You want them to notice, then organise a spending strike across multiple servers. Stop the income stream, then and only then will Scopely act.

We have had players attempt the new armadas and die because they didn't know they could send three ships. Please put the info in the game ASAP. The game increasingly bores me, I must say. Scopely's approach to add massive amounts of daily duties with every arc - will kill the game for me. Last arc(s), one type of hostiles that you have to shoot for half an hour and now this arc where the first day (24 hour events) drained an hour of my time. Come up with something new and interesting without forcing us to spend more time.

Adding more factions, currencies, and grinding events don’t make this game better. Creating gameplay by moving this game from a shell to something actually that contains skill and/or exploratory content will make this game better. Try consolidating the factions, currencies, events, and try adding actual playable mechanics and content. Let us land on planets to explore and meet civilizations and ponder whether to violate the prime directive.

So for a few years now, your player base has bee asking for less currencies. Now with the new event I need to watch videos by content creators outside of Scopely to get a vague understanding on how the gazillion new currencies added this arc (probably) work.

Oh, second point of feedback: STOP RUNNING EVENTS THAT REQUIRE SPENDING TO FINISH.

All, while I understand what Scopely did to fix todays reputation event. There is a big problem with it’s fix. I was one who bought my daily allotment of reputation prior to the fix. And while it is true that I will be able to complete it prior to reset tomorrow, it means I now have spend double the badges to complete it compared to those who didn’t do it until after the fix. This matters because we also need those badges to buy directives and favors, and now I will have 100 less badges to spend compared to those who completed after the fix. To make this right, Scopely needs to send 100 badges to those who completed it before the fix or they have to figure out a way to complete the event for those that did it prior to the fix without requiring those people to buy reputation twice to complete the event. @tacit obsidian

This is 100% false. We've had 35s in our Alliance take them out with a Mayflower, Saladin, ViDar combo. They did it with 4.9m power. You need to get your ship power up and crew properly if you want to do the solo armadas.

Seems like the natural progression? Augment had 3 currencies to do two things, Rogue has 3 currencies to do 4-5 things. Bajorans have 3 currencies to do many things?

The resetting of alliance reputation when one leaves an alliance ruins a major element of the game. Visiting other alliances and meeting people there is a major part of the social dimension of this game. In addition, it adds cross-alliance communications and supports the building of friendships. All this is lost now which impacts my game experience significantly.

Scopely, please rethink this and maybe change the reset scheme: For example, keep alliance reputation for e. g. one week before it is resetted. When the player returns before the week is over, reputation is preserved.

This grinding for multiple currency’s needs to be looked at. Thought it was going to be less time in front of the screen. Instead of adding new ways to make more money, let’s use some imagination and make stories for what we have and add new slowly. Every 6 weeks it’s a new currency, new grind to make it and a bunch of packs for whales. Let’s elaborate on stories and have the bundles assist those. Almost done here as there’s SO MUCH that needs to be done to compete. For god sakes I just got an enterprise and auger and been on daily for 4 years.

The grind loop for the new faction. All new armada grind that you can’t get help from the alliance on for higher end armada hits, can’t earn rep and credits from the same pulls, it’s one or the other, plus researches tossed into the faction itself as items you have to choose instead of faction advancement of some type through armada directives. There is no “and” in this faction store, and frankly that is artificial delay built in to make people either buy the packs or just give up on this.
Also, don’t forget they literally just gave us an armada-based content loop a month ago that already seems on the back burner.

Like the added galaxy research tree extensions with all their new currencies, this is a set of content meant to take even casual spenders more time to complete than this game likely has left in it as a supported and updated game.

Worthless officers : Tasha yar ( broken no good against yellow missions bosses) , all the officers designed for base defense are worthless unless you keep them on a ship and it at base. I’m sure others can actually name all the worthless officers. Heck you only even give one officer actually designed for dealing with mission bosses and she is broken

No grind in any game should take longer than a year or maybe just above that. We have the D'Vor (more than a year and still going for T9), the Disco to T9 (time gated to last too long), the Cerritos (time gated to last too long), the Stella (scrap a Legionary for the primes to make bearable), etc. There are too many grinds for a game that's supposed to be a casual distraction and not a full time job. People aren't even running Cardassian armadas regularly because they're a pain to deal with anyway.

