A trick I use is the corners, im assuming it's a rather popular one. try to chase it into the nearest corner. As there are borders, when it gets close to the corner it'll stop moving if you come in from the right direction. So if you're chasing to the top right border as it's close, you want the sea creature to be inbetween you and the border. It can't escape via the barrier and it will not go in the same direction you are

That's only really necessary for the faster ones though.

There's a variety of methods! You can buy things from Nook's, shoot down balloons, get them from villagers as gifts, drop items from trees, catalogue or trade from other players, it really is just a combination of everything I'd say!

Well there is Welcome Amiibo cards, which there are 56 in the collection, whereas the Sanio Amiibo only have 6 cards total. I've just seen it stated that the Welcome amiibo only works with New Leaf. And I don't think HHD has its own amiibo (?). I'll have to look that up.

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

You need to move someone out before you can take a villager from another player's island or find a villager thru NMT. You need an empty plot that doesn't say "SOLD" on it.

While an Amiibo camper lets you choose who to replace, a random camper will randomly pick one of your villagers. If you immediately exit the game and close before accepting yes or no, you can go back in and the camper will pick another random villager.

• You unlock K.K. Slider concerts and the Island Designer app (terraforming) once you achieve your first 3-star rating.
• You obtain the Golden Watering Can DIY once you achieve your first 5-star rating. Also, lilies-of-the-valley can spawn as long as your island keeps its 5-star rating!

__ •• How do I get a 3- or 5-star rating? •• __
• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

Yep! It's not the highest you've ever gotten, it's the rating it currently is.

that is unlocked once you reach three stars, and KK slider first performs on your island

The first time you get 3 stars and Isabelle reports it as such, K.K. Slider will agree to come to the island. After you watch his performance, Nook will give you the Island Designer app. You can then unlock Waterscaping and Cliffscaping for 6,000 miles each at the nook teller machine.

if it’s your first campsite villager, you have no choice but to let them stay. however, any past that can just be ignored and they’ll go away the next day

Yeah, the first camper after you build the Campsite is a Smug villager you have to keep. After that you get mostly full control on future villagers
