So, I have a question. (Somewhat long, sorry). Chrissy was in boxes yesterday and I invited Julian (via amiibo) to come visit the campsite. I invited him to move to my island and he went off to chat with Tom Nook, said there was a plot available for him (presumably Chrissy's) and it sounded like he would be moving in. Today, I get up and the plot is still unclaimed with new villagers appearing on mystery islands, as if I hadn't invited Julian to move in. I tried inviting Julian to the campsite again today via amiibo and he is unavailable. Is he moving in or not? I really don't want to be stuck with a random villager, as that gave me Maell early in my playing of the game. Has this happened to anyone else?

There's a weird glitch when sometimes the campsite visitor ends up in your move-in queue instead of moving right in. I would assume this is what happened in your case. Now he is there but it's not guaranteed, he's the first one that will move in tomorrow when the plot autofills. I would say better get a villager you want before that

save the game and then tt forward 15 days, open the game and see if there is anyone with a bubble. then if so, the bubble only lasts for 5 mins ish the it disappears. if there is a bubble then you know someone is going to think about leaving on that day so save the game and tt back a day earlier then open the game then save it again and tt forward to the same day again (the day you saw the bubble on someones head) if its the wrong person, then tt back a day then open and save the game and then tt forward a day again and hopefully someone else will have the bubble and do that method until the right person has the bubble over their head
