And no, Exotic has never been a higher rarity than High-End. Its always been a unique rarity.

@topaz cliff 1 of the big things i learned and you can take it or leave it as i know its hard learning the game and you feel more comfortable with 2 or even 3 blue armour pieces on but 1 thing you can do is go all red BUT wear exodus gloves....they ll save your life tons of times until you get good and it allows you to keep high damage.....exodus gloves basically take you out of combat and fully fill your health and armour in 1-2 secs .....just be aware they re slightly annoying to other players in group play coz of the smoke but most players wont say anything lol

Yeah collect as many useable drops as you can then you reroll the augments on each up to about 3 times. Then hopefully you can get all pieces with nice augments and decent attributes.

Yeah for me coming back after a very long break and not a lot of playtime (170 hrs or so) it’s surprising to me how striker is the most viable constantly in most modes, at least for my novice self, especially solo. Going for around 300 hrs in and I still feel I haven’t made a dent. Put a ton of hours in Destiny 1 back in the day but td2 is a whole different animal

Are you using a healing skill? I think it's quite normal that you can't take a lot of hits on heroic if you're running a damage load out. It's best not to get hit. It's definitely possible to run heroic with all red build.

Usually run crusader shield and striker drone. Have tried switching to technician and replacing the drone with the purple hive. Where you drop the hive with the shield is out and while you’re taking damage the hive is supposed to restore the shield. But downside is you have to stay in a certain radius unless you pick back up

It's not uncommon for server instances to get rebooted. Since it's not a global restart you will get redirected to the next best server in your region

@patent merlin If there's a non-hostile Hunter nearby in the open world (LZ), or in certain missions, they will cause the UI flickering.
We refer to them as "stalker hunters", and they don't attack, drop no loot, and run away when you get close.

They're most often in a place where you physically can't reach them, rooftops etc.

you can always go for armor/ health regen and that's great but there's no such thing as a free lunch, it's taking from DPS and really the best defense is making sure everything is absolutely, positively dead as fast as possible. And at higher levels of escalation, armor basically becomes irrelevant as you can be burst down in just a few hits. Shield builds can give you more of a tanky approach.
