I am here cause I need a bit of a help from anyone who knows the issue. So I downloaded the game again after long break, around 1 month ago. Since then I can not use chat in game. I already tried all kind of solution known to google. Turned on and off options in the game, verifying files, reinstallation of the game. Nothing works. I see in game it says that apparently I can chat but nobody is replying and i cant see anyone typing. I can see global chat but nothing in a group 🙁 Any ideas?

Is it a known issue that even though I queue for Retaliation matchmaking, it sometimes automatically switches to Random Call for Backup?
At first I thought it was my mistake, but when hardly anyone joins and I check the Matchmake tab, it’s almost always switched to Random Call for Backup. If I cancel once and start matchmaking for Retaliation again, people join almost immediately.
I’m not completely sure, but it seems like this issue happens when I become the team leader.

Yes, I was able to reproduce the issue.

  1. Start a Retaliation match.
  2. Become a Team Leader.
  3. The matchmaking automatically switches to Random Call for Backup

If you just sit around waiting for matchmaking, hardly anyone will join, and even if they do, they’re likely inexperienced players who aren’t here to play Retaliation.
The only workaround is to check the matchmaking tab and switch it yourself once you become the team leader.

Can someone explain to me the stats after a mission like I’m 5? I did tidal basin on legendary and it said my damage was only 30mil but I had 130 kills which was the most. When I looked at the stats it said my damage to named enemies was 33mil but team damage was 30mil. Huh?

I wanted to reply because this came up in a chat with a clanmate yesterday. It used to be that if you were already geared up, running something like Summit with randoms, and saw someone was new/undergeared, you would drop them whatever good stuff dropped for you - exotics, well rolled gear, maxed mods etc.... Sadly, an unintended consequence of the new prototype upgrade system is that that is unlikely to happen anymore at least in the short term. Why? Exotic components are the new 'bottleneck' to upgrade your gear - to upgrade (prototype) a weapon/gear piece you need 45 exotics per piece, meaning people break exotics down for components instead of sharing them. I doubt the devs will change that by allowing people to choose targeted loot in escalations because it would remove the grind.

What I'd suggest, if you want a good chance of getting the exotic you're after, is to go farm countdown on heroic difficulty. Not for the exotic drops inside of countdown, they're rare. I farmed for 45 exotic components in countdown yesterday and got maybe 3 actual exotic drops. Countdown runs give you credits which you can spend on exotic caches (a random guraranteed exotic) at the countdown vendor. An exotic cache costs 224 countdown credits. A 'good' heroic run gets you around 208. So that's just about 1 exotic cache/guranteed exotic every run/every 15 minutes.

In their view maybe a change is not needed at all, Division 2 has grown substantially this year and is in Ubisofts top 3 games atm. Maybe in development of Div 3 they will try to address this issue but I'm not sure they will start changing dmg formulas or giving huge changes in value to certain blue attributes and/or giving healers even more in their kit. They might feel Striker being the best is just fine for the game as the game has grown despite its "gear issues"

I am not sure if you are aware, but typically when a bullet passes through a thing that is alive, the alive thing leaks the fluid that sustains it, which is otherwise known as bleeding. There are also status affects caused by a shotgun, for example, in the form of potential for infection.

Whilst the game has some contrivances, they aren't actually make-believe and stem from real world things. This was a response to the "just remove the not bullet specific damage" thing.

Does anyone notice, how prototype augment percent are counting? I have everywhere double damage, and together have to be 18℅, but in stats it shows 16.2℅. And its always change by him self, even im not switching items. Thats somekinda visual thing?
And if im looking on stats, where is that double damage(Echo) its found on 7 pcs, but i have on all 9. There is limit?
