You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

Does anyone know what’s happening? when I switch my game card to another game to play for a bit and switch it back to ACNH it tells me that the card can’t be read. This ONLY happens with acnh, no other games. It usually fixes itself if I reboot it, but other times it just stays like that for days. It also mainly happens when I have a low battery (under 30%). there's no real efficient way to transfer items to another island. I'd suggest gathering all your stuff you want to keep, and have it close to the airport so you're running back and forth is a lot quicker. But other than that, its just a lengthy process of going back and forth with all the items

I don't actually think you need to redeem the code again tbh. I've reset my island and they're still in my promotions tab. I'm pretty sure when you enter said code for the first time its on the switch rather than the game. They come from Jock villagers who are crafting them, message bottles sent by Jock villagers, or you can dig up a pitfall seed that's been buried and your character will self-teach it. If you want to trade for it, you need the trade role from #721542917264638002 first, then you can check out #diy-trade

Yes to your first question, but you won't be able to visit your islands and one of them will only be able to play with an internet connection (whichever island is on your non-primary device)

No to your second question, the island rep can only be transferred if the entire island itself is also transferred, villagers, layout, progress and all
