I understand power creep is really hard with a p2w business model, but you should seriously consider rebalancing officers. With the introduction of strike teams, you have virtually removed all nuance to pvp. Buffing some underpowered officers not only might allow for increased variety, but might actually increase sales on your end. Might not even have to tweak officer abilities, but maybe just tinker with stats.
For example, Mitchell is pretty much useless for everything but aways. Why not improve his stats if you're unwilling to improve his officer ability? Or add lower deck abilities to existing officers?
I worry that if you just keep creating officers that require full synergy to function and then are massively overpowered when they have full synergy, your just going to demoralize people repeatedly.