Another grind machine that takes away more time to get done. Why is scopley constantly add new mechanisms and new mechanics that we have to grind to build when we haven't even gotten all the original content. And on top of that make it so it takes at least 8 hours of play time just to make sure all the grinding in covered. New stuff again and still we have lag issues that are not being addressed, stuck ships, data errors, ship repair glitches and many other issues that have been going on for years and haven't been addressed or fixed.
8 hours a day and thats a slow grind.... it has become a second job for some people.

So WTF is up with shields in the last couple days? I popped a 1 day shield this morning and now have 5 hours left. Yesterday I had 4 hours left on my shield and came back to being raided. I even got a notification 4 hours later that my shield was expiring.

Multiple reports from others in my alliance and server stating the same thing: Shield timers being incorrect. Not just dropping due to pvp but losing chunks of time out of them.

DJz had some people from game design on his show today and they were pretty transparent about ops 35-39 essentially having limited access on the new content. I actually really appreciated this as an ops 39 because now I KNOW what is somewhat expected as far as in game progression. with ops 49 i have to kill 6-7 lvl48 armadas or 5-6 lvl50 (what is not possible for 99% of the players who just stick with 1 faction, and need warp160 where no non g4 can reach...). Solo armadas IMO is very good mechanics. The thing that frustrates me is only 1 per day. There is already a limit at the faction store which can be use for monetization, please allow a bit more for us interested to explore this feature. And this is general grief with many recent changes, on introduction of several mechanics multiple limitations are added. Even some existing like loot boxes are introduced on old ones.

This new mechanic added this month is interesting. The only issue I am having is having enough time to complete everything in this game within 24 hrs. There needs to be things added to make it easier to complete task. For example, you have a vidar skin that can help, yet the event to get it doesn’t come all the time and it’s not that many shards you get when it comes. Some other features are way higher in the syndicate ladder. Long story short, as more mechanics are added, there needs to be a balance of tools that help you finish the dailies faster. Such as the Franklin A where you get 3 hits counted in dailies for every one hit

Can anything be done about the Antique Refinery payout? The cool-down period between refines is 5 days, and you’re not even guaranteed a Lucrative 3* Transwarp Cell, which is the whole reason people use the refinery these days. I’ve used 2 in the last 10 days and only gotten a grand total of 3 regular Transwarp Cells. If all I got from the 3* material refinery was common 3* mats, why would I bother refining? We need a guaranteed 3* Lucrative Transwarp Cell if we have to wait 5 days between refines.

This arc has seriously made alot of us finally consider quiting.

I only purchase the extended battle pass each month and why the hell would you this month? Ud have to be stupid.

I'm level 39 and the rewards are 12 uncom and 27 uncom.. they use to be over 200 or 300 uncom as a reward. By completing the entire arc and also getting battle pass, I wouldn't be able to do 1 upgrade on my aug.

On top of that half the events so far you cannot complete without spending money.. we are second biggest alliance on server and most of our 50+ players aren't even doing the events as they'd have to spend money to complete

For me personally lowest solo amarda is 22 power and my best 3 ships add up with 5m.. do they just expect anyone under level 40 to just miss an entire month arc??

They are making the rewards so bad that if you want to play and upgrade you must purchase multiple things and spend 100s of euros.

They are completely killing the game and they won't listen . L

What's bad as well is the support never fix anything! My game has been zooming in random and you need to restart the game for weeks.

