they should be fine, if they dont start growing after 1 day you can always move them to grow in another spot and then move them once theyre fully grown. but bushes usually only need the 1x1 space to grow

Ahh I see. Yeah, that seems to be a common issue when placing outside, since you cant just pick it up and move it. It is probably because of the size of the item, with it being a 1x1 item, it will usually stick to the edge closest to wear youre placing it.

They dont give recipes afaik, the clothes can be changed by setting outfits to the mannequins but not individually, I think they might all have similar dialogue, and you cant kick them out or stop them from roaming

Happened to me too. I think Lelani opens 2 rooms at a time, you don't have to do both in a day, but both of the rooms need to be done for her to open 2 new ones tomorrow. At least that is what it seems like based on my experience

As long as you haven't said yes or no, you can close without saving. Might be you have to convince them again to move in, but then they might pick a different villager (it's a random pick)

So you can redo the process until they pick the one you want out

Yes, the first three can get filled simultaneously. After that, it's one villager from a mystery island per day. You can invite a villager in boxes from someone else's island though.

I'm heartbroken, I got one of my favorites in the campsite, and I'd been resetting so she'd pick a villager I actually wanted gone.. I've been at it for hours. I've never accepted or denied, just restarted as soon as she suggested kicking out a good villager.. Now she's flat-out refusing to come to my island. I don't understand, what happened? :(

You'll be able to persuade her again!! Sometimes they just say no, but if you keep pestering they will always either play the game again or agree to move without the game. It takes a while sometimes but it will work!

Nope you can!! I remember trying to get Poppy through campsite several months ago and it took something like 4 hours and I think 29 resets when she suggested someone I didn't want 🥹 if she's refused several times in a row it's just poor RNG. If you keep trying it will work eventually

I have a question: Thanks to Katrina I got Luck with Belongings so when I take a boat tour with Kapp'n, I should get one of the rare islands (season, shooting stars and so on). I try to get to the Cherryblossom or Summer Island, to catch some of the seasonal insects and fish. However, everytime I try to take a boat tour, Kapp'n always brings me to the winter or bamboo island... I already reseted about 10 times. Does Katrina's fortune lock the available boat tour islands or am I just incredibly unlucky? 🫠

I believe winter and bamboo islands are counted as special islands which you get with the luck with belongings fortune, so it could be that you're just unlucky

but im not sure if some mystery islands are season locked

Oh then it's just really poor RNG however with the hotel you can now take two boat tours per day if you've worked on the hotel!! You could always try going on another one after your first to see if you get something different since it should still be a guaranteed rare island

Celeste only shows up when there are shooting stars but she doesnt necessarily show up every time there are shooting stars. If it's the beginning or end of an hour and youre not seeing a lot of shooting stars, that just means its a small shower, not a heavy one, and the shooting stars might not be seen while you play.

The dlc is easy to complete! You can do the whole thing in one day by decorating 30 houses. It also gives you a lot of cool stuff like being able to decorate villager homes on your island, and exclusive furniture items like counters and division walls ^w^

If you want to speed run it just open the boxes for the required furniture and call it good. You can always go back and redecorate at your leisure

They exist, but theyre not the same lucky, so they won't recognize you or anything, and you cant invite them (for obvious reasons 🤣) they'll just have dialogue like "sorry you are catching me at a time like this" or "im moving out" etc

you'll have to cover the water at the top first, build the cliff to where you want the waterfall to reach, and then use the waterscaping tool on the edge of the cliff

when there's water there you can't modify the cliff, but if you temporarily cover up the water you can move the cliff to the spot you want the water to reach

i think you can invite amiibos to the campsite as soon as you get it (not exactly sure when that is)

You would have to do the DIYs requests three times to have your amiibo villager ready then wait for one of your nine to ask to move out. Once the plot is empty, you can invite the amiibo character back to your campsite and have them move into the empty plot. They cannot kick villagers out of houses until you have all ten plots sold.

theres two ways to remove paths, one way is to equip grass with the path tool and do that. and the second way is to equip the same type of path youre trying to remove and doing it that way, have you tried both?

The bamboo island trick got patched awhile ago. They have the same spawn rate on mystery islands as they do your own. I only use the mystery island trick because its a smaller space to focus on. Just gotta be patient, or aim for a tarantula island specifically.

Mole crickets are infuriating, for sure. Honestly id say not really, unless youre super desperate for one, cuz you have the same odds of em on your own island and at least there youd have other stuff to do while you wait- plus you can go in and out of buildings to reset bug spawns.

I'm resetting the intro for a specific island shape and want to calculate the odds, i'm referencing this reddit post (https://www.reddit.com/r/AnimalCrossing/comments/g7mc0c/all_possible_default_map_layouts/) to see how many islands there are, but does the game completely randomly pull from all of these island shapes, or will it always pull specific slots? (e.g. you'll never see 4 left side river shapes in one reset, so far ive noticed it seems to always be 2 and 2 of something but i havent done many while taking close notice yet)
