Nothing will happen with another post of describing the situation of the game. In my opinion scopely has no quality proof processes in the house and one software engineer doesn't understand the code from the other engineer to fix the bad code. Scopely has no idea to solve these problems.
As long people spend enough money into the buggy game - why is it necessary to go another way. If someone spent hundreds or thousands bugs into the game he/she wouldn't leave the game so easy. Scopely is milking the cow as long as possible.
The stupidity is not scopely alone, also the gamer who give money in such buggy game.
The game idea itself is not bad. I liked it a lot. I stopped playing 3 weeks ago because of the game quality, the amount of content and todo's and health reasons.
Scopely cannot fix the game. It's not their business. Stop spending money is the only way it could work. But then - Scopley will close the game. 🥳🤣

I am never Ever going to play another Pay to win Game they sucked me in with the Star Trek Theme but As I said Never again also I didn't know that Phone games were Pay to win when I started. After playing for a while spending a little here and there making friends etc.... I was more invested but I have never been a huge Spender. That said it feels like they really don't care to make the game better for players just making money. Looking at the war room comp chest, I'll say this:
Just run the dang event, 2 seals of kotal or whatever doesn't make up for the months of not having the event.
The comp itself was pitiful, insulting and down right disrespectful.
It's supposed to be a scheduled event and nothing new, it has run before and it ran well enough. Something screwed up and instead of trying to fix it earlier you focused on dumb grabthars hammer pack (which messed up as well) and other packs that don't add to the game.
I don't expect an apology and while it shouldn't be wrong to expect some betterment of business practices I will be disappointed if I do.

I just noticed that the 2 buy buttons for ex-borg common credits don’t work for the alliance tournament task. The 400 or 2800 don’t work when you only need a 1600. And before anyone says there other items to get. No there not enough.
Also really screwed up you cannot drop a task if you miss calculate the required currency needed vs what you have.

It's not possible to postpone incursion for US servers because if I have the river in my house now I will have the river in my house for days but this in not the reason: the most important reason is because there is a plan to deploy every event and every Arc until the end of the year.

Postpone incursion for US servers means cancel it for every US server or for those which have players with the river in their houses...difficult job in this moment with many game problems so for every US server.

Think positive: you can play the real Incursion event, only PvP, no raiding, only PvP old style

Hey Scopley, there are too many people affected by the recent storm. Many people in my alliance are without electricity, internet, water, gasoline and some have lost their homes. Alliance tournaments are the biggest failure released in a long time.
My alliance did not advance in emerald chain because in our league, we didn't place on the top, but had more points most other leaderboards below us and they advanced up several emerald chain levels. Another great product where money rules everything and ftp are hosed.

Here is my suggestion to fix this. Instead of brackets for emerald chain, make it a syndicate style advancement where each completed task adds points to the next level. Those that place in the top slot just get more store currency. Tie emerald chain level to store unlock level.

Also, add some low cost items for players to spend all currency insteady of losing hundreds because there is nothing to buy. A player could complete several tasks and still not have anything to buy.

1st. Scopely did a GREAT job with the alliance tournament store. These items were very worthy of inclusion and created some sourcing for F2P players.

2. Tasks still need to be worked on a bit. Amid the problems with the tasks completion, there were issues with the tasks themselves. For example:Mining x amount of resources should be a task. Additionally, Scoring needs to be adjusted for hostiles that have a level cap. For example, swarm is capped at 50 and it would have taken me 400 kills at my current level to complete a task. Also, while there are no issues with the premium 10k tasks overall, there does need to be a couple 'free' 10k point tasks available like there were in qualifying rounds, i.e acquire 500 epic borg solo armadas directives.

Additionally, with the quarterly store upcoming, just a couple of pointers to focus on.

The last quarterly store was geared entirely to much to paying players and that's ok to have a couple of events geared towards premium players, but the point of the quarterly store is to give f2p players a way to source things that make their lives easier.

Lastly, the Ion research particle was WAYYYYYYY over valued at 360K Chits last time. The research it enables is for 20% more damage and a litany of free researches do that and more. It needs to be about the same price as the cloaked racketeer token at 60K units.

Just some food for thought to help maximize the potential of this game over the coming months events.