Also an entire incursion it added 0 raid to my raid score on server. I finished 1st in event. Raided over 110b and it rank and score never moved. Supports reply

Here is a very simple solution that I know your dev team could put in play fairly quick. Add exos, similar to the amalgam plunder exo, to the eclipse store, borg refinery, and swarm refinery that speed up those grinds in the same way amalgam gets boosted by its exo. With that mechanic, someone could do one hour a month in each of those grinds to get enough loot to use through the month like we do with amalgam. This would free up time to focus on these new grinds without breaking the mechanics or existence of the older loops at all. Simple exo mechanics that dramatically increase loot gains for an hour would take care of it. Easy fix from a dev side and addresses the time-sink issue. Just a thought. Same could be done for augment data mining too, tbh. @weak marten @civic slate

There is something seriously wrong with your account if your best three ships only equal 5m power at Ops 39. Have you been lagging on your research? Don't have an epic ship? I ask only because three of my non-epic ships would be more than 5m power, and I'm only ops 36. Something is off there... In any case, the game is a marathon, not a sprint. If you can't handle the new faction/solo armadas just yet, don't worry... they'll be there when your ships are stronger. There's new players just starting out on the Rogue store at ops 27, and won't touch the Bajorans for many months. That's ok. I was too low a level to build the Cerritos when it came out, just built it a couple weeks back. That's ok too. If you rushed to 39 and can't complete every event because of it, that's ok too. Focus on ships and research for a bit and you'll be caught up before too long. But... missing an event or arc of events is not the end of the world. There's no prize for getting to ops 60 as quickly as possible, there's no end boss to beat the game... you seem in a hurry when there isn't a reason to hurry, and its ruining your enjoyment of the game. IMO.

I have to say the instructions for the espionage event were less than adequate. Even after reading them, once they finally came out halfway through my day, I still didn't understand to just choose one officer. So now I am left with no way to finish the event.

Plus did we really need another faction with more currency? There is enough in this game to try and keep straight and get fixed without adding more. Plus the whole system is so confusing someone had to make a flow chart to show how things could progress. Was this really beneficial to the game?

Frozen hostiles in actian and Borg systems, game crashes unless we clear the cache between viewings of starbase and bajoran faction, loading a combat exocomp also fills the multipurpose slot which if filled cancels the combat. Mantis exos load automatically one trip but not the next 15 min later. La’an doesn’t work below decks and barclay is glitched. Loot officers for armadas cause reduced takes in solo dominion armadas. All this and no one to report it to. Stop with the new content. Fix the game.

🤷‍♂️ I’ve been just as upset at Scopely when they screw up as anyone else around here. I’m not a fanboy, I’ll give praise/criticism when its warranted. In this case though, most of what you are bringing up is not problems with the game, but with how you’ve been rushing your account.
You want to catch up to your alliance mates who are all in the 40’s/50’s, and that’s fine, that’s your choice. But rushing that fast has consequences, such as far weaker research/officers/ships (unless you spend a lot of $ to fill those gaps). Your efficiency researches are also likely way behind, making everything cost way more than it should. You said you take 3-4 hours a day to do dailies… this is why. Most players can finish dailies in around 15 minutes, but not if they're way underpowered for their ops level.
The good news is you don’t need to wait for Scopely to fix things to turn this stuff around. Focus on the efficiency researches you need to make everything cheaper, cut some of the grindy stuff to lower your daily burden (it’ll still be there when your ships are more powerful) and within a month or two you’ll be able to finish events far easier than you are now.
The bad news is you WON’T catch up to ops 45-55 players from a 10-month old account without spending lots of $$$, in addition to a ton of time. The game isn’t designed that way, you’ll always be way behind them if their accounts are years old.

As long as you can keep completing all your daily missions there is no problem rushing ops a bit. Better event rewards, more effeciency research. More specialty ships unlocked faster (amalgam, ceritos, feesha refineries are important).

On IOS it’s always full screen (notches and edges permitting. In this case with the 14 line up they completely forgot the DI is further down on the screen than the old notches were and so there is overlap. The main issue looking at the phone is that the DI is 98% software based and only 2% a physical notch

I would recommend you remove this before I do as it’s breaking the rules. As for PvP it’s part of the game

This whole direction of sourcing officer shards behind a paywall reminds me of early on when you, Scopely, had the Northstar event. You didn't earn enough from the events and still required money to unlock.

That's an absolute terrible design and caused several players to quit including myself for a couple of years. I had heard things had gotten better in terms of sourcing shards and bps and so I came back and it's been true for the most part.

But you've been rocking the player base negatively a lot recently and while it's claimed that you're listening to feedback, you're showing that either you don't care about said feedback or you're just lying about listening.

