a day to 9 which is a huge boost. But considering every building needs 1000's, not even getting 1% a day is insulting and unacceptable.

Now, my 3* (4 batches, twice a day) went from an average of 48 a day to 15. 15!!! This is way unacceptable. This is game breaking unacceptable. Out of my last 2 days of double refineries, only 1 refinery netted more than 7. 7 is now about what I get out of 4 batches. 7 uncommon! I have had more batches in the last week that gave no uncommons than I have in the last entire MONTH. You need to fix the 3* refinery right now.

Between all the bugs, resource cuts, increased spend events, getting hosed om the treasury - last month I used broken rods to unlock the treasury and this month (same spending and everything) there is 130k more lat an 6k more uncommons and rares). What changed for those to have paid out so much more?

I am near the breaking point. There was no possible way to unlock 3 of the last 2 sets of officers without spending thousands of dollars on the game. Unacceptable. The multiple officer boards are great but not when you have spend to spend back to back or having to compete against whales who can carry a level 40 through 59 armadas. The game has gotten broken and the leaderboards are now only $$ boards. Saving and playing smart doesn't matter anymore.

And to couple that with the 3* refinery cut...it is too much. Please fix it asap

It was before your time, but last year Scopely sold a bunch of us packs with rare event tickets, and then shortly after stopped running events in which those tickets can be used. I’m sure Scopely didn’t intentionally engage in deceptive business practices, but that’s how it feels on our end. Plus, it discourages players like me from buying any more ticket packs, as I can’t feel confident I’ll get to use them.

I proposed to support that the rare tickets in my inventory be exchanged for an equivalent pack-value of regular event tickets. This seems only fair. Unfortunately that request was denied.

There is an issue with the defender event not scoring when you lose a fight. The team understands what is going on and are currently QAing the fix right now

You would think they would have developed bot accts to stress test the servers and mix a few employees in with their own devices to see if it worked. Maybe a couple months of re-tred storylines for us while you actually test the interfaces out for incursions and allied stations (whenever that is due up)

Speaking of not scoring... I haven't seen any official mention of the scoring problems all over during the last two nights... partially making it impossible for people to complete dailies...

Which events are you referring to Etelid? Did you have lag over the weekend?

ALL, last two nights aroung this time for roughly two hours (at least until I went to bed) scores were counted with delays of 30 minutes+, not a big issue on arc events, you get the points later, but if you don't get other events done you have to collect on before reset, well... if you lock into the event chat here in discord you might find multiple reports

cheers. game mechanics are uttlerly annoying in that regard, as even if your dailies do score, you need to wait another 30 minutes to collect your loyalty token and stuff. Not a major issue but definitely frustrating.

Hey @tacit obsidian can we maybe see if the art department can come up with some different ship models? There are hundreds of canon designs out there so it’s disappointing to see the same 6 models used for pretty much every new enemy.

Either via the alliance help button or the purple help tab there was a second tab along the top that you could jump to and see what you've received. Was great for tracking ship repair help recieved.

I’m with Oman66, the matching is a joke, yes I’m in apac, can’t do anything the pairing has basically a just ascended set, placed against ones that are far past that, doing anything is just a joke, can’t even mine to complete the battle pass.

Incursions is such a bad idea. Unless you are a high level whale you have no chance. Can't even get dailies done for the battle pass event because people keep showing up almost instantly and killing my ship. I paid for the battle pass too, so that sucks. You should give people a server to jump too to not be involved in the event as well. If this is a new game feature I will never buy a battle pass again or spend money in the game. But we know you don't care scopely. All you want is the whales to spend money

Not only that, but as a software architect I know how extremely difficult this sort of distributed programming can be. It's the hardest kind of software engineering. And you all nailed it.
