You must be the first player to buy from Leif 3 separate times—the buy counter can only increase once per day and only for the first player that buys from him.

A second player would have to buy first 3 other times, then talk to him again. Buying on other islands adds to the counter as long as nobody on that island bought anything from him yet that day. However, you can only receive the DIY on your island

With the new happy home paradise DLC, In the direct while showcasing the new content it featured a new way of planting trees, building fences, in the dlc that looked much easier than the way we do those things on our home island. Anyone know if those new dlc building methods will be carrying over to our home islands? As in we can use the building method shown in the direct for the dlc on our islands?

Also they are offering pre order, but if its bought online it can't sell out right? Seems straight forward but ppl are saying its sold out in Australia which is confusing me.

Can time travelling still "brick" your campsite and prevent you from getting campers? I remember something early after launch where time travelling would at best make it so any day before the latest time travelled day would never get campers (So if you at one point travelled to say, March 1st of 2022, youd never get a camper on any day before 3/1/22), and that some people had their campsite broken completely

Question about the 3rd potential villager, once you get the 3 housing kits, if I build 1, will it automatically be reserved to a random villager or can I go to islands to look for one I want to move in as 3rd?

If you go on mystery islands, the personalities you will find would be lazy, normal and peppy as for the plots, 1 would be for the lazy villager, 2 for the peppy one and 3 for the normal one.
You can invite the villager up until you complete the plot. If you complete it it would automatically fill it.
If you already adopted from mystery islands, you would get the one you adopted

For the start for the game the first 6 personalities are lock your starters a sisterly and jock, then these three then the camper is a smug. Maybe to encourage personality diversity and different dialogs from villagers as the start and more Diys.
If you go to mystery island at the start these would be the locked personalities
You also can't adopt from players until you have all these 6.
If you didn't build the first plot you'd still find villagers, until you adopt the three for these plot.
After these you would find all personalities, and only when you have an available plot

hello, i am at the point of the game where the campsite was opened and i created a plot of land for the 1st camper. i was given the opportunity to create 4 more plots of land and have done so. i was wondering if i were able to go to other's islands now and convince 4 different villagers to move in or if i would have to wait and do that one at a time.

Yep, you can go to mystery island to get villager. But only one villager per day that can be invited from mystery island. Tho you can invite more than one from other players

Sadly only luck, and they tend to spawn on more open spaces from experiences. If you want to do the mystery island thing by cutting all tree and removing every flower you can but it'll be just as tedious. Just a bit easier to farm spawns on mystery islands due to the limited bugs at once, 5 if I'm not mistaken.

When the first Fishing Tourney was hold, I grinded all the way up to the gold trophy and also got every item at least once for the catalog.

Is there any reason to play other fishing Tourneys as well, except for one round for the nook miles stamp?

So is there any additional reward after completing the first one?

And same question for the Bug-Off Event

The items are confirmed to show up in Cranny thanks to the japanese site, they are more easily obtainable in the DLC due to the Poki store only having new items while Cranny mixes them in. We can only assume what the "unlock more the more you advance through the DLC" actually means, since they confirmed they are not locked to the DLC - meaning they can't be locked to progression for purchase for your own island.

The construction things are completely locked to you since they are not actual items.

You can't just pick up a "pillar" item (of the kind they mean, obviously pillar like furniture items have also been shown), it's only available as a construction feature.

They refer to them as "learned techniques", rather than items

They have confirmed that if you get the DLC via the subscription, once these techniques are learned you keep them forever on your own island even if you unsubscribe and lose access to HHP part.

The layout of the main island is set, and the airport has two possible positions, and lots of layouts have their airport locations either to the side or just one off.

Here are my two maps, if you see these river designs you know they are aligned if they get the 2-3 airport location for the first and the 3-4 airport location for the second (the airport can only be on a line like this in between the grid)

You could open a new profile on your switch, thus creating a second player on your island, but they have limited capabilities and you'd need to log onto your original account to do certain things. if you did want to start over with a new island rep, you could ask the middlemen to help you with a reset by holding some of your items.

3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.

Yes, the villager needs to be fully gone before you can invite other villagers

if the day is about to run out you can always time travel back a few hours (but make sure you stay within the same day to keep the plot open)

In HHD you could build multiple houses on the same plot and they would act as different locations, so plots were really not a limit to the number of villager houses you could design

Okay, just keep doing that then. You'll see bubbles eventually! You can skip Saturdays if that saves you some time (villagers can't get bubbles when KK is around nor when events happen)

Weeds take priority spawning over rocks iirc. So you may need to place 150 weeds on your beach to prevent more weeds spawning in the spots you want the rocks. Tall furniture/cliffs also block rocks spawning behind them

Custom paths are single tile blockers. They'll block rocks spawning on that one place. So if there's custom paths currently at the two points that could be it

you can use bait or not, bait just speeds up the process for catching them (any fish, really) and people use bait to force spawns because the pier fish in particular are pretty rare
