I found these images of some castles this player built. I love the look of those pointed spires on the towers. After looking closely, I figured out that they are black Kids' Tents and they're placed directly on top of the towers (you can see the corners of the tents clipping through the tops of the towers)

How do I do this? I'm assuming this requires some form of glitch but I haven't been able to figure it out so far

I believe the castle tower has the “has surface” tag which means items can be placed in top of it. If that’s the case, then you just need to be standing right up next to the tower facing it, and then place the item and it will go on top

I know you can place tiny items so it’s just a matter of trying it with the kids tent

Unfortunately you won't be able to put the kids tent on the castle tower unless you have modded your switch which is against nintendo tos and it's not a glitch in itself

Essentially it's as simple as just placing down more furniture and getting new villagers and buildings if you don't have all yet. How you place the furniture does not matter, as long as it's noy absolutely cramped (more than 45 items in any 8x8 area)

If she's there, there is one, it can be a light one or a heavy one. If Isabelle didn't announce anything and your villagers aren't talking about it, it's probably a light one

• Shooting stars only happen between 7 pm and 4 am. There are two main types:

• Heavy meteor showers: These are usually announced by Isabelle and discussed by villagers, with stars shooting in groups of 5 to 8 roughly every minute or so during the whole night. These are pretty rare, averaging around 10 per year.
• Light meteor showers: Only a handful of 5-star groups shoot each hour, if said hour has a clear sky. These average between 5-10 per month.
• Note that weather patterns use a seed and are set in stone for your island, including when the shooting stars will appear, to the second. i’m yet to see a single bug on a tree, and none of my villagers have ever had fleas

With the flea there isn't an easy trick to it unfortunately. Its spawning works different from other bugs. The best way to find it is to just keep an eye on your villagers when they are outside

For walking stick, you can go to a mystery island (make the flight during its spawning hours), and demolish everything except the trees. Then it's a matter of walking back and forth around the island until walking stick spawns; it's the best method for tree bugs in general. Just be careful, as if you are running with B, the bugs get scared off the tree a lot easier

Hello, I’m trying to confirm what nook miles reward is between trashed tools and bona fide bone finder? I see in nookipedia.com it’s hitting a rock 8 times and getting 8 different items but other places it’s hitting a rock while eating a fruit. I find it really hard to hit the rock 8 times in the game because I’ll keep hitting the rocks and move out of the way for it to give me another item in my place but then it doesn’t give me anything when I hit it. Any help is much appreciated!

It is called Rock-Splitting Champ and it is for getting 8 materials from one rock. https://catalogue.ac/i/a57

The best way to do it is to make sure there is one full space surround the rock on all sides, then dig two holes (side by side) behind you. It basically wedges you in so you won’t get pushed away

Yes you are doing it right. If you would breed them it would not be a guaranteed clone. Cloning is also more space efficient than breeding anyways, since each "unit" takes up only one tile compared to two. You're doing nothing wrong, just having quite the bad luck - it's only a five percent chance for each flower to make a clone if you don't have visitors from other islands watering them

No way to do that, unfortunately. They would have to unlock them in their own HHP progression and craft them themselves

If you bought the DLC as standalone, everyone should have access to it. It's pretty quick to rush through if you don't put thought into designs and only place the required items to get the pillar and counter unlocks. ^^

Hi! You can definitely get that villager back from your friend if they move off their island. They’ll also remember you that way! If you talk to a villager that you already have that’s moving out on another island, then they will just mention to you that they’re leaving, they won’t ask to move in on your island or anything even if you have an empty plot ^^

If your trees are pink then they’ll be floating around your island sporadically, if you don’t see any then just keep running around and you should run into some eventually

Hi if you’re trying to get your 6th villager to move in (since you said you have 5 already including the two claimed plots), then that 6th villager will actually be a campsite villager! You have to set up your campsite first and invite whoever shows up there in order to progress in the game. After you move in that campsite villager, you can hunt for villagers again on mystery islands (you can also adopt from other players at this point too)! Just keep in mind for plots 7-10 that they will not show up on islands unless you have a plot ready for them, and you can only invite one per day ^^ I hope this helps!

Hi! Do you mean the stalk market? If that’s what you mean, then people close their islands up since turnip prices only last for so long before they change again. They change at 12:00 pm every day, so there’s two different turnip prices each day. You can’t time travel backwards if you have good turnip prices or else they’ll reset ^^

to expand your storage, talk to tom nook. you will recieve more storage everytime you upgrade your house, and you can get even more storage upgrades after your storage is complete. your wallet can only hold 99,999 bells, but you can but more in your pockets, 99,000 per slot. you get more slots from nook miles at the nook stop.

There's really no objective answer to that, as long as you have 220 or fewer fully mature trees, they only have a positive effect on island rating ^^ so I guess you could say that the best number is one that when combined with the number of fruit trees, totals to 220. But nature points, which trees give, can also be gotten from many other sources, such as flowers, shrubs and DIY furniture

Designs can’t just be taken down, you have to replace them with new designs. The only way to go back to the default ones that villagers cannot buy would be to report the design that’s currently hanging

I'd say no, the map is mostly up to player preference and most maps are rather generic, and once you make enough progress in the story you will unlock features that allow you to change most of the islands' terrain to fit your practical or esthetical needs anyways. But a few parts of the island cannot be customized, notably the beaches, beach rocks, river deltas, pier, airport and resident services plaza placements. So once you choose your layout, you will not be able to move/change those later

I made the same mistake in the early days. I created a secondary player and had that player hang some random designs that I then reported with my main player’s character. It is a lot of extra work because you have to get to the stage of upgrading a tent to a house before it’ll let you remove that profile. But worked for me

And I didn’t feel bad about reporting someone unnecessarily because it was my own secondary account, and I had already deleted the account right after lol

The only way to do a full redesign is if you have the DLC and have unlocked that feature. Without the DLC, you can only gift them items and hope they will use them. But you’d have no control over where those items are placed if they do put them out

There's this new Wedding Event (on Harv's island), where I buy Wedding furniture in exchange of heart crystals

But Wilbur offered Delivery/Liquidation

I get they're to send items to my Home Storage, but why?
I can't just fly back home? and which items are they delivering me? The ones I used on the picture were taken from my Home Storage? Or is it just for the Wedding items? Heart Crystals need to be delivered too?
Or everything I'm carrying at the moment with me?~~

I found the answer: "If you arrive with full pockets, it's so that you could clear your inventory to receive the heart crystals and the single furniture item prize."

It is only in case we have full pockets, lol, I was overthinking it!

Hey i want so ask about villager hunting so after the campsite vilanger thing i have to sell plot what does that mean? And when i can do a villager hunting or can i if i am using nook miles ticket and go to the island will i find villager or you have to build the land first and then do the hunting cuz i am afraid if i setup the land first and i dont get the villager i want within one day the game will give me random villager the next day so question is can i hunt the villager without the setup the plot so i dont waste my nook miles ticket go to the island with empty villagers

Talk to Tom Nook and he will have the option to "Sell land" (it might be unter the infrastructure option). And you need to set up the plot first before you can get a new villager (either from NMT islands or other players')

You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.