While you cancel incursions again in the US. Take this time to improve scoring. Incursions is a raiding event. Raiding can get tedious and mind numbing. One whale, can and has, cost incursions for the whole server. Raiding as a pvp event is lind of ridiculous given it doesn't even count towards PD. How about pvp be worth more. Completing events on the other server worth a lot. That will even increase pvp. As someone who has spent money and this game and now refuses until you fix things. There are several of us. Bugs are becoming so common and the game unplayable. I'm surprised people have not started to sue you for it. People spend thousands on your game and you can't even be @ssed to bug test new releases. I have been in IT for many years. If they test their changes before putting them into production, most of all the errors and dissatisfactions from players would be minimized. Cancellations of missions, or competitions could be allocated accordingly. The way hot fixes has been installed, is an indication of lack of testing in their part. People will always complain about things, but negating the access for those affected by the hurricanes would be the same as cancelling incursion for the US because of the hurricane. If that makes sense…

I don't think that Alliance Tournament Credits should go poof when the store closes. In many cases it's impossible to spend every credit so being able to Bank the remainder is helpful long term (just like multiple other in game currencies). Sure, a player's League status will change over time for multiple reasons but even if there are different currencies for each League there should be the ability to track them separately. I'll give you a personal example. I have 2 low level (they just hit ops 18) accounts that I had in my own 2 player alliance to see the current new player experience. I had been in contact with another player seeking out players in small or zombie alliances to join their alliance (which wasn't able to participate in this tournament). I had spent most but not all of my credits on those accounts (I had a couple hundred credits that I had nothing to do with). After switching alliances, I found that the tournament stopped was locked (not that I could have purchased anything else).

The exponential bonus of this one time $50 purchase over one year of play was very worthwhile if you purchased it [ for just under the cost of one AAA title ]. If you click on coords in chat you will get one of two behaviors. If you are in the galaxy view or do not have vision of the system it will show the system in galaxy view.

If you are in system view and have vision of the system to coords are in, it will show you the exact location of the coords.

Ever since exocomps came out which is in my opinion one of the worse features of this game . Ships that are supposed to get max cargo don’t for they wind up getting effected by the stupid excomp that’s for the almagam , visor and dvor even when there is no exocomp activated. Excomp is one of the worst features ever I barely ever use any of mines. Found most either don’t work or don’t work the way there supposed to and many tend to activate when you never activate them. Concept idea is ok , but other then that a complete and utter failure a waist of time.

How game play goes for me on a daily basis: I log in, send miners out , collect everything that I can collect, start hunting. Then I decide oh I’m going to check something in research or refinery bam have to log out and log in because stuff ain’t working right. Try to switch systems bam again restart the game to accomplish that . When the game started almost 7yrs ago minus 2 months some odd days you used to be able to play non stop if you wished now days your reloading any were from every 3 minutes to every 5 minutes with maybe an average of 5 minutes actually playing the game in between. Yet many of the scoring tends to require an all day play just to achieve. I mostly play this as to not to disturb the wife while she sleeps so she can get plenty of sleep for her work as manager in hospital. If it wasn’t for that respect for her , her career and the patients she still deals with and her nursing staff I would be play on my console systems instead . That and building things as I like to do

I have tried to use 2 ships, 3 and 4: on PC client I got carpal tunnel and on mobile client I have lost my thumbs for minutes...tendon pain is something atrocious as cramps.

A player has not chance to reach the limit every day (maybe one day per week if he has immagination) manually because eyes, hands, back and HP of each body part does not recharge on daily reset.

Just an advice: every weekly event becomes useless after a few cycles if it is not updated (it seems Scopely doesn't like to rework old events, every old event like CoW, Mining Monday, Swarms, Eclipse, Discovery, Mega Cube, Faction Hunt, Bounty Hunter, cosmic cleanup) and even the rewards can risk accumulating.

It would be nice if you stopped the next BP and any new feature you have ready and use one full month to FIX the game. A lot of things are broken at the moment.

• When you kill a PvP fight, the destroyed ship does the warp animation
• The loot chest icon needs two clicks every time you are going to press it. One to remove a grayed out icon and then another to go to the loot chests.
• Earlier this morning, I sent my Talios to a borg system and couldn't attack the hostiles because it said that the ship wasn't in that system.
• When you use speed ups and less than 5 minutes are left in the countdown, you get a error saying that you cannot use the speed-up (free) for those last five minutes
• Lots of times you get kicked of a system view of your own alliance territory when you don't have ships there
• When you change the selected ship, a lot of times it shows that you don't have officers in that ship (when actually there are officers) and you cannot change the ship crew. You need to go to the main screen and return to the ship management to change the crew
• When you change the selected ship, a lot of times the inteface disappears and you only see the ship in the dock
• Now, all the clients hang up, even the PC client hangs up and you need to kill the application
  And those are only a few that come to my mind at the moment

Spenders are not punished. The syndicate xp continues to accumulate for when the cap is lifted. In addition, you get the easy armada event whenever they run a heroic or quantum syndicate event. These have become very common in recent times, and extremely difficult to even get a single MS f2p. The armada event, on the other hand, is basically free officer shards/premium mu shards.

