You should not do that on another person's island, it can reset what other people have done because progress doesn't get saved. It's inconvenient but you should leave through the airport, it's the most respectful way of visiting another person's island

In the future, save before entering the tent, and as soon as the camper suggests a villager and it's one you want to keep, just close the game and go back until they pick a villager you want gone

Fruit trees would contain fruit, but if they are bare then iirc, there is no real way to tell the difference. You can get wood from trees without cutting them down using a flimy axe

Yes, you can get the 6 eggs from different sources in your island. Water egg is from fishing, stone egg is from hitting rocks, earth eggs are buried in the ground (in the same way fossils are), sky eggs can come from popping balloons, leaf eggs are from trees (shaken down like fruit) and wood eggs are from chopping trees, they can be a drop in place of wood

Yes, there can only be one resident representative (player who starts the island) and they complete the tutorial and tasks with nook as well as some of the key game moments. It's not too bad sharing an island after that as each player can really do their own thing, but you can't really have your own island with your own villagers if you have opposing views to the person you're playing with

You will need empty plots, yes. only plot 3-5 requires you to place in your own items to the plot for it to be open. Plots 7-10 you can just unlock by going to Nook and asking to sell some land, then villagers can move in freely

Do you mean amiibo cards? You can purchase them and spawn in certain villagers with them

amiibo is cards you can get of the villagers (anyone you want) and they will come to your campsite, and eventually move in

you have to scan them a few times to for them to move in
