you can get past this by simply growing the trees somewhere else and then move them with a shovel; they will still produce fruits as usual once fully grown

There is. If you already have a secondary player, log into the game on their account, wait until you see the bubble on the villager, and tell them not to go. The game will make them stay. If you don't have a secondary player, you can try to make one and do the same process, I'm just not sure if it works that way.

• If they're wearing a design that is not actually displayed on your Able's, nothing happens

This is misleading -- villagers who have high friendship can still ask to move, and villagers with low friendship can ask infrequently. Not interacting with them doesn't significantly impact their chances of asking to leave or not

Just keep trying, then. It takes awhile sometimes because the move-out process is largely RNG -- all you're doing with this method is basically speeding up a dice roll until you get the outcome you want. Tips:

• Make sure you've spoken at least once to your target villager(s), as never speaking to them will exclude them from the asking pool.
• Spend 10-15 minutes looking for a bubble. I know that seems like a long time, but bubbles don't show up immediately and this will help ensure you've found one if there is one for that day.
• Skip Saturdays, and any other event days or days where KK Slider shows up. KK and events block move-out bubbles, it'll save you some time.
• Put the relocation kit of a non-target villager in your pocket. You can give it back later, but it'll exclude them from the asking pool and save you some time

Once a villager moved in they can move out. The lastest villager will never ask to move out by themselves, but all villagers can be kicked by campers.
You need at least 6 villagers before they can start asking to leave

A second player would have to buy first 3 other times, then talk to him again. Buying on other islands adds to the counter as long as nobody on that island bought anything from him yet that day. However, you can only receive the DIY on your island.

Yeah it’s the only way,if you run using B over flowers they go BOOM(you know what I mean)no other way at all unless using Y or the shovel.

She’ll give a random one from her selection that a player has not gotten, and this includes diys that use zodiac fragments, but those are only obtainable during their respective time frame

You can ask Tom Nook about selling some land, that option unlocks after you have 6 villagers... Otherwise, if you have less than 6, then keep doing the tasks Tom Nook gives you, the first 6 villagers are more or less scripted:

• The first 2 are there from the beginning
• The next 3 come as part of the three plots quest (you can invite them from mystery islands before finishing that quest, or finish the quest and have the game choose random ones)
• The 6th one comes from the campsite
• For the rest, you're pretty much free
