Actually defiant takes longer since you can’t claim defiant every day for a couple reasons the first being you can only claim once every 2days the second being you can only claim if you have enough diplomacy tokens to do so. At least titan A is once every day if you have the borg credits to do so .

You can claim it every 22h, same timer as the Titan, though depending on your ship levels and Ops Levels (for the Rare/Epic pulls) it might not be feasible. But yeah, the xB refinery is a lot more guaranteed if you want it you can get it, but it's also a high percentage of the xB credits which can be used for a lot of other really good research

The story behind is this: they prepare more things for the event store and they want to make a record sale to please the new landlords and show them what they buyed. As most players keep stashed the coins, they found the most disgusting solution to wash a large portion on player coins.

The ticket was closed, no action was apparently taken, and the player is still making inappropriate comments left and right. Does Scopely just not care about their Terms of Service or creating an inclusive environment?

Scopely might give a chat ban but they do not enforce tos anymore. Haven't for a few years now. And it is reasonable to speculate if that player is a spender Scopely will ignore you. They even get mad when you prove tos is being violated. The horrid customer service is one of the biggest reasons I quit spending anything on this game.

The event actually went fast as long as you can get the armadas, got it done in two epics, and the hostile one went fairly fast, even being hunted by a couple alliances, the main issue is just the armada respawn timers and lack of systems for higher level ones

Over the past few months, lag, latency has progressed to an unplayable state, I can't remember how far back the issues started. A key to the software development process is to build a better version each release, or you go back to the last known working source.

Since they do not adhere to normal ethical standards, I see nothing but disaster in the near future. I'd suggest you all hold on any purchases you might regret.

When you don't have the ability to return to the old working code, since you're releasing garbage on top of garbage, it progresses to an unusable source by nature.

So let's say we are on rev 5.2.3.4 and the bugs started in 3.2.1.2 you'd have to go back to that old state. They won't do that as you'd lose your titan or something else. I'm afraid it's too late for any quick fix. It's progressed too far from the last known working version.

What they'd have to do is go back to the last known good source and re-apply all that's been done since that date. Or try to patch up the severely broken version.

The only hope is that it's AWS performance issues and they can pay for better performance. I think that's a long shot and it involves them reducing their profits. So the likelihood of that happening is near null.

I'm not optimistic about anything at this point. I'll check in to apply a shield, kill some enemies, and simply log off if I'm not seeing any changes here. The events aren't worth your sanity.

I started playing this game when it first came out. I like it and even like so@e of the changes. I’ve even spent several thousand on it which I normally don’t do for any phone game. But over the years scopley greed has spoiled the game with their strong arm tactics of forcing people to spend on a game that advertises free to play and free to win. Very few things keep me playing nowadays. Mostly play more out feeling obligated to just to feel I got my moneys worth. My days of spending on this is over though . Much rather spend the money on a new PlayStation game or season pass then on this anymore. My interest in this game is about 40% now and dropping.

Where do you figure that? Your math needs work. The hardest part to maxing one is needing to upgrade ops. The rest is easy. You have ops locks so max it until you hit one then use your probes on the credits and directives. If you do it wisely you are still saving charged probes while you do that so when you can start upgrading it again you get to the next ops lock fast.

Just in case anybody at Scopely actually bothers to read what players post here (or even care).

Loot Chests: Why are they still giving out 1 or 2* rewards when players are way past that stage of the game? Make rewards more relevant to a players level.

Ship Parts: Is there really any need for the refinery to be so stingy with what it gives out? 4* ship parts are way too slow to obtain and a massive bottleneck in the game.

3*, 4* Gas/Crystal/Ore nodes: Another unnecessary bottleneck. Is it really that big of an ask to just add more of them? There would still be PvP and it would maybe reduce the queues for nodes and reduce gameplay frustration if there were more of them. There are countless systems with parsteel, tritanium etc that nobody mines! Why not change them to a more useful resource?

