I have a villager who ask me to leave, they pack tomorrow. I have an amiibo I'd like to replace them with. But usually campsite amiibo needs 3 days to ask to come live on the island. Plus I already have someone in my campsite. So I'm confused

an amiibo can kick someone if you have 10+ villager no matter if there is someone moving out or not, you won't skip the 3 days quest, were you worried about the timeline of it all ? it doesn't have have to be consecutives days, or consecutive amiibo scan even

"Gifted" refers to an animal villager who has been given gifts from the player, thus they might not have their default housing interior anymore, & they may wear other clothing pieces that were given to them, including custom designs.

"Ungifted" refers to a villager who has NOT been given gifts from the player, so they will still have their default housing interior & outfits.

I meant, in order to get a move-out request from a thought-bubble event.
Campsite tourists won't be able to replace them either until you have 10 filled plots. They will say that the island is full, and you would need to buy and place another plot to invite them.

I have a similar issue, but on HHP; I had a set BGM for each facility (e.g. I set K.K. Fusion as the music for my restaurant but days later, it's suddenly set on shuffle so K.K. Fusion is not permanently set anymore.

You actually can reuse the same plots multiple times, the game will act as if it's alternate locations and they won't override each other
It's good to fill the whole grid though, it gives you bonus points for your decorator rank

Kinda strange, but since rocks can be moved to a new random spot by breaking them and waiting a day, it shouldn't be an issue. There should at least be 6 total unless there's nowhere for them to spawn

If it got broken somehow, I would guess it would spawn another one you could get to the next day, don't know for sure though

you need a shovel, and if you press A you can hit the rocks on your island
it'll drop items such as clay, stone, iron nuggets and gold nuggets
you can hit a rock up to 8 times in a row, but it pushes you back every time, so stand at one of the diagonal corners of the rock and dig 2 holes in the ground to prevent yourself from being pushed backwards

The plot will likely autofill in the three days it takes to invite the amiibo character, but as long as you talk to the autofilled villager at least once after they move in, you can use the invited amiibo villager to kick them out.

Bullying villagers does not increase their chance to ask to move. It's all rng. Though higher friendship does have a higher chance of interactions with one of those interactions being a move-out bubble. The difference isn't very significant though.

Once a villager moves out the cool down is 15 days I believe.

It can increase the odds a bit, but not really by a whole lot. It's really a luck game. They won't ask to move out if you never speak to them though. You gotta talk to them at least once.

You could maybe remove flowers so you would be more likely to have ground-walking bugs. There is no tree-spawning bugs currently in the Northern hemisphere season.
But honestly I wouldn't recommend to alter your main island just for the tarentula.
I've an island full of furniture, flowers and trees but still come across at least 2-3 per week.
It is hard to find rare critters when you're specifically looking for them, but you'll eventually get it at an unexpected moment!

If you're talking about just the design itself, you can choose "display as painting" to put the custom design on the wall, but it will kinda stick out of the wall a little bit and won't support the transparency of the design. But if you're wanting it to place it flush with the wall, and with transparency then like what CatRule2026 said, a glow in the dark sticker would probably be best.

Honestly, my advice is to take a break when it starts to tire you out. The game at its foundation is grindy. You're turning a deserted island into a paradise. It's tedious and hard work. To make it more fun for myself, I make up drama and lore. That way I am entertaining myself with villager interactions and creating a story. There isn't rly a way to make the grind more fun, but as long as you have a goal in mind to look towards, it at least makes the grind worth it.

Animal Crossing is a game meant to be played over the long term: it takes about a year just to complete the critters collections, participate in all the events, and collect the seasonal DIY recipes. Not talking about everything else that isn't locked behind specific seasons, but still take a while to achieve. Things unlock little by little!

Right now, it's easy to feel "behind" when social media is flooded with fully decorated islands, their dreamy villagers, beautifully furnished houses, and people having full catalogs and plenty of recipes. But these are people who've been playing for a long time (up to six years), more importantly, people who are deeply dedicated to the game to have stuck with it this long.

You're just getting started, in a few days or weeks, you'll have unlocked more QoL features, some recipes, and furniture, ideas will start flowing. You can already start watching some tips & tricks videos and learning what to do daily on your island to earn more objectives and, consequently, it could make you find the game more engaging. 😉

You cannot. You can get patterns from talking to Sable you can use to customize certain items, but this doesn't give you more custom design slots

Yes to be clearer, Sable patterns are stored in a different place. It is always nice to get them all as it offers extra patterns you can use alongside your dedicated 100 custom patterns slots (and 100 pros ones).

Yes, they'll still have their gifted furniture. When you edit a home via HHP, it’s basically just a static layer over everything. So when they move, that HHP layer disappears and their house resets to its default look, but they still carry all their gifted furniture with them and can eventually display it

You only need to water the black roses once with a golden watering can to have the gold flag turned on. You can switch back to a normal watering can until you get one gold rose from each black rose you have watered. Having visitors water them will also up the chances of the flowers spawning new flowers. The gold rose will eventually come through on one of the spawns.

That’s not uncommon unfortunately, a lot of folks usually spend several IRL hours trying to get a move-out bubble. You can try and “reset” your RNG by syncing back to real time and starting to process over again, that might help. Otherwise just keep trying and you’ll get one eventually!

There's one advantage to not unlocking cooking until you absolutely need to: you won't dilute the villager crafting pool with cooking recipes.

So if you're still aiming for a DIY recipe, you have a higher chance of your villager crafting it without 50-something cooking recipes added into the mix.

