The best way to describe how little a few blues on a 90% red setup will go, is to put only red on, and look at your armour. Then add the blues and check again.

For the most part, yes I am solo. And it kind of drives me a little crazy that if you want to really dish out a ton of damage you can’t have any armor cores.
I honestly just want a build that deals a good amount of damage (doesn’t take super long to kill heavies) and a good amount of armor/survivability.
I’d love to be able to set my world difficulty to challenging and not have so much issue.
Hell I’ve had kill squads in retaliation take me out, but it’s mostly when Black Tusk is involved because they are a pain.

You just don't really have time to go check the area once everyone else is done, or even to do it before you activate the Main objective.

I know how it works in theory, use the ACS12 shotgun/variants to build stacks quickly, then switch to primary, but is this based on the idea of using a shield? cause feels like otherwise most of the times I’m not close enough to enemies to start combat by building stacks reliably with a shotgun

and I feel like the shield evaporates rather quickly
