So wait i’m kinda confused can someone clarify: I time jump using the move out method of going forward one month saving then returning back to present day. Present day the plot has the villager in boxes, I typically save and then jump to the next day.

Should I not be jumping to the next day? Should I just save it on my current day and wait for the plot to clear naturally? Is this what causes a villager to instantly move in?

No, what I meant was, if you did not want it to to autofill, you should have stayed on the day the plot became empty. By jumping another day past that, you have a chance of the plot filling.

Since you already emptied your plot, you had to stay on that specific day to prevent it from auto filling, if you wanted to have a villager search.

There should be 5 wasps and 2 furniture items along with 15 or 20 (don’t remember which) stacks of 500 bells each day assuming you have eligible trees to have them be in, which refers to cedar and hardwood trees that don’t already have anything in them that you missed the previous day. this means fruit and bell trees are excluded too

Male villagers will only use caps tagged as free and gifting them 24 womanly caps will replace other caps from their storage. well you missed may day, which is now available in 2021. there's reese and cyrus event in june as well, if you go back in 2020 in august there's firworks, and you can swim in the ocean. then there's halloween,turkey day, toy day, the new year countdown, and festivale as well. Also dreams were added and Gullivarr try looking in #tour-guide
