I'm trying to select support roles and a category to create the tickets into but they are not selecting. Every time I select all of them and I exit out, they don't save.

Claiming allows you to change the ticket name, category and permissions. To use it you have to enable it first on your Dashboard > Panel Configs > Claiming

Look in the following places in your server's dashboard:

To cancel your Ticket Tool Premium Subscription, just head over to your User Settings in Discord, then Subscriptions. Look for Premium Apps and click on Manage Subscriptions. There you can cancel your subscription at the end of your billing cycle.

Unfortunately, the user/role has to be pinged to add them to the ticket. That is how Discord's threads work. As a bypass you can remove the mentions from your ticket message so that they are not pinged twice. Hope that helps!

how can i customise dropdowns
The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on

After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.

- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected
- Option doesn't show up? Check if two options have the same panel in the DropDown Editor

i’m sure this has been asked a lot so i apologize if so but maybe once a day or every other day where we can’t see the ticket & can’t close or delete it using the commands or even deleting the channel, we have to wait for it to go away which usually takes a pretty long time - is this a discord issue or a bot issue?

I'd say that it could be a bot issue because there could be a chance that the ticket message is just not showing, but seeing that you can't see new messages by others or yours, and the "3 new messages" at the top makes me sure it can't be a bot issue.
Can you try creating a new ticket and see if everything is fine there?
yes those were my messages of me trying to delete or get a transcript, if other people write in there i don’t get the new message notification at the top i’m not sure if that tells you anything

I've made no alterations to any of it's permissions and just yesterday went through and verified it had those.
It's been in use on my server for well over 2 years.
Ok so apparently an admin moved the channel to the corect ticket area and hit sync permissions which removed the bot from that specific ticket
I'm stil having an issue with my tickets popping up on the top of the discord server, and it's from multiple categories that are around 4-15 tickets max per category.
Limit is 50 from what I remembered before it goes into the overflow area

The limit is 50 meaning it must be an error on your side, make sure you check through all your panels and make sure they all have a set category to be created in. You can find that by going to:
Dashboard > Panel Configs > Category > Category Created/Opened
I would suspect the issue being one of your panels not having a category set, therefore it is going to the top of your server.

I'm running into an issue with tickets being created in the category listed in the dashboard - they are not getting created there.
My ticket panel is in one category and I want it to send the open tickets to another category. There are no other channels in the new category. My attempts so far have been to reset everything and resend the panel to the channel; and I recreated the panel instead of modifying a cloned panel with the new category only listed. I'm missing something, I just don't know what it is.

How many channels are in your category?
Discord has a 50-channel limit for each category. When this limit is reached, TT will automatically create tickets at the top of the server to accommodate new tickets.
You can assign an overflow category as a workaround.
Discord only allows to stack up to 50 channels per category, meaning that if you have already 50 tickets in one category, the bot won't be able to place a ticket in that category, for such reason Ticket Tool counts with overflow categories, meaning that if your main category is filled, the bot will go ahead and place the ticket on the next one available, simply choose a second category in the category pickers:
There are no channels in the category.
Double check you saved the settings and make sure you are editing the correct panel.

The variable {user} shows the user id. By adding {user.name} adds the user's username.
Under every customizable text message, you should see the text "For a list of variables, press here". In that website you will see all the variables you are able to put. Their descriptions are on the right. For the variable to work, you will need to put { } at the sides.

The ticket name is the default channel name of all tickets. To edit it, go to your Dashboard > Panel Configs > Ticket. There you can edit the channel name of opened and closed tickets. You can also use variables in there.

Hey there! It seems that the category the open tickets are sent to is either deleted or you have no access to it, therefore it wasn't sent there. Contact an admin so they can change this through the dashboard.
The first thing you will need to do is invite the premium bot, an invite can be found here
Once the bot is in your server we will head to the dashboard and manage your server. When you are managing your server, you want to head into "Server Configs" then click the drop down menu under "Select the bot you would like to use on this server" then click "Ticket Tool#6207" and then save.

If you go to the Panel Config section of the dashboard and click the Send button, then it should re send the panel as the premium bot

It’s a per bot policy meaning all tickets that have been opened with the White Bot will need to be edited/closed with the White Bot, any tickets that are created with the Gold Bot can be edited with the Gold Bot.
Is there anything I can do about that?
If you would like to reset and start again you can use the /purge command which will clear all tickets in the server.
Then if you resend the panel using the premium bot, every ticket now created will use the premium bot
Sadly not, you will just have to use the White bot until all tickets have been closed
Then start using the premium bot

Hey here! Discord has a maximum of 50 channels per category, TicketTool limits it to 45.
If you've reached such limit, closed tickets will not be moved

Hey, this is exactly the case.. any solutions? As ideally I wanna archive the tickets in a category. Just encase I need to go back through for missed people.
Using these for world of Warcraft gear checks. So not the end of the world if I need to delete them

You can setup overflow categories. That way once your 1st closed category is full, new tickets will be sent to the next one.
Please note, Discord has a server-wide limit of 500 channels so once you've reached that, you will have to delete closed tickets.
You can enable transcripts, that way you can access the file containing all the messages sent in a ticket later
Ohh sick! Although also a pain in the ass gonna need some many closed categories lol. Will ticket tool automatically move failed moved tickets or that a manual job either reopening and closing or moving myself?
That's right, you will need to manually re-open and close or drag them to the new category