Bajoran Faction: Who decided it was a good idea to make players grind hostiles to collect one currency, then use that to obtain another to then use to increase faction rep? It's ridiculous. Why not just allow us to increase Bajoran rep by killing Jem'Hadar and Cardassian hostiles?

Alliance Reputation: Surely it would make more sense for rep to increase with alliance contributions or clicking the help button for other players and for there to be player and alliance rewards for those that stay loyal to their alliance.

Game menus: Please can we have a 'return to game' button so we don't have to keep pressing the back button to get back in game?

Notifications: Can we have options to choose what in-game banners we see? I don't need a banner telling me I've just defeated a hostile - I know I did, because I was there!

In-game purchases: How about some Ex-Borg research that massively improves the cost efficiency of rip-off packs in the store? Seriously, though, if you want my money then stop trying to rip me off. I do have disposable income that I could spend on this game, but I refuse to because your pricing is simply ridiculous and laughable.

Overall a merge improves the game. It creates other problem but a low population server isn't much fun.

yes, actually, for example, there are reasonably frequent days with multiple instances of 'low orbit flyby', and i generally only crew enough to guarantee success and max crit chance in those cases. the point however is that it's perfectly valid to be sending out 1 or 2 man crews on 3slot missions if you're doing a whole bunch at one time, and indeed it may be the only way someone can do all the missions they want to run at one time. what you're suggesting would just slow down getting them all started by adding another, pointless barrier screen to be clicked through multiple times.

it kinda depends on the mission and on what you're trying to get out of them. like, sometimes you get more of what you're after out of going over the 100% on one, sometimes you'd get more of what you're after out of running two seperate missions, maybe you're chasing multiple things from multiple missions and there are multiple missions requiring the same stat, or the same trait, or you're reserving an officer to use on crewing a ship later on in the day because you only have so many speedups and the mission wouldn't be done by the time you'd need the officer, etc. also the 'if below 100%' condition would be fine, although i think an option in settings to turn the popup on or off would probably be better.

I just opened my second monthly box, got 645 broken desealing. giving me a total now of 1800. The remaining 2200 will take me 3.5 months, so basically rounding it up to four months. So a total of six months, more likely 7 months to earn a key. The event is pretty much useless if don't or won't pay one hundred dollars. But it gets completed because the points are automatic as you perform dailies and events.

@lime socket This is my Event window with the Battle Pass event for today. You are right the one yesterday was a unity event and again I completed it. Notice in today's BP Minna posted her total points to complete were in the millions, mine was 105, so there must be some difference in what a higher level player gets than a lower level. And the 320K reward does give 360 broken desealing rods. But notice that even though I complete Every BP event for this Event, I only have227.5K points I am two BP daily events away from completeing the 20 days, There are only six days left. Even though I complete all the six days daily events, I still won't get but an average of 19K per day

The points needed are the points needed to complete the event: Minna has a harder event as she’s higher ops. The rewards from each daily milestone event (bp points) are identical for everyone. 227.5k is the correct total after finishing todays event, you are on track and should reach the 320k for the overflow if you complete the remaining events.

Feedback: this is one of the worst arcs in a long time. The features are dull, the total event store loot is low compared to prior event store months, and the event store offerings are stale. This feedback has been provided before - be better about communicating with your clients.

It appears that Scopley personnel are not all on the same wavelength. One department asks for suggestions for items to be added to the event store, getting the community all excited; another department decides to pass the buck to a CC to let the community know that there will be NO additions to the event. After all the primes and research and everything spent on refinery, getting nothing but commons, at 46+, especially with full pulls, is beyond wrong. This needs to be fixed and addressed.

Every chest should give a minimum amount of uncommon+ based on level of refinery. Even if it is just 1 per level, per batch, per chest from when you can refine it, it is something.

It doesn't matter of you upped the uncommon amounts by 1000% when you get 0...0 x anything is still 0.