I'd love to engage with the game more but I spend such an inordinate amount of time clicking buttons just to collect all the daily collectables that I run out of time before I can engage with the newer content that has come out. I'd probably spend more often if I had enough time to actually engage and play the game. Instead I just reach the end of my day, log out and go to sleep. There's no incentive to spend money on packs when I can't even participate in the content. loops due to the game having been designed to have us click endlessly in order to collect our rewards. I often don't feel like I'm even playing anything, it's become more of an app I login to so that I can perform a series of tedious tasks, in order that I can login tomorrow and repeat clicking on those same tedious buttons. TLDR: STFC desperately needs More Game and Less Claim

We’ve been trying to do waves for days now (s86), every time we try the lag is so bad we can’t complete them and we have to quit. Bad lag, hostiles disappearing, just a total failure. We’re losing out on the creds we need for daily pulls bc we literally can’t wave. Please do something about this. Lots of things in this game "do the same thing," but for these researches, the requirements to tier one are different from the other. Doing it this way prevents low ops players from getting high performing bonuses from one research, and the same for low ship development players from getting the other. As to whether this is truly impactful for players? I doubt it, but the design is sound.

I like the game of at least the brand name of Star Trek. I have been playing this stfc since it launched almost 7 yrs ago. My curiosity keeps me playing despite all the broken features of the game. It’s my longest ever play of any phone game, I’ve quit many after 3-6 months just out of boredom with them. Boredom not because I find them boring it’s just I perfer playing on PlayStation. The main thing I like about this one over the others I played on phone is the pace . I don’t feel like I really have to rush unlike others . The down falls in this is your far more limited on what you can buy with in game currencies and you really get screwed big time on what you get from refining for your all day mining. Though the biggest issue is it’s so broken and keeps breaking all the time and instead of taking time to actually fix the game it’s bandaid fixing and additions that just break the game further and further make it harder to find and fix the core problems with the game. As a gaming company and parent of the game you are basically being bad parents not taking proper care of your game aka baby. As parents and pet owners we are responsible for our babies just as much as your responsible for your game which is your baby as a gaming company.

Voyager might take longer but that’s due to how much you can actually mine and probably could be achieved if you buy its way up and buy your way up. I think one of the main reasons no one really likes doing mirror universe is: 1) you have to pay for each rift to go through
2) navigating the rifts to get to one you want or need is a pain
3) adnd lastly the amount of time you can spend in them

juuuust enough to make sure there is another tier of ships above the starter available on the other team to kill you without a scratch. 40 --> facing up to 47 (whooped by G4 rare in your G3 ships if you just started at ops40), 46 --> facing up to 53 (G5 slapping your G4 silly), 53 --> facing up to 60 (G5 epics and the cube dominating everything below and especially you in your G5 unc), 56 --> facing 63 (G5 rare v G6 unc).
So no matter what level you are, there's always a bigger fish ready to make sure you spend to try and get stronger which then in turn means you face even bigger fish. Non-ending loop purposely designed to make it frustrating.

The fair thing would be to keep it at the SAME ops level or limit it to ship class, but that wouldn't generate the same sales...

We’ve been talking about this for years and you go and give us a giant bright green button that’s far too easy to hit (and far too harsh on the eyes) and no means of unselecting the ones we don’t want to claim? Please, please, during the inevitable maintenance to try and sort out this maintenances bug, please, take the game down for a little bit longer and fix as much as you can. Take it down for 24 hours if you have to. Sure up the code, clear the old junk out. Stabilise the game somewhat and THEN bring it back. I imagine there would be complaints but imagine the gratitude you will recieve after the games becomes infinitely more playable. PLUS while you are there. Tripple check this new ship stuff/event stuff. Chances are there are some more bugs hidden in there... please 🙏🏻

I am never, ever going to intentionally press that button. And it takes 20% of the screen on mobile. Without anyone asking for it, or scopely giving us a way to turn it off.

What does Scopely and a washer machine have in common? A cycle! Washer machine fill, wash, drain and spin and repeat a few times. Scopely fills you with hope and agitates you, drain you of hope and get stuck on spin cycle with customer service.

@raw fiber I see what I would call a big issue with the upcoming Arena Combat feature.

On my server there are multiple alliances with less than 5 members. If I read correctly, Arena Combat requires 5 players from each participating alliance.

How are these alliances supposed to participate in them?

@tidal notch @raw fiber My alliance has 1 g6 player. Been with us for almost 18 months since the day they rejoined the game. If DJz was accurate, they can't participate in the new arena because there is no one else in the alliance within 7 ops levels of them.

Are you asking them to leave our alliance, or can you work on removing the ops banding or the alliance restriction (a la waves)?

I'm beginning to wonder if Scopley has a certain monthly cash projections, and when the player base doesn't meet said projections they start shutting off features and breaking things until the projections are met?
