Aside from trading, doing lots of Nook Miles+ tasks is a good way. If you do even just the multiplier ones daily, you'll rack up a good bunch pretty quickly! And ofc because they are infinite, you can get a good amount even in one day

Hey guys, was there some update that made reporting villagers to Isabelle actually viable or was I just lucky? I started a new Island after a long break and Im taking things slow, so I have 6 villagers and not buying more land for now. I always want the starting villagers to move out quickly becaus of their basic houses and I didnt like one of the 2 anyways so I reported her to Isabelle even tho I rememberer it not bringing anything and then bang. On the next day she walks with a thought bubble, I talk to her and she asks if she should move 😅 so I wanna know if the reporting did something or if I was just insanely lucky. (I still talked a lot with the villager and according the Nook Phone she was a close friend)

No they can, they just have a really low spawnrate! You can try scattering trash near a building, and then going in and out of the building to refresh critter spawns until you see a fly 🙂 I caught mine that way

You're probably doing nothing wrong, unfortunately it's just really luck based. The game mechanic was not designed with people manually evicting villagers in mind. This below is essentially the best method you can use, but in the end it's just up to luck; the method isn't doing any tricks to the game, it just speeds up the normal process by eliminating cooldowns and removing wait times via time travel, and that's really all you can do to make it easier, unfortunately. Hope you get them out soon 🍀

I have another tip for spawning flies, used fireworks only spawn flies and no ants, but if you dont have any of those you can use rotten turnips or trash but create a 1 square moat around it so that ants can't spawn. You also want to approach the trash slowly bc the fly can be hard to see sometimes they can rest on the trash or fly around and you might miss it if you run past

I have spoiled turnips on a wide area of non-dirt path, so no ants spawn on them. But no flies do either.

I think I should still see/hear flies flying away. From what I see of other people’s videos, they even fly back to where they landed.

To unlock the museum, give 5 different critters (bugs, fish, or sea creature) to Tom Nook.
• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

New to the game here, for my island layout dose it matter which one I pick? And how do you get good villagers or start with?

For the island layout, I personally recommend choosing one where resident services isn't close to the airport, but also not too far, but pick whatever you think is best. You start off with 2 villagers, 1 with a sisterly personality, and another with a jock personality, they are completely randomised.

As for finding better villagers, that's something that will come up later on. When Timmy and Tommy ask you to build a bridge, that's when I'd start searching. You can search via NMTs (nook miles tickets), which can be redeemed when resident services is upgraded.

There is not anything official like that, no. And it would not help that much with stars anyways, the cap is 20 wishes a night, the rest give you no star fragments

You can get more if people from other islands come wish on your island, their wishes contribute to your star fragment total too, but for you it's 20 tops ^^

Also, the beach does not override older star fragments when the spawn cap is full, the remaining ones get queued and it spawns more once you clear some space instead

You should first see for yourself if you're satifyied with the singleplayer experience
Multiplayer makes progress much faster because of trading for furniture, clothing and DIYs, but is not necessarily what Nintendo had in mind for the average player as ACNH was designed to be a very slow-paced game

Other than travelling to other islands/hosting other players on your island, other things that are locked to having NSO (Nintendo Switch Online) is the ability to eventually visit "dream islands" (copies of other players' islands that you can freely visit with no impact on their actual island) and the ability to eventually download custom design patterns made by others for clothing or custom paths

hello, i finished the furnitures for the 3 new villagers & have village hunt for these. surprisingly the first of three is punchy.

I'm surprised because thing is before i could even get the build the log bridge quest, i visited airport out of curiosity & there orville gave me miles ticket that was supposedly from tom nook. i invited apple back then. then the build a bridge thing happened & i somehow got punchy & fauna through my friends' donated tickets.

so thing is i am expecting first villager to be apple? but instead i got punchy. i'm worried that second villager might become fauna & the third becoming random because somehow i did wrong in inviting apple before even getting the log bridge quest.

i just wanna know what's the case cuz if i ain't getting apple on third, might as well hunt now

I believe the order in which villagers will come when you do this task is randomised. Apple will come, she will fill one of the property areas when punchy moves in.

How to MAKE BELLS, the SIMPLE Way:

1. Play the stalk market: buy turnips at a low price and sell them high.
2. Dive and catch sea creatures to sell back to Nook's Cranny.
3. Grow stuff (fruits, flowers, pumpkins, etc) and sell to Nook's Cranny.
4. If you have NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting the trade channels in this server and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

Scorpions only appear at night. You have 2 options to catch it. One is to create a safe space with dug holes all around it that you jump into if the scorpion chases you. You can net it from the safe spot. The other is if you see it before it becomes angry, pull out your net and slowly approach. When it shakes its tail, stop and wait. Then inch forward. When it starts tail shaking again stop and wait. You’ll eventually get close enough to get it.

it's random if they place the clothes as mannequins
to make them wear them, you would need to give them other things so that they replace the mannequins
or if you have the dlc, you can edit their house and remove them and the clothes will enter their inventory

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.

If you don't have 10 villagers yet you need to place a plot for the camper to be able to move in.

You'll need to move in your first camper, which should be in a couple days at the latest! Once they're moved in, you should be able to buy plots of land from Tom Nook. You'll see villagers on mystery islands only when you have an empty plot, and you can only invite one villager from mystery islands per day!

are you breaking your rocks? if you do, stop, only one respawn every day on the 6 you should have. If not they might be on the higher floors of your island. If you need iron you can try the rocks on mystery islands (these one you can break once you are done) or pop some ballons, especially the blue ones for a chance of a few iron nuggets
