Yeah Striker Chest is great if you're in the Incursion/Raids, but outside of that it's a hard sell.
Fenris is not worth it.

Coyote's is great for CHC/CHD builds too. Also in the general loot pool.

One important thing to note about Coyotes though: you can't have multiple versions of the same buffs in a group, but you can have different ones active at the same time, depending on who has it.
So in a group with 2-3 others using Coyotes: you should probably drop the piece.

for the final piece.....Grupo is better than Fenris, but it's not the end of the world if you do go for Fenris.
It's just important to remember that it's not actually 10% AR damage.

div 1 player, i've maxed myself out and had lots of fun, first rpg esque game i've ever really gotten into, got the second game as a part of a steam bundle for winter (summer for you northern hemisphere weirdos) and was wondering if it was a good idea / anybody had any suggestions? im abit scared considering how many seasons and years div 2 has been going with updates, and feel like i've been massively left behind lorewise ect, that and one of the major things i loved about div 1 was not only the sense you were fighting alongside the jtf / an organised (if somewhat ineffective good force) even if the npcs were useless, and thats something ive not seen out of div 2, where im not even sure if div 2 has its own jtf esc faction

another thing i loved about div 1 was cosmetics, being that virtually nothing was out of reach, with the exception of money sometimes, but even the pre-order clothing came out later as apart of the season pass (bc i loved dressing up like the jtf lol)

anyone able to offer thoughts n stuff? would appreciate

If you haven't put more than a couple of hours in the game, make sure you do the friend referral thing (see #td2-friend-referral) to get some bonus cosmetics from the start.
You'll be fighting alongside jtf remnants and civilians, less geared than div 1 but equally 'effective'.

Currently the new player who is referred gets the stinger hunter outfit, so that would be you. The referrer gets a different outfit iirc, but not as desirable.
You can post drip pics in #divashion, but please don't spam loads, maybe just a couple a day or so.

It's the right mission location, but are you doing the non-invaded version? You need to kill Ridgeway at the end, and he isn't there on the invaded version of the mission.

Also make sure you've got the correct field research active, if you start a different one it'll stop tracking

More specifically, Tidal gave me the scope, but no matter how hard I try to get the other parts from other places, I can't get them. Guys idk if I’m just lost or feel stuck or what. I currently can play open world on heroic, clear CPs fine and what not. I’ve got a couple builds (none fully optimized) such as striker, heartbreaker, hotshot and skill HE build. I’m getting a bit dulled out playing countdown over and over so I’ve debated getting into PvP and darkzone but I feel I need to be in a group not solo (I WANT THAT YAAL CHEST). I don’t full know how to grind optimization material and which build to max first and so I feel stuck. I’d like to get to legendary and doing raids but I just don’t know how to make the leap!

TLDR: I feel stuck in heroic and unable to jump to DZ or Legendary

Shouls be easier to test there than over in a mission

Legendary is mostly about knowing how to adapt and play safe if you are not used to it

I’ve only been playing a short time and don’t want to immediately start shitting on the second game because I truly loved the first, but with limited time cosmetics, the lack of anything tactical and the fact that the npcs look so generic like they were ripped from another game and the fact that even the jtf soldiers don’t wear anything except t-shirts am I alone in feeling like everything in this game feels cheap? like the npcs have been asset ripped from another Ubisoft game? And the fact everyone always says nice things, where in the first game it was a battle with public hostility where overtime they’d pop out of their windows and cheer me on as I progressed the story (even with some level boosting and help from veteran players)

Ik going into the vibes we’re going to be different since it’s summer and it was a major critique of the game but I’m feeling extremely underwhelmed by everything

It bothered me how rikers in the first game all looked like goons that worked for two face in batman by having perfect two color outfits

I feel the hunters would’ve been better left as a mysterious faction of trained killers, knowing more about them kinda kills the intimidation factor, in addition to the spaghetti lore surrounding them when you put thought into it

actual battle music tho is a nice touch although it's hard to beat div 1s safehouse and new york power relay themes

dont like the rotating bundles too, i mean helldivers had to change it after intense community criticism of stuff disappearing and you technically dont have to pay for anything as you can grind for everything

wanting to pick up all the hunter outfits tho, atleast one of the upsides to me is that the hunter drip always is and has been really cool n ebic

You can save them with different mods by using load outs

But when you do that it takes one out and it replaces it with the other and then that one that is taken out is putting your backpack taking up space

In your backpack, the space for mods is separate from your gear and weapon inventory and isn't counted in the backpack inventory space. Once fully upgraded your backpack can hold 150 gear/weapon items and 100 mods for gear and skills.

