I think if you have like a little island just for the tree in the middle of a body of water you can possibly do that and try and use the water terraforming tool to get as close as you can. I have something like that on my island, if that helps. Otherwise I don’t think there’s another way but I could be mistaken

Decent progres, etc. And then Someone I thought i could trust came into my house and stole my switch. I had to get another one again. Started over again. If you're early in the game then I don't think you'll be able to move them out any time soon. You have to wait until you have all 10. But the campsite is something you'll get eventually and once a week there will be a villager in it, and you can ask them to move to your island

When you do the local Switch to Switch 2 transfer, your island goes with it and leaves your original Switch.

As a failsafe, make sure that you have the island backup turned on and actually backed up on your Switch. Just in case

I personally haven't tried. I did hear that you'd be able to see the pictures off of them. Not sure how many pictures you have, but they made it easier to transfer photos using the new Nintendo Switch app. If it's a lot of photos, you might just want to buy a micro sd card reader and put them on a computer.

Also, the Switch 2 has a larger internal hard drive. Your pictures and videos may just all fit! Again, not sure how many you have.

if you waaaant, i can ask my partner to get you a good drop of items by a visit. they're very generous with it and usually help out players needing a good boost. nothing as substantial as cataloging but still, helpful in the least.

I too have a technical issue that I've been experiencing with specifically my AC:NH game! I keep getting NAT errors when I'm trying to play with others over internet. I'm curious if this is a common issue others have dealt with, and if so, what was their end-solution?? troubleshooting with my ISP and Nintendo both is slow-going and seemingly going no where. I'm getting desperate and asking here and reddit what other's experience has been 😂

that's what I've been finding too, but I have over 30 upload, 300 download, and my NAT type is always B, sometimes A. I've been troubleshooting for well over a year at this point, and are just in slow talks between myself and my ISP to get me off of the CGNAT wall or get more details from Nintendo about why this is happening.
I'm mostly trying to see if anyone else experiences these issues, and how they dealt with it. I'm considering just buying a nicer router, but I dont' want to do that unless I know it'll work because our internet works just fine in every other way