At this point there's no way they don't know about the lag and all the issues with any event that makes you hit eclipse hostiles/armadas. Scopley keeps ignoring the blatant issues with the lag/apex events, and a large list of other stupid things. The only reason any of this will actually be addressed or fixed, is if it actually starts costing them money/profits. We don't get new arcs or content every month out of the kindness of their hearts. The devs are made to focus on rolling out cash grabs. Bug fixes, or just general fixes to the dumb stuff that needs to be fixed(like assaults and Starbase mechanics for example) , all that is at the very bottom of their list of concerns. It's sad, but it's the truth. Ok, anyways, after that long story... in regards to the above screenshot, yes, it's possibly lag. But at the same time, some people (like myself), have an insane amount of Mudd Mada launch credits. For example, I have like 20k+ unc Mudd mada launch credits piled up. Mostly because I hate the Apex/rogue content, especially since the rewards are pretty sucky for higher ops(the rewards still think we are playing the game in 2021, and not 2023. They do not reflect proper rewards for high ops ppl, like 5* mats). With that said, just to get the event done faster(especially with the lag, and the stupid fact that everyone in the server piles up in Lindstrom to do this event)...I will randomly launch an unc mada on top of others, just simply for the event points.

TLDR: Why fix the old crap, when making new crap is more profitable. Also, some people have a ton of Mudd mada credits saved, and just launch for points.

All the feedbacks have been about adding new apex systems and more armadas. When the entire server is crowding one system the game is bound to lag. Besides the event is quite useless if the game keeps lagging like this. It lags on every device even on a fully loaded gaming pc. Either get rid of the lag by upgrading and investing in your VPS or get rid of this stupid thoughtlessly put event.

There is no credit to be given if the event wasn’t thought through. I have used it on my 2022 Mac and on a fully loaded PC along with my iPhone on a gigabit internet connection, 5G data and all. They do not have an infrastructure to organize such an event so they must not go ahead with it until they upgrade their infrastructure for it.

The hardware is too weak and the server code not optimized and multithreaded enough. The game client also has a multithreaded lag issue where they aren't probably using the unity job system to run code properly in parallel.

I'm on a 10Gbit att fiber connection with a 10Gbit card in my PC and a 1Gbit Ethernet adaptor on my iPad Pro. The game was near unplayable for a few hours.

Apex SLB should be auto-join, unless I'm missing something. There is no "negative" reward on it (like lost rep for the daily faction ones), there's not even rogue rep (which you could want to slow down when you are starting your stella grind because security codes are a pain to grind without stella and you want to keep the cost at the 1k/2k), so why is it not auto-join?

There are almost always 27 total ticketed events in any month, and they give enough free tickets to do 9 of them. If you want to do more, either have to hoard tickets or buy a pack.

That was from an Ultra recruit chest, but I also did odficer pulls in the Augment and Eclipse faction stores too, specifically for the event, only to find when I went to check how far up the leaderboard that had got me, that none of the points (which would have been quite a lot) from those officer shards had counted, thanks to a "Join Now" option that makes no sense.

Other than that I do like the changes to the Apex events.

A choice of badges, rather than a lucky dip, would make it even better, since I need a lot of command badges desperately and keep getting everything but those! But all in all the changes are good, so long as they get rid of the Join Now opt in, and they add more systems like Lindstrom. 👍

The game has been crashy (roughly 10-12 crashes per day) for a few months now. Is this on the radar? I’m on iOS 14 and crash every time I open the Bajoran faction if more than 5 minutes of game time have passed. Localization does not help.

