I believe you can unlock the island ratings once you build the campsite and your first camper is all moved in. After that, Tom Nook should tell you about buying more plots which is when you also can start asking Isabelle about the star rating

KK bubblegum is just one of the songs. You can check Nook Shopping each day, as you’ll have one song available for purchase from that section, and it rotates daily.

Once you’ve reached 3 stars and had your first KK concert, you can also ask KK to play a specific song (1 per visit) and then he’ll give you a copy of it

So I think you'd need a middleman/middleperson where you can take Bells from your island (or use their ABD to withdraw bells), then take the cartridge from your Switch so that your sister could then go to that island to obtain the Bells

no, you work through the things tom nook sets you to do. he should ask you to place down three plots and make items for them, then later he’ll ask you to place a campsite, and then after that you can buy up to 4 extra plots by asking him to sell some land. each one will cost 10k

the personality types also matter at first, so if the villagers you invited don’t match those (or that type has already been fulfilled), they won’t show up until the last four plots 😊 once you start moving villagers out, any personality can move in. it’s just at the set-up of the game

You only need 6 before they can start to ask about moving out. Hitting with a new does not help to kick out a villager faster, and speaking with them has only a very small affect on overall friendship scores. You do need to speak with them at least once before they can ask about moving out!

Wet suits allow you dive into the ocean (even straight from the airport pier) and swim around to any shore. This rule is in place simply to prevent any attempted scam opportunity. It is somewhat common practice for users to request no wet suits as well, when they have opened their islands to many visitors!

It's only supposed to appear during rain, and most sources I can find says that snow doesn't count as rain and the coelacanth can't be caught during snow.
But from what I understand, all rain is replaced with snow during winter, meaning the coelacanth wouldn't be available. But sources also say that the coelacanth is supposed to be available all year, which would contradict this.
Does anyone know how this works?
The same question applies to other rain-only creatures, like the snail.

You'll get new villagers as part of Tom Nook's main quest! He should ask you to build a campsite soon, and after that you'll get your 6th villager. Once your sixth villager moves in, you'll have the option to buy plots of land from Tom Nook to invite new villagers!

As for getting ones you want, it's really down to luck with visiting mystery islands or the campsite, unless you find folks offering them in boxes to take!

From what I know about time travel it’ll still act like the same day even if you go back if the last day you were on was just the villager asking to move. After they’re in boxes though, it’s my understanding that any backwards Tt progresses stuff by a day (although tbh I could be wrong)

Just to keep things simple I’d recommend doing everything you need to in terms of move in/out before going back to real time

You'll need to ask at the Nooks what the turnip prices are. There's an AM price (8am-11.59am) and a PM price (midday until closing at 10pm). There are online sites you can use to track the prices and the changes to determine whether the prices will go up a little, a lot, or fall

The goal is always to buy lower from Daisy and sell higher

If your prices don't work out (or the time that you need to sell them isn't convenient) then there are channels here where people post their sell prices which might be superior to yours and you can go to their island to sell ( #daisy-nookling-ads and #698949096601419827 )

If you get to two weeks of in-game time, the advice generally is to return to your normal day, speak to everyone, and then slowly go day by day again for the two week timespan

It usually has to do with either your internet speed or firewalls, so there’s not really anything else that can be done in-game when it’s to do with the connectivity in your location/the location of someone you’re trying to visit

• You obtain the Golden Watering Can DIY once you achieve your first 5-star rating. Also, lilies-of-the-valley can spawn as long as your island keeps its 5-star rating!

• The basic idea is to fill your island with plants and furniture, as Isabelle usually suggests. So if she says to add flowers, do it - or at least, wait for them to be fully bloomed (to get the max points from them) ; Same thing if she hints at adding furniture.

• You need at least 5 villagers to be fully moved onto your island.
• Unlock the museum (can either be the tent or the upgraded building).

To unlock the museum, give 5 different critters (bugs, fish, or sea creature) to Tom Nook.
• If both of these are met, Tom Nook will announce that Resident Services will be closed the following day for construction. The day after that you’ll have the building! (You can time travel to make this process quicker.)

I would say, go for villagers you like. Otherwise check the layout of your island and if you like that, you can always kick the villagers out later on.

If you have already exited the dialogue, it will have autosaved and unfortunately there's no way to change the choice. The only way to (possibly) pick someone else is to immediately exit out in the middle of the dialogue and force close the game

There would be very convoluted ways of having Bob adopted by someone, e.g. a middleman, and then using time travel to try to target the villager you want to get out and then adopting Bob back to your island but it depends how much effort you want to go through to achieve that

You might also find whoever is in your campsite in the villager trade channels, or request them, and time travel to get your targeted villager out and adopt their version of the campsite visitor

It's not like it's the one and only time you could ever get that villager if you have NSO, especially if they're suggesting kicking someone you don't want to lose

You can also buy amiibo cards online/in stores (e.g. Target in the US) so that could be your campsite villager and with amiibos, you can choose who they kick