Please consider having at least one spend slb each BP and FP now. We've have this mechanic for a long time and we're all used to having to save for events. Don't change a fundamental thing like that without giving another f2p chance.

First time I have been compelled to comment on here, though the continual bug issues have nearly driven it for a while now...

This new pay-walling is insulting and foolish. Whales ger their toys, no one else (even mid spenders) get to play. Outcome...f2p and mid spenders abandon the game, or change their play style. So whales now only get to fight other whales, eventually they will get bored of that. At least with a CHANCE of in game non spend acquisition people are engaged. I know a LOT of people who will quit if this is the future.

To do this at a time of increased economic pressure and fear. To make people abandon one of their escapes. That is particularly low.

Plus, changing it like this when people have planned, and even potentially already invested in some packs this arc in preparation for an auction- well that is at best misleading and (redacted) .

I really hope you rethink. I love my alliance, and even the buggy game. But will find an alternative if I and my buddies can't be at least somewhat competitive.

Scopely is trying different officer unlock paths to see what we would like. That's their story. Here's an idea, check with the community first to see if they like your vision. I doubt many players would have said that having no chance outside of spending to unlock was a great idea.

Here's something we DO want though. We have a ton of unused items, currencies from past events and arcs, and more g3 common ship blueprints than we will ever need. @tacit obsidian, the community wants a redemption option to get rid of this useless items and get something we can use.

Another thing we want is better rewards in PvE chests. Getting a few useless bps and a paltry amount of XP is insulting.

I had great hopes for this Arc the design and some of the new mechanics are great. However this is marred by bad events, poor sourcing, high costs, more lag than I have ever seen in the game and I have been playing since launch in 2018. The gigantic stockpile of useless stuff could be easily eliminated with the Marketplace a building that was removed. We know that good sourcing is possible as it has been done in past arcs and events. I have only purchased the battle pass for the last while as I have found either little value for my gameplay or the cost was just too high for the benefit. There has been so much added that has little value ie: The elite officer recruits, the new primes to name a couple the community is speaking respectfully and constructively I implore you to listen as I have seen more players quit in the last 2 months than I have in the last 2 years

From that savings and/or packs they can advance their game by upgrading ships, their base and research. Gotta disagree. On the whole I’ve gained a new tree which was easy to open up and offered some pretty significant buffs across the whole game. I haven’t enjoyed some aspects of the arc, but in general have to admit that I’ve gotten significantly stronger for zero cash cost. I even skipped an elite BP for the first time in a while.

What I do wonder is if directive sourcing has kept pace with event-driven demand. It just doesn’t feel like we are getting enough directives to sustain decent frequency on G3, G4, Carmada chest pulls. It’s like some link in the economy is either broken or bottlenecked.

Surely there are data that can be shared to allay these sourcing concerns.

I would take a good hard look at your event designing/planning team. You guys have been releasing some cool features (incursions, Starbase, solo madas) lately that need a little polishing and they'll be great, but......

The bp event structure has been awful this month. You removed all incentives to spend materials (aka progress) so you could push an extremely greedy gacha scheme.

Similarly, incursions could be a lot better with some minor tweaks (more/rotating xslbs, remove base dry humping from scoring, etc).

It seems like whoever is doing quality control on events and event planning in general is failing you. And would it kill you guys to release accurate calendars? Super frustrating when events have different times and scoring than what you're announcing ahead of time, if you announce ahead of time...

Exactly. This is a mobile game, and a pretty simple one at that, and the IP has already been paid for so at this point any gain other than the costs to run it are pure profit. Under normal circumstances, that would be a $20 per month per player expectation of spending for a f2p game. What we're getting for $20 is constant paywalled P2W content even if you do the time to play the game. You go over to Star Trek Online, you can earn premium ships by constant daily grinding and, while the PvP is light, you can hold your own against spenders without dropping $300-$600. Quite frankly, the blatant greed shown by Scopely this month has made players outright quit the game, lower their engagement, ot decide not to spend.