I can confirm all clients have a memory leak, the longer I play on Android and PC clients, the more it gets worse. Having the client need to crash / restart every few minutes / hours, telling the consumer to clear localizations, etc. are all "band aid fixes". They will need a full code rewrite to fix it though, and they're not going to do that, so enjoy the buggy game.

the sarcophagus ship at tier 2 says it needs an uncommon black fleet memorial to upgrade the warp drive, which you can get from the sarcophagus forge.
the sarcophagus forge says it produces materials for anyone lvl30+.
nowhere does it say you need to be level 34 to use any of this.
the upgrades that use the materials from the forge start at tier 3, and to get to tier 3 you need a material the forge doesn't give until you're level 34.
that's a large amount of isogen we would have spent on other things if the game actually said anywhere that it was only useful for lvl34+ instead of saying it's for lvl30+.

When you first get to ops 40 and have a ton of researches that need them to go ahead and you haven’t gotten any of the forensic investigations yet, yep those honors are a bottleneck. But in a month or two it flips. I have enough merits of honor now for like 10 researches but only enough regular ones for maybe 4. Sorry I mean a hundred researches not 10 for the merits of honor.

the amounts of service awards you need per research goes up exponentially and the merits dont increase like crazy. I have 1.1m service awards which is good for about 3-5 research, i have 8,237 merits of honor which is probably good for about 70-80 researches. just takes time, you eventually get bottlenecked on the service awards so you're stuck waiting and accumulate the merits of honor. a good way to get a lot of them is using Kras and upgrading a couple of his traits, gets you a pretty decent crit chance on the mission so you build them up quickly.

The "Other" right now is a mess, with important things like Armada directives, Armada Credits, and Warp Tokens there (which I frequently want to check how many I have), but clogged up by a bunch of trash, including coins for past events and mission items (Khan can you PLEASE take this remaining black matter? I don't need it thanks). C'mon RPGs have a "Key Items" tab for this type of mission items since the 90s 😠

Try running SNWPike, SNWUhura, SNWUna/Hemmer/SNWLa'an/Lorca against them. I can get mostly a full cargo on 37s at level 39 level lock

I have been using SNW Pike Uhura Hemmer but I think it's clear the big difference between our experiences is the prime.

It probably depends more on generic research especially hull. With a t3 talios and snw pike/uhura/5, plus ghalenar and fc Kirk’s ability, I could get about 1.2m on the 36s, which was 50% more than the cargo in my vidar even with all the cargo officers I could get away with. No prime. But I’m at ops 44 so probably have a lot more bonuses than you.

Yeah, the OG Vi’Dar will pick up loot a lot faster with the easy access to the loot Exos, I still use it if I don’t feel like spending the time grinding out 37s with 5of11 (get like ~800k per run with that crew, ~1MM with full SNW, probably full cargo vs 36s at T4 Ops 41). Edit: Hugh below decks helped a lot vs the 37s

reviewing those Primes, the Prime Vi'Dar Cargo is now absolutely obsolete - no one with access to rare 5* ore is still going to be running the Vi'Dar vs the Talios. It should be updated to apply to both ViDar (keeping old ViDar just for people who already have it) and Talios

If servers need to be merged, and I can understand the reasons, you should at least remove inactive accounts from both the merging servers.
I also read that you would increase the number of mining nodes, but considering every where I look all the nodes are full, it would appear that nothing has changed.

PvP in this game is 100% P2W. Alliances with no whales have zero, absolute zero chance, against alliance of whales. Change the PvP combat to not be exponentially in favor of ship strength and allow non-whales to be able to compete.

Uncommon skill points are refined into the fc specific skill points and then used to level up skills. Leveling up commanders uses commander xp, not uncommon skill points.

We need additional ways to obtain GAS, ORE & CRYSTAL in the game. It is such a bottleneck on many things with the low quantities we can obtain. @royal solar @tacit obsidian please fix apex so that the contraband chest is actually useful when it comes to contraband. Most players are only going to get 500 contraband chips with th3 cheapest item starting at 1000. So it will take 2 weeks to get a single item pull. 2 WEEKS. For the hijacked ships, it would take 3 weeks for a single pull....something you can get every day from the argument store...and not just 1 ship bp but ALL 3 ship bp's, every day, for the cost of 1 bp for 1 ship every 3 weeks!!! Unacceptable.