Yes, you can automatically delete tickets but to automatically get transcripts you would need premium
Please fill me in on auto deleting for now please, can this be time based or what are the options? Transcripts can be a pass for now, (sorry don’t have a big use for premium currently lol)
You can either disable two step ticket, which I wouldn't recommend for you as it would automatically delete the ticket upon closure, meaning you wouldn't be able to transcript it. (Unless you run the command really fast or before closure)
Alternatively, you can use the automations section

The Drop-down menu or Select Menu replaces the buttons on your panel message and uses a drop-down menu with all of your panels. To set this up, go to your Panel Configs and select your main Panel.
First you enable Select Style. Then you add an item in the Dropdown Editor. Now you can start editing your dropdown!
Each line in the dropdown editor represents a line in the drop down menu on discord. You can add more "Items", by clicking on 

First you select a panel. That's the panel this option will open a ticket for.
DONT select the same panel twice. Each option should have a different Panel 
After that, you can put a Display. This is the title of this option and will appear in the drop down menu. The *Description can be set right after that, which will be below the title in grey.
Additionally you can select an emoji, that will be shown in front of each option. You can either manually input the ID of an emoji or select it in the selector.
- Panel doesn't send? Make sure you have a valid emoji selected
- Option doesn't show up? Check if two options have the same panel in the DropDown Editor

The ticket name is the default channel name of all tickets. To edit it, go to your Dashboard > Panel Configs > Ticket. There you can edit the channel name of opened and closed tickets. You can also use variables in there.

This depends upon which action the error is appearing, the most common cases are the Create Ticket button or one of your Dropdown emojis. You can visit your Button's List to find all available buttons and find the conflicting one by yourself.
- You selected an emoji that doesn't exist anymore, i.e. that has been deleted
- You wrote text there, instead of an emoji (or in addition to an emoji)
- You entered a code for a custom emoji from a server that the bot is not a member of
- You entered a custom emoji code incorrectly
- You're on iPhone and entered an emoji using the phone's emoji pad (use the emoji selector in the website instead)

Once a user clicks the create ticket button an Ephemeral message will appear only viewable by the person opening the ticket. It says the ticket has been opened and mentions the ticket.

Unfortunately these Ephemeral message cannot be edited at this moment in time.
These pop-ups can only be seen by the user who triggered a certain action, like creating a ticket. They cannot be edited or disabled, as they are a discord requirement that is set by the developer of any bot. The ephemeral messages can be removed by pressing the little blue Dismiss message text, or by restarting your discord client.

If a user leaves the server and rejoins, due to how permissions work they will no longer be able to access the ticket.
You can readd them to the ticket with the /add command.

Hey, after a ticket is closed those with support team roles / administrator permission / any additional roles can still see the contents of the tickets.
If a ticket is deleted then the channel is deleted and all the messages alongside it. If there are transcripts set up, then the message is saved with the transcript.

If you want, whenever a user creates a new ticket you can have an embed with your terms of service. Head to dashboard > panel configs > messages > edit ticket message. From there, you can edit your embed to include the terms of service or press ‘add embed’ to attach a second one that contains that information.

The Backup and Restore feature allows you to transfer your panels, tags, and all settings to a new server, even if the server the settings were created has been deleted! You will want to copy the whole key.
First, go to your server's Dashboard ➞ then Server Configs ➞ under Config Backup & Restore (Server Owner Only) click on Old version can be found here and generate a new backup key by pressing the green button. Now, a key should be generated in the box above. You may need to refresh the page to see this.
Once you have your backup key, navigate to the same page on the new server. Copy the key on the Restore from backup key field.
Now you can choose what you want to copy. Finally, press the green Restore Configs button.
- We suggest you keep this backup key somewhere safe, in case your server is deleted so you are able to recover your panel's settings.

Hello, Can someone tell me if the bot is able to Ping roles when a ticket channel is created? We are having issues that no one is being notified of a ticket being made, so the ticket sits there for hours before a mod or admin stumbles across it
Within all the messages the bot sends (both embeds and text) you can mention either channels, roles, or even users, these mentions will only send a notification to the user if they are used within a text field, e.g: a role mentioned in an embed won't ping at all the users who have that role.
For mentioning a role you can use one out of three options:
{@Role Name} ➞ Which is Case Sensitive.
{RoleID} ➞ Replace RoleId with the Id of the role you are trying to ping.
<@&RoleID> ➞ Discord's native syntax to ping roles.
<#ChannelID> ➞ Mention a channel by its ID.
<@UserID> ➞ Mention a user by its ID.

This depends upon which action the error is appearing, the most common cases are the Create Ticket button or one of your Dropdown emojis. You can visit your Button's List to find all available buttons and find the conflicting one by yourself.

The ticket name is the default channel name of all tickets. To edit it, go to your Dashboard > Panel Configs > Ticket. There you can edit the channel name of opened and closed tickets. You can also use variables in there.

Hey there! Discord has a maximum of 50 channels per category. TicketTool limits it to 45.
If your category is full, tickets won't be moved to the closed category unless you setup Overflow categories
Discord only allows to stack up to 50 channels per category, meaning that if you have already 50 tickets in one category, the bot won't be able to place a ticket in that category, for such reason Ticket Tool counts with overflow categories, meaning that if your main category is filled, the bot will go ahead and place the ticket on the next one available, simply choose a second category in the category pickers:

As in, have your normal panels for users to open tickets and have a 9th panel, just for your staff to contact users, with a message along the lines of ''a staff member has created this ticket on your behalf''. This wouldn't work if you only use your existing panels via the $new command