• Enabling players to name their ships. Zero dollars for you but I tell you it will create a lot of fun for the community.
• Cleaning up all those zombie currencies that everyone collected over the months. Zero dollars for you but simplifies the user interface
• Reducing the crash rate of the game from once every 5 minutes
• Reducing the amount of time that your customers need to spend in the game e.g. by collapsing daily tasks into less work.
• It surprised me that when you came up with the great idea of officer presets, that even this you used to try to squeeze money from the players.

How about fixing the mechanics/rules of TC takeover’s? The game was great until territory was introduced and that was just the beginning. A simple change to the mechanics of only allowing those alliances that actually JOIN the takeover, to be able to enter and battle during a takeover. Every server seems to be ruled by a couple alliances that force all others to bow to them or else they will force you to quit the game all together. You would think that anything that would cause scopely to lose more and more players would be changed right?

DS9 arc so far gets an F and that's being generous
Part 1 - Started fine for 24 hours, loved the teamwork that first day, then they pulled the Gaila bonus and it went downhill from there. The last Sisko SLB being trashed in favor of incursions and brought back as a power event AFTER 2x power events from incursions was another blunder. Kira breaking other armadas the icing on the cake. Locked missions to +35 players and promising for them to be unlocked afterwards and not coming through on that, more trash.
Part 2 - Eco gives an interview, explicitly says there will be a Kobyashi Maru type event to earn the officers and the developers pull the rug under him and remove most sourcing outside of spending $600. The events the last 3 days were clearly meant to be pretty hard to complete and probably had officers originally. Restricting events to 35 plus has helped have the half of my server not there feel engaged and today's event was another design fail as not everyone has the warp range or required ships. The isolinear ship event store was only around for 24 hours and then poof.

From time to time, you ask for feedback in your app. Unfortunately, most times I see the screen I do not have time to enter something. So, you get my feedback here for the this and the last arcs:

Mentis: It is a nice ship and I really like it. The research tree to improve the Mentis is okay and the values in the refinery (incl the SNW Officer recruitment) is fair. As a disclaimer I have to say I bought both prime packs.

Strike crew (Battleship): Not your best decision. In the past I mentioned here already problems in your officer design. Each month you must create new (better) officers to push the people to buy packs. Sooner or later, you will end up in a dead end. But what I really do not like, there is no way to get shares of these new officers in the game. Please find a way to add the officers either to the ultra-recruit or to the other SNW officers in the Mentis refinery.

Something positive, I really like the first DS9 arc. Nice new officers, an alliance station, and new Cardassian armadas. -> really nice arc.

Unfortunately, you released the second DS9 arc afterwards. It is not easy to be polite and do not use many bad words to describe this arc. But lets’ try and start with something positive: Single Armadas. The sourcing of the armada directive is not optimate (see below) the feature of single armadas is great. I am really looking forward how you develop this feature.
But there are a few not so good points:

1. Strike crew: You put Garak in a crew with Gul Dukat? Really? The selling point of this game s Star Trek. At least I choose this mobile game and not another because of Star Trek. When you design your officers, you should ensure they are matching the Star Trek lore.
2. Officer recruit: This month I bought the elite battlepass. Normally it is a good investment. There will be normally one new epic officer and auctions for this officer. In the auctions you can be in the middle field and you will get the officer on tier 1 after the arc. This month, even with the elite battlepass and finishing all events I will not get Gul Dukat without spending additional money. Feeling wrong. In the end I realized the elite battle pass had not so much value than in the last month and I am really thinking to do not buy the elite battle pass ever again.
3. Armadas: Too much Cardessian armadas. It was not a nice weekend. You released too many armada events!!!
4. The new elite fraction recruit is a nice idea. It is great that you put officers, where were not recruitable before. In this package. Unfortunately, I think you did do a mistake by the price tag. You can buy a normal fraction recruit for eighty fraction credits (five hundred token) (and less in higher packages). For an elite fraction recruit you can get two hundred tokens (unfortunately you need five hundred tokens for a box) in the fraction store for 2k credits. That means one box cost 5k credits. Compared to eighty credits for a normal package the elite packages are too expansive!!!

