so i have a spot on my island dedicated to bugs research but have run into the issue that the placed bug containers look too big on the stone stool. the only ones i can fit nicely on the iron table and stone stool is a common butterfly on the table, and a firefly on the stool. is there anyone who had taken pictures of other placed bugs? i want to know what a placed cricket looks like, and monarch butterfly, etc. whichever one are like in the itty bitty bug thing like the common butterfly

best thing to do is have one piece of trash on your island in a fairly secluded spot. I spent a few days trying to get a fly, and found the best luck while I was rotating through my island hunting for cidadas, etc. Just stopping by every once in a while to peek at the trash and see if there is a fly hanging around. They scare fairly easily so be sneaky!

So for whatever reason, I cannot get any sort of local play to work. I'm using 2 Lites, 1 standard, and 1 updated model, none of them can connect to each other, in any combination. Each one gets as far as the gate being opened, Orville finding the island, and for about one second, the "Getting ready to depart" pops up, followed by "A communication error has occurred."

We've been playing the game since launch and have never had this issue before.

no, not really, unless the reds and yellows were not from seedbags, because if they aren’t, you may not have the chance of getting orange you think you do. additionally, consider that reproduction chances are quite low within the first few days and especially if you are the only one watering. it should be a 50% chance for you to get orange once a seed red and seed yellow pair does eventually reproduce.

When a villager in boxes is not adopted, they go in their player's MOQ, if they visit someone or someone visits them, the villager is transferred to the other player's MIQ
The MIQ is where the villagers from auto-filled plots come from (and if the MIQ's empty, the game can generate a random one if needed)
