Superbullet phenomenon

It looks like a one shot on your screen, but the medic likely shot you multiple times. I have had that and a few instances of teleporting and point blank spawning NPC's on the PTS Summit Areas.

It reminds me of the game right after the release of WONY.

I have even had the opposite happen in those days. The world froze, the npcs slowed to a crawl and I did not crash. I was able to superbullet them. In some cases if you get too many NPC's at one time, their AI scripts can start to slow things down and the world will be on the verge of crash.

Most people delta when that happens, but I was able to experience it without a crash. As the NPC's died the game returned to normal.

It is really the code. The NPC's in this game have too many conditions and protocols. They conflict especially if they survive for too long. That creates the issues you experience.

This game was not supposed to be a 5-6 year experiment. This was supposed to maybe be a 3 at most year trip until the Division 3 came out.

Is this happening on the PTS server or the regular server? If it is the PTS, often it will be fixed before release.
If this is plaguing you on the regular server, I know this is going to sound bad, but just die when you find things lag too much or do something else like summit.

Respawning tends to bring things back to normal. Not always but oftentimes.

If this keeps happening, there are mods here that can get you in touch with UBI tech support to assist you. The tech support are pretty good about helping people.

You many need to verify your game files or something else. It could be a serious problem later on if someone is not informed of it. So don't feel pushed away. The important thing with Backfire is that you get to the cap for Bleed Resist, or just 100% hazpro itself.

Grand Washington Hotel is invaded this week.
Perfect week to start the Nemesis project, or get that blueprint you been waiting for.

After you get the Tidal Basin piece , change mode for District Union Arena back to invaded and complete again for another piece. with 2 pieces in hand set GWH back to invaded and the blueprint will drop. Nemesis can be farmed from MMR TL after that regardless of project completion.

its a non issue. you have those watchpoints on the alt anyways and can spend anytime if you need certain mats. wiping the alt and prespending on mats to overcap just means you probably spent points on mats you dont necessarily need a ton of. with the alt holding the points, you are better able to target the specific mats you need. youll also be able to pick up mats if you dont overcap, lessening the burden on the watch points and stretching them further.

If having full counters makes you happy, I say go for it, but you should be spending what you get to make your builds better, div2 is all about that 1% increase in stats.

different guns have different crit chance, it caps at 60%

60% is the hard crit chance cap on everything and each gun has individual crit chance/crit dmg stats that's boosted from gear/weapon mods/shd watch. On my AR builds I use a smg as a secondary so to not bottleneck the crit chance on the smg I use crit dmg weapon mods instead. Thankfully next season crit dmg mods are getting a buff to be more equal to the value crit chance mods give so my smg secondary on my AR builds will be just as good as a primary SMG build roughly

How high you can optimize is limited by your libraries stored stats. If you only have 14.5 weapon damage for pistols stored in your library you will be limited to optimize to only 14.5 for that stat. Once these stats are stored they are permanent and of unlimited use tho.

Cause if you are looking for a specific talent you first need to check if it's on a DZ only item or not, then it's good to check to see if the perfect version is even worth it cause some aren't with brand synergy or just the perfect version doesn't offer much improvement. Otherwise you'd just farm countdown or TL(targeted loot) for the brand/weapon class it belongs to.

The easy way to explain this is you loose too much going full gearset items because gear set items have 1 attribute and you need two items to get the first set bonus. Comparatively you are throwing away too much stats vs running 4 pcs of one and two brand bonuses(high end items). If you involve Ninja backpack in it just makes it even worse cause consideration for backpack talents is bigger than ninja provides.

Have you tried just replaying it yet? Also if you did it solo, try matchmaking to different players' "world". If you've mm'ed, try solo. Not much you can do really.

Cheesiest way is to use demo specialisation and shoot grenade launcher at them (could make explo damage orientated build to one shot them more reliably). No need to even use normal weapons, cause enemies just evaporate from that aoe. Alternatively make some explo turret build or hard wired seeker spam.

Shock also breaks Hollywood shields, along with the disrupt and explosives already mentioned.
So scorpio and elmo both able to break shields. Demo class grenade launcher will get a lot of ammo during the event and easily spam fire

Other specialization weapons also trigger the explosions. I find myself in a few fights running striker with an explosive sticky. It can set off a groups shields and then when each dies, I often get Minigun Ammo. I can use the minigun to set off other explosions and often get more ammo after that.

So if you are not liking the event because you don't have a skill build. Maybe just bring a long an explosive sticky or seeker mine to use your red dps build.

Still, I love this event for running my explosive drone and sticky bomb build.

DCD invaded takes me about 5 minutes to complete on heroic with 5 directives(running solo then inviting the low level at boss room) it takes only 6 completions for this to get you from 30-40. With a few people running it you can just be invited back to back and get your 6 done in no time.

The Exotic drop-rate in Countdown is kind of awful, the idea behind getting Exotics from Countdown is a case of volume, and also buying the cache from the Laptop CD Vendor every 2-3 runs.

tl;dr Directives are what boosts your chance for TL to spawn, CD has no Directives, what it has is sheer loot numbers.
