there is a way to choose the villagers who move in, but I think it has to be done before completing all the furniture is placed inside and outsie

you can go and choose that villager by mystery island hopping/adopting from someone else

Yes there is a item on the ground, finding and returning it gives a low value gift from the villager and some friendship points, so its not something to spend a long time working on. The items on their own are good for decoration and a lot of high quality island use them in places.

The person who made the design is the only one that can put it on the wall. The other villagers will start wearing the design too if you keep it there and you can’t remove it, only replace it. Whatever you replace it with the villagers will also start wearing.

Yes you would be able to do the events, though they are time-locked to only one year atm, e.g Bunny Day works in 2021 only but Turkey Day in 2020 only. (Nintendo updates the dates over time)

Yes, you can place them and hunt for villagers but those plots are reserved only for peppy, normal and lazy villagers and that's what you'll only find on mystery island. Also, you need to hunt before finishing the furniture for the plots otherwise the game will autofill them.

@silk knot To get rid of the custom clothing, you need to put up a design on your Able Sisters wall that she will switch to. I don’t remember if the color matter or if it is just random. Wait until she wears it, that means she got rid of the previous custom design.

Then if you want to get rid of the custom clothing you made, you complain to Isabelle to make sure no one wears it, then make a friendcome to your island to report your design in Able Sisters. That is the only way to reset the wall to default, which villagers do not touch.

The issue with Isabelle is, as has been said, she only removes custom clothing from villagers if it is currently displayed on the wall. That’s why you need to replace the custom design with one you can remove (by making someone else report it, which is also a big issue. Why can’t you just take it down?!)

You have to wait for the 5th to move in then your RS will upgrade to a building then tom will ask you to build the campsite and you will get your 6th villager from there that no matter what, you have to invite them keep asking tom what to do eventually he will give you the option to buy more plots and then you can go on a villager hunt
