You MUST have an unsold, empty plot available to invite a villager from another player's island, or to find villagers on mystery islands (and you can only invite one villager from a mystery island per day). A villager in boxes, or a house with the "I moved out" sign is NOT an empty plot.

As the Nookbot said, you can only invite one per day from mystery islands so if you have already invited one, then hold off for the day or it can autofill with a random villager. If you have Nintendo Online, you could also visit someone else who is offering a villager you might want in #villager-trade or #701251557458444395 and sell a piece of land so that they can move in. Villagers can always be removed when they ask to move out or with amiibos so you're not stuck with anyone permanently!

Not really, no. They might grump at you with some of the dialogue but you can't make anyone hate you/the island so much that they leave, nor can you ignore them to make them feel so unwelcome that they go

Once that villager is moved in, you should be able to talk to Tom and get the option of selling land which allows you to obtain other villagers. Just note that you have to invite amiibo villagers three times so best not to sell the land too early! Until you reach 10, amiibo villagers will simply move in, not kick anyone out just in case you were planning to use them for that

If you have Nintendo Switch Online, definitely.
Turnip selling prices are randomized twice a day, so if you have access to only your own island, if you're unlucky you might only get low prices for a whole week and not make a benefit (don't forget that turnips rot on the next Sunday and lose basically all their value)
But if you have NSO you can visit other's islands who have high selling prices and make a huge profit

4. If you have NSO (Nintendo Switch Online), trade with other players by visiting the trade channels in this server and seeing where to sell your services or goods!

Time traveling does not reverse / rewind progress. You still keep all the progress, items, etc. that you've completed / acquired even if you time travel backwards.

Yes, the first camper will always be a smug, he will appear the day after the camping is built.

if u have an empty plot, u can look for new villagers by going to NMT islands. if a villager has a thought bubble over their head, there's a chance they might ask u if they should leave the island. u can ask them to stay or let them leave, entirely up to u. aside from that just get whatever villagers u like and ignore everyone else's opinions on villagers. 🙂 that's like the basics. also if u have a high enough friendship level they might give u their photo

If your MIQ is empty, every day there's a 20% chance of the plot filling with a completely random villager. Seems like you've just been lucky (or in this case unlucky?) and been consistently hitting the 80%!

No. Sea creatures/diving is honestly the most efficient way without wanting to bother with turnips or trading. Growing and selling crops can also work, but it is all slow to be honest. Bells can take a long time to accumulate without playing the turnip game or trading online - the game is a slow roll

Gyroids are basically fun little decorations that will make music/funny noises! You get them after unlocking Brewster's cafe in the museum, which gives you the ability to find gyroid fragments on Kapp'n islands or fully formed gyroids after it rains!

To get a gyroid from a fragment, bury it in the ground and water it, and when you dig it up the next day it'll be a fully-formed gyroid!

Yes by softlock I mean that there's no way to progress/do something except for restarting the game. The devs have accounted for time travel because they both don't discourage it and a lot of people will just change their switch dates/clocks because of other reasons, such as entering a different timezone so you can't get softlocked just because you time travelled a bunch. All progression events can happen on a non-specific day and still work if that makes sense

if u place 100 dresses it will count as 100 decorations, and after u get kk to perform u can delete the design from ur app

and all the dresses will disappear