5. The new primes are a joke. I am a dolphin. I spend money on this game (and not less), but when I spent money, I would like to see a benefit. Today I found time to see RevDuecs video to this topic and I cannot add much about the problem with this new primes: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pP284fmCPFg . To give you constructive feedback: You must increase the value of this prime. To simplify it, all my examples are about Federation stuff:
a. Reputation bonus – in the Galaxy research tree you find the Federation Apprentice research. This research gives you a 50% reputation bonus on max level. Prime research should be at least as good as this “free” research.  Increase reputation bonus to 50 % per level (50%, 100%, 150%, 200%, 250%).
b. You get a daily chest with credits and reputation. I will not talk about reputation. It is just too low to make any difference. E.g. 100k reputation = killing 10 fraction traders… If you want to make this valuable, you must multiply the bonus by 10…
c. Let’s talk about the credits. The credits are a selling point for me. But on the one hand I get credits via the Borg refinery and other hand there is the ultra Federation recruit package in the shop, which gives 35k credits for 100 €. I spend 100€ for this new prime and I have a break even point after 90 days (400 credits per day, for the second package -> increase by 100 to 500 credits which mean your break even after 350 days !!!!). Long story short: my solution would be to increase the credits in the daily chest to 600 per level. In this case you should have a break even after ca. 2 month, which would give you a realistic choice to either get credits instantly (Ultra Federation recruit package) or making a long term investment (new primes).

Yes, you are right. The package contains much stuff. But maybe it is just my opinion, I would like to have a valuable prime. If I need uncommon I should buy an „uncommon package“ like the explorer package for gas.
I think this is another problem of the shop. To legitimate the prices Scopely has to put more and more „extra“ stuff in the package. I would love to spent less and get only the prime. For me the primes is the selling point of the packages

Max enterprise warp range is still only 75 until you get warp particles for research and increase warp limit for all ships. And it take some time to get Valdore or other 42 level ship once you reach ops 42, you need rep and a lot of credits for BPs. I am currently stuck waiting for R&D 43 to extend Discovery warp range.

They have reduced the loot because 55+ needed 6-7 cargo loads to get required amount to refine. They applied a -10x loot modifier but in doing so they haven't yet applied the same to the refines. My guess is they are hoping most people hit that triple refine and burn their stockpile before reducing it, otherwise what you have now will go 10x further the moment they reduce it

There is a bug where commodores can't collect the plasma. It looks like it is taking it but nothing goes to Inventory, then when you go out and back in to the UI its still there to be collected. You can do that forever and get no increase in plasma.

restart your game and update localization. refinery is fixed
cost and loot drop was reduced by 10x to fix cargo issues.

This is a positive change. Doesn't happen often.

It's clear to see (and we should all not be blind to it) that scopely doesn't actually give 2 cr@ps what is best for the playerbase. We don't actually matter. These decisions are truly damaging to the game. Continue to take these loyal players for granted and you will be sealing the date of your entire to community.

@tacit obsidian is this month reflective of a "new" even worse direction for the handing of players, their time investment and their money? Every choice that is made is indefensible. I hope everyone who cares about this game, gives you their honest opinion. So close, like many others, to just saying goodbye to the money I put into the game and making damn sure I don't give any more.

Here's an idea, make the pull smaller, but keep the loot the same. Do something to actually reduce the grind time for a change.

Scopley just keeps screwing this game up. They need to had it over to company that knows what they are doing, because they don’t. The whales need to not spend for an entire month, that would send a clear message.

I got full price triple pull base on what Antimatter bit i started vs what i have after the pull. So i was too fast to get the reduced cost?

I did it after the maintenance and i paid full price. How do fix localisation on my PC?

the nerf is a good thing, how do you not see this? No longer will you have to run multiple times just because your cargo was full. No longer will you have to look over your shoulder because you went opc straight away
Yes Rat, I pulled mine this morning before maintenance as well. restarting the game and updating localization will get you the updated costs for tomorrow

PLUS if you farmed ahead, your hard farmed credits are worth 10x

actually it does, hold fills up slower, less need to rtb and come back. maybe you should work on your maths ability....

Same hostile kills needed with less trips.. before would take me 3 trips now can be done in 1… hence easier