My suggestion would be to increase minimum rewards to 1000, 2000, and 3000. Lower th3 cost of the assimilated stella skin to 1000 and drop the cost of the hijacked ship bp's to 50 but limit the pulls to 1 a day. But, honestly, with the scrap returns on hijacked ships vs regular...it is not worth it other than novelty. Now, if you increased the scrap rewards for the hijacked ships, or added other items to the apex store (more skins, projectiles, refit, cloaking, etc) you could do sooo much more. In fact, you could turn apex into a weekly $$ maker by expanding the slb to include more ranks but slightly less rewards and sell stella armada packs. This will give players a far greater sourcing option.

One thing the heist loot contraband chest needs is INDEPENDENT CREDITS. It would also be nice to add minor accommodations as well. We need more badge sourcing. Or. Even better, add minor accommodations to to apex store to purchase with contraband chips.

This is a great mechanic and tool IF you utilize it correctly.

If you really want to up the monthly arcs, add a small event store every month but have generic credits instead of specialty credits that are lose it or use and just take up item slit spaces.

First I agree t2&t3 iso should be added to at least deep space , reason is this not all alliance can even get tc and some don’t even want tc since it’s one more thing to worry about watching.

For supposedly listening and fixing grind times you sorely failed there since grinding is far worse now then it ever was. You have lots more to grind for then what you used too . Points are set twice as high so you have to grind even more . All to get a small handful of rewards you can generally count on one hand. Still can’t phantom why so many she’ll out the $100 for so little programming content . Heck a brand new full game with far more programming content on it only cost $70 and you can buy collectors edition ones for just a little over $100 with sales tax which gives far more then any of your $100 packs. I much rather by a brand new game at GameStop then waiste $100 here. Heck $20 I can get season pass for games dlc content on PlayStation and get basically fully games worth of content. So you should be ashamed of your over priced content

I don’t know about everyone else but around every update time and server merger ( weather it’s my server or not) I always get major lag times , error messages , time outs and kicked out of the game multiple times a day. It’s when you at scopley are doing these things that i experience these the most. When your not doing these it’s when my game has the least amount of issues and runs the smoothest

Most satisfying part of the game for me is when I manage to beat mission ships and complete missions. Do love the solo armadas though at present still not able to beat any rare solo armadas at my lvl with ships I have . The rares I have found solo armadas wise just way to strong so I just don’t do the stupid events that call for rare and epic ones only. I don’t like waisting precious rate and epic armadas for nothing. I’m sure I’m not the only one there. So kindly put armada events back to counting uncommon as well thank you.

Lol what’s with these ridiculous away team mission times , most mines regardless of being common or rare or epic or uncommon are over several days now. Then I get a redundancy of mission rewards that I litterly just gotten. I’ve had every away tech at my lvl I can do done except those that require the epic merit of honor medals since January and from that time to now I’ve only seen twice in away team missions those rewards. Once I got crit success the other a failure, but I’ve seen the blue star charts 20 times back to back literally without changing. So annoying especially when the only way you can progress in awayteam tech is by the epic merit of honor medal 🏅. Random wheels can be nice but if it’s linked to whole server and not individual it can be a worthless junk we’re some get the worst stuff and others the best stuff all the time. Super disappointed with the 4* faction miners. Tier 5 and it’s almost on par with a max 3* faction miner. Really would have expected it to be on par by tier 3, given how much of a pain they are to get, upgrade and the unbelievable pain of levelling up

Miners really need to earn xp by mining. I don’t know how these ships are supposed to earn millions of xp when their armour is paper thin. Can’t stand up against even basic dark space enemies

Leveling them is a pain yeah, I just left it in augment space over a few days. Considering how few ds reds they can kill before repairing and the cost of the repairs, it definitely doesn’t seem worth it to actively grind them up.