Most gear mods you only need 3 max (and none at all in some cases)

Skill mods you just need the best version for each slot, plus some variant-specific alternatives

Equipped mods don't use up space either iirc

But you should be able to quip each individual ones. You know what I'm saying once you equipped it, it's there. It doesn't no longer get unequipped until you unequipped each different one. Like for an instance, the healer ball you want to put health on it. You know what I'm saying and repaired to armor you know what I'm saying and then the multi-seeker balls. You want to put damage mods to that one. You know what I'm saying so each individuals get each certain mods instead of doing it as one as a whole

they haven't done the mission on heroic yet but we're in master. If they complete it in Heroic will all of the modifiers just unlock?

I bought the year 1 pass which instantly unlocks gunner, technician and firewall, however they all still say to "press g to begin" and then comes up with missions to unlock them (even though I can already equip them). Is this just for some cosmetics or something?

Also, in different specs can you equip the other specs weapons? For example, if you're Gunner spec, can you change to using a flamethrower instead/

You unlock some cosmetics and weapon blueprints by completing them.

No you can't equip a different spec weapon, only the spec weapon for the spec you have active.

I think so. You need to be able to choose a specialization, which happens at level 30. One little piece of advice, don't choose a specialization at level 30. Wait until you get the level 35 milestone cache. Then open the cache before you choose a specialization.

There is a bug with the cache, doing what I suggest should avoid the bug.

Hello, I was playing Division 2 this morning. It was impossible to play because the server was lagging. My internet connection is excellent, and I even tested my internet connection. I suggest getting into this routine:

1. Sort inventory and mark items as favorite or as junk as necessary.
2. Go into Tinkering menu from within Inventory main screen.
3. Check the Library tab for any arrows. Strip Attributes and Talents as necessary.
4. Tab over to the Expertise screen and Donate All Junk.
5. Exit Tinkering menu back to Inventory main screen and Deconstruct All Junk.

This will help you fill your Library, level up your Expertise, and get you some mats.

There is no easy answer to that question. I recommend checking out the gear spreadsheet in the pins within the #td2-build-advice channel. Browse the build in there and pick out on our two to farm. I suppose I can recommend keeping a Ceska chest piece with at least two of the three things listed here:

1. High CHC attribute
2. High CHD attribute
3. Obliterate talent.

that hunter only spawns at night, and the control point needs to be cleared; there's an internal checkpoint after you've done the salute at all the grave markings.
This checkpoint persists between player sessions so you only need to do those steps once. After that just clear the control point and at night time he should spawn on a high level container box at the control point. Sometimes he'll spawn on the roof of a small building somewhat close to the monument

the minimum level of a control point is equal of your world difficulty but it can go higher, so if you play on hard and do activities even on hard it will be at lv 3 challenging or lv4 heroic

@woven quiver There's a chest Talent called "mad bomber" that allows you to "cook" the grenades, any grenade kill challenge and I throw that on.
Full Talent:

Grenade that kill an enemy are refunded.
Grenades can now be ''cooked'' by holding the fire button, making them explode earlier.
Gain 15% bonus armour while aiming grenades```

The Perfect version (":Carpenter") only boost the radius to 75%.

there's also the exotic that refunds upto 2 grenades but i don't think the radius gets increased? and you can't cook the nades with it

The cooking is the important part here, the radius is just a nice bonus.

You can do it without that, just make sure you have the base grenades selected (they do more damage), and you stun the enemy first, I like knee shots, but a skill works great.

You can change what 'nade you have on by holding down the grenade key ingame, it's a neat new-ish feature.

Yeah Ubisoft is just really bad about loading stuff, if your device is lower end sometimes you just have to wait a few minutes for stuff to render.
Kind of a pain in the ass.
Wish they would try and fix the issue of things loading poorly for lower end devices.

I actually also have some screenshots of the game loading poorly.
More proof that lower end devices need help loading areas quickly. (By this I mean if you're sprinting across the world, or loading new areas, you can find spots that aren't loaded and even find holes in the map that lead to THE ABYSS which kinda sucks.)

I modify my GPU settings not the game itself to make it look like it’s N64.

I have a i7 12th gen cpu and a 3080, 32gb of ram and DDR4 NVME SSD. I run this game beautifully at 1440p at 120fps but I have a 240hz monitor. It’s def not a low end build.

You sir have a low end pc build. I don’t, yours looks more worse than mine all together even tho I change a few settings so GPU can read and process it abit differently than how the GPU supposed to be reading code and the game process

Grand Washington Hotel is invaded this week.
Perfect week to start the Nemesis project, or get that blueprint you been waiting for.

After you get the Tidal Basin piece , change mode for invaded stronghold back to invaded. Complete again for another nemesis piece (stronghold dependent). With any 2 pieces in hand set GWH back to invaded and the blueprint will drop. Nemesis can be farmed from Marksman Rifle Target Loot after that, regardless of project completion.
