ideally they’d both be seeds, because otherwise the other partner may not have the right genes in order to breed a purple

(i.e. the partner not from seed may have only recessive alleles in the “white gene”, which won’t work to make purples because each purple rose has 2 dominant alleles in that slot. in this game the genes are arranged RR-YY-WW-SS)

well, i would make sure that the bubble is actually a move out bubble first. talk to judy and just close the game if she asks to move out. don’t say yes or no. if it is a move out bubble, tt to the next day and it could be on someone else

Weeds spawns happen first before rocks can spawn, so you should leave space for them or plant more than 150 weeds so new ones can't spawn.

When I did my rock garden on my previous island, I covered my entire island in custom patterns (as opposed to mannequins which do cause lag) and never noticed any lag so I think you should be okay with a bunch of patterns

So I have a campsite visitor I want. So I’ve done the thing where you play the game and they will finally agree to move, then pick a random villager to replace.

And if it happens to be a villager you don’t want replaced you can pick up their house and then the camper will choose someone else? Has that changed? I ask because the camper now won’t even try to ask about moving to my island. If any of that makes sense?

well my understanding is that if they picked someone you don't want, you could just close out of the game instead of rejecting them, then keep going through the process of the card game again until they picked someone you want

so its possible you've just gotta keep talking to them over and over again until they offer to play the game again

I’ve done that, she keeps picking the same villager I want to keep. So I went to Tom and asked to move the villager the camper keeps picking and that’s suppose to eliminate them from the selection.

However, when I did that. Now the camper won’t even spark the dialog to want to move to the island

I think if you reject them the first time, they can't change who they pick, but idk how that all changes when you go to move the person they ask. Maybe try closing the game and reopening it and going to talk to them again just so the game can essentially refresh and flag that whoever they asked is now having their house moved

So I went to the campsite, talked to Annalisa. I played her game, she chose Greta, who I want to keep. So I closed my game. 10 times I’ve restarted and each time she’s picking Greta

So in guides I’ve read in the past and in videos. They say to talk to Tom and have him give you the kit to move the villager you want to keep, keep the kit in your inventory then talk to the camper and they will choose anyone else.

I know without a doubt I didn’t continue the conversation after the dialogue of her saying she over heard Greta wanting to move. I close the game instantly. I did this 10 times and each time she chose Greta.

The 11th time, I didn’t talk to Annalisa. I went right to Tom Nook and paid to move Greta’s house and then just kept her house kit in my inventory. Then I went to speak to Annalisa. For the past 15 minutes I’ve been in a loop of the same 3 things she says and not once has asked about moving to the island

If you have TTed more than 2 weeks day by day (after the first 1 month skip) then just try restarting the method. Sync back to real time, talk to all villagers at least once and try again. Unfortunately the moving out process requires a lot of trials sometimes

Seems like bad luck then. I know it's not a lot of help but you can only keep trying. Sync back, talk to all villagers at least once, skip 1 month, check for bubbles, then TT day by day until you find a bubble. Also remember you can skip Saturdays when KK is there and event days

i think patty wants to move out since shes a pop star (her words not mine), and i got her on my island with a nmt, and the line to get her to move to my island was something like "y'know, pop stars love traveling the world! just like me. i can never seem to stay in the same place... but i would love living on an island!" or something like that, idk.

Right now my island is pretty harmonious with all of my villagers. I was wondering if I moved their houses closer together if it would cause more problems. I have all 8 personality types and know that some of them prefer certain personality types over others. I'm just not sure if distance between their houses has any impact on the likelihood of a conflict or not.

house placement won't affect things like that since they move around the island freely and don't always stick to where their house is
