• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. You can use Ninji's MeteoNook app (https://wuffs.org/acnh/weather/) to help determine your seed and get your weather and shooting stars forecast for your island.

• Caps (not helmets): Caps in the game are tagged either as free or womanly. Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. Since female villagers can use both types of caps, the only way to remove them is when they approach you to sell/gift/trade in the item. You can't... Other players either need to have the Dodo code that Orville gives you when you open your gates, or they need to be in your Switch friends list if you open your gates for friends only

• Visit Nook Miles Ticket islands (mystery tours). These islands always have rocks you can hit for materials.
  -Trade with other players if you have a Nintendo Switch Online subscription. Make sure you have the trade role from #721542917264638002, then visit #materials-and-tools.

No any information entered at the creation of the profile cannot be change unless you erase the character from the game (if it's a secondary character log that profile and use the - menu on the title screen)