Personally I didn't mind at the time but it did mean that I still don't have certain recipes 6 years later lol. If you're like me who prefers not to trade as much as possible I think I could've lived without food for a little longer.

Some food recipes have a nice decorative flow, but if you're just starting the game, I would also advice you to skip it until you feel to have enough DIY recipes. Cooking was introduced 1.5 years after the game has been released so, most of people already collected many dupe from their washed bottles and villagers, and lost interest into doing it, so it was a nice upgrade to bring that feature back. But for new players yeah, it can be far more annoying than useful to halve your chances of collecting DIY recipes.

Okay I just did some more research. This is about villager furniture inventory and what transfers when they get adopted. There's a reason why I thought furniture didn't transfer, and why I only kept reading about random bugs and creatures from anecdotes all over the Internet: housewares (aka floor furniture) does not transfer to the new island but miscellaneous furniture (aka items that can go on surfaces) do. So gifting them, say, robot heroes and beds shouldn't matter.

The one thing I can't figure out for real is Isabelle (with HHP dlc) empties out the furniture inventory. Sure it reset it to default, but do they still have those items in their inventory? I guess I could just experiment.

Otherwise it seems like the only way for me to not annoy people that take my villagers is to just houseware gift bomb them 32 items...cuz right now I'm sure their entire inventory is food

it depends on the traffic of that treasure island that’s why it crashes and not because of dropping items

It can break the island, since they're automatically set to regenerate the items, so dropping them doubles them and can glitch things when everyone leaves the island. Please don't drop items on treasure islands unless the owner specifically says it's a catalogue island. Most treasure islands have trash cans you can use to dispose of any items you picked up but don't want to take home. (Also generally most TIs unless specified, don't allow cataloguing)

It doesn't crash the islands though, just makes it so that the owner has to go in and manually reset everything.

If you have the DLC, if you spend over 20 minutes actively decorating a villager's vacation home, they may gift you a copy of one of the wallpapers, floorings, or rugs you used in their vacation home, including Saharah-exclusive ones. I used this method to get the Saharah items I was missing.
It's time-consuming and probably a bit unethical lol but here's the entire walkthrough of how I exploited this mechanism:

• Take the orders of the villagers whose requests would unlock in the HHP catalog the flooring/wallpaper/rugs which you want for yourself. (You can find this information on some sites like Nookipedia or Catalogue.ac)
• Basically decorate nothing (other than opening the required furniture), only place the flooring/wallpaper/rug that you wish to obtain, just make sure to move one piece of furniture at least every 59 seconds for 20 minutes, so that the game doesn't register you as being inactive
• When completing the order, the villager should have some dialogue about how you took your time/went to such great lengths for them/etc, it means you did successfully make the game think you did heavy decorating and deserve an additional reward
• Leave the plot, then come back and chat with the villager. They will give you a random copy of one the flooring/wallpaper/rugs you used in their home as thanks.
  If you don't want to leave villagers with empty vacation homes (though you can always fix those later), you can also do normal decorating, while trying to also only use flooring/wallpaper/rugs you want to get from them

Hi, continue the main line and you'll unlock all those things 😉
Buildings and villager houses (except for the resident services itself / village center place) can be moved by talking to Nook when you will get the resident services building. You will be able to move one building per day, in exchange to a rather small bells cost.
Island remodeling tools to change cliffs and water cells are something you will get post-credits, so after you got ||your first K.K slider's show|| on your island.

Edit: I just saw there is the beach just below on south, so it won't be possible at all.
Bridge require 4 cells on width and 3 to 5 cell on length to be placed on, but you can't put them so close to a cliff, neither to a staircase.
They also need at least two extra cells in "front" of each part to be able to cross it.
There is nothing you can do in this specific setup without changing everything.

If you really wish to keep a bridge here, you could always mimic a 2x4 fake one placing planks custom patterns, but you will still have a small dirt border around it.

Honnestly the fastest way is to trade online, for example on Nookazon. materials like wood, stone, gold, fish baits... always are in high demand. You can get many NMT from them as it became a second popular currency alongside bells.

If you're playing exclusively in single player though, it is indeed a bit hard. NMT cost 2000 NM and the only way to farm them is by making NM main achievements and NM quick tasks.

Those are the most common ones in March, but there are other, not so rare, but a bit less common.

If you have turnips in your pocket on something like a thursday (when selling prices are bad) and time travel backwards to like wednesday (when selling prices were good), they'll spoil.
But what happens if you rewind all the way back to Sunday and buy more turnips, go to Wednesday (where you already saw the selling price was good) and sell them then?
Does it work to keep the price the first time you saw what they are for that Wednesday, or do the turnip prices get set for the whole week on Monday instead of Sunday, thereby making that plan impossible?

If you’re in the northern hemisphere then the window to catch one is from 4PM-9AM, make sure you’re trying to fish in that timeframe. They have a relatively low spawn rate, so as long as you’re in that timeframe it’s just a matter of time before you catch one. It has a medium shadow, if that helps. But concerning the price itself, from experience, it varies a lot. People are able to suggest only some bells, and other promise several millions with plenty of extra NMT, there are no actual rule.

No villagers are permanent, you can always replace them.
There is also no limit on the amount of Amiibo you can use, but you can only have up to 10 villagers living on your island.

In order to invite a villager using their Amiibo card, you would need to invite them 3 times at the campsite, on 3 different days. They will eventually ask to join your island, and you will be able to select which villager you want to replace with that one if you already reached 10 villagers.
