Yeah it's basically just it making it seem faster, and the stats are basically (Heroic is still higher, but not by a worthy margin) the same as Heroic on the drops anyway.

Thats the fastest INITIAL time to kill without any stacking requirements.

When other builds like strikers and tipping scales start stacking, it will fall behind.

To be fair, dorky is 100% right. In terms of the build being the "fastest ttk ever", is dead wrong. Like dorky pointed out. Additionally, yes, you did misinterpret what was said. At the initial start of an encounter, yes, you will have the fastest ttk out of any generic crit build. Even striker. That's before anyone has any stacks. The high end build you posted is stackless. It gives the most up front damage. But it'll quickly be dusted by any typical striker build before you even secure your 3rd kill

When you come into the community channels such as asking questions or build advice, expect the community to give you an answer even if you're asking 1 specific person. People have lives and if others know the answer to your question, it's good to know the community has your back. That's all I have to say on that

I completely forgot mantis amplifies damage by 50%, I found out yesterday that losing 10% headshot damage in 10% weapon handling from the glove slot and replacing it with overdogs is a massive increase in damage too. So that's 50% plus 30%, I'm not sure if they're on the same amp in the damage calculations, but 80% total is actually pretty damn good if it does do 80%

You don't miss anything by boosting. Anything that you gain from the story is automatically given to you if you boost. Anything that isn't given to you can be obtained by playing the game.

Been using nego a long long time. especially when everyone else had been on the heartbreaker , then striker hype trains

sacrifice is probably the higher damage option for chest on that setup. the bag is irrelevant since 2nd pc providence (gift) is the same as ceska vigilance in this context. equalizer is a safer option that is not quite as much damage but lets you squeeze in grupo or fox's. when i put forth my own build like this, i was staying within the framework of what you had built and geared my advice to squeezing damage out of those specific pieces.
either way its built is still going to be high damage, and any way we suggested it is still going to be lower top end damage than nego or striker.
just to be clear tho, the knowledge any one of us has about the game is collectively learned through rigorous field testing, and backed up by math calculations. basically we make sure whats on paper works in the field, and we challenge what doesnt. i do trust a lot of builders to step in and answer when im not available. someone like @snow cargo and quite a few others will be able to show you how builds stack up against one another mathematically, as well as, practically through demonstration. this is pretty valuable, and i think everything we do sets us apart from a lot of other communities.

The actual content is in the free section, so buy it if you like what's in the cosmetic part of the paid, but don't feel pressured.

Atm playing dv1 and already have dv2, thing is atm playing with friends dv1 and having a blast, but wanted to ask several questions regarding dv2 (mainly me wanting to lvl in dv2 as well so by the time an event happens like Hounds man I can participate in it):

1- Will me lvling up (potentially to lvl 40) affect the DZ brackets I can join? cuz I still want to play with friends in DZ, but most likely they'll be below my lvl, can I swap that bracket by using lower lvl weapons?

2- Are world Tiers gone? and if not how do they function here?

3- will me over lvling (reaching lvl 40) effect the experience my friends have when I join them in free roam (foes scale up to my lvl etc)

I think it's random, as there are times where I can run around and avoid objectives and get them, or I can clear an entire district and not get one....

Depending on your routing, its possible for kill squads to spawn in areas youre running away from and never see them.

I usually see 1-2 , a place like east mall i can see 3rd sometimes. This is when running and not waiting around

Yaahl and System Corruption are both "dz locked", however neither are...particularly useful in most builds.

While Rivens is correct, neither being useful for 'most builds', they are referring to PvE builds. In PvP, they do have some uses in terms of Anti-Pulse builds to counter pulse/spotter/flatline/heartbreaker builds

They're niche pieces at best in pvp, with the exception of Anti-Pulse sniper builds. Even built for crit they're very powerful in a coordinated group

Anti pulse crit nemesis is so deadly. I shudder at every shot I hear from nemesis 😔

Yep, PvE vs PvP in div2 are 2 different areas entirely.
It's safe to assume that most posts you see outside of #td2-pvp-discussions are going to be about PvE though.

Certain outfits and apparel pieces hide armour by default, but theres no way to do it outside of that.

Apparel is account wide, can be used by any character (after the base agent creator screen)

Generally if they dont state "store only" it means they were available in game at some point (from events and such) and may return in future.

Once upon a time, the Diamondback Exotic Rifle was locked to it, but that's changed too.
Div2 can be a little...scattered sometimes, but you learn to click with it after a while.

SKG is more focused on future games than existing ones. The laws they're proposing would give a pass for existing titles like TD2. So if you're really concerned about this I think it's safe to assume that some day TD2 will be sunset and the servers will shut down.

I'm not too worried about it because Ubisoft recently cut down the amount of active IPs they're working on and Division made the list of their top IPs. So unless there's a major shift in priorities (eg: acquisition of Ubisoft) I can see TD2 going strong for years to come. But that's all an assumption on my end.

One of the reasons existing games are excluded has to do with licensing agreements publishers make with the technology running on the backend (the stuff driving the servers). If they were to release an offline mode that would most likely involve releasing the server stack to the community so that we could run it ourselves. But very often the technology in that stack is proprietary and licensed. So they'd have to either replace it or renegotiate their license agreements (costly, time consuming). So an offline mode would be very very unlikely IMO.

SKG is a great movement though. Hope it pulls through.

How do I equip Proficiency Upgrades?

It's called Expertise, you can apply the levels you have made through Proficient items (via donating or using) and have a bonus up to 30% from the weapon/gear base dmg/armor. Expertise is nice to have but not mandatory and it's also a long and expensive journey to complete. It is not recommended to waste materials on Gear Expertise and, as previously said, nice to have for weapons and skills

You can apply Expertise levels to your items in the Tinkering menu

So, Expertise works off of base values from items, this being Weapon DMG for Weapons and Armor for Gear. It is calculated from base values: lvl40 High End Vest has 131k base armor. Let's say you have 20 Expertise. It will add 20% of that base armor (and every gear piece base armor) to your total Armor.

Usually for Hollywood it's the back up dmg that is important for clearing up enemies that don't die from the initial blast. A regular dps build with a jammer pulse and a grenade launcher is still more efficient than tip of the spear

Plenty of places to learn though, GCRock server will run regular raids where they take new players (but experienced groups won't take more than 2 new players at a time)

Not by default but there's a way around it.
If you open a cache while your inventory is full, the item drops on the ground. Deconstruct an item in your inventory to free up space and pick the item you got from the cache. Now it should be shareable

it's an old post, but from what I've just read it seems like the npcs get iframes in their dodge so they can do a roll entirely within the explosing radius and not take damage

and that's what makes them seem to arbitrarily just miss/not go off

2. For gearsets, you only need 4 pieces, not 5, not 6, just 4 to get the Gearset bonus. Yes you can mix but you have to know what the synergy is and have building basics knowledge
3. Nah, not too many, you can get DZ exclusives in certain caches like Named and Legacy (?) caches

1. lvl40 stuff, ye. Theres a side mission next to Capitol when you reach lvl40 called Mutiny Hotspot
2. In the White House next to the Quartermaster is where you can activate them, if you dont own Y1 Pass you'll have to do quests to fully unlock Specs. Not hard at all if you save them in different loadouts. Any does the work but also depends on your build and content

yeah, it was probably last season's reward? when you got the gun you got the reconfigure at the sametime. i got the bitttersweet and i got the reconfigure blueprint

if you haven't already tried logging off and back on and checking inaya, that might be an option. if you did then i dunno what else to try aside reporting a bug on it
