VIP is very RNG time wise, there is also the issue that if they try to hide next to a spawn closet, which happens far more often than you might think, they can be instantly killed, automatically failing the encounter. Generally it's best to focus on other encounters in countdown, as they are much harder to outright fail.

If you want to dedicate your time on grinding Expertise, start with Gearsets and Brandsets.

But donating same type of weapons/gears will give more exp compared to donating materials

having max expertise is like extra 2 red core which it's kinda bad trade unless you're grinding during 3x exp proficiency

which it skips a lot of time and materials I would say

most valuable materials would be Printer Filament, so save em up until the event

No, I mean you should farm gear with better rolls, that don't require optimisation, or every little of it. While at it you will get the mats as well.

For example if you use strikers set, farm all 4 pieces with max core and then recalibrate attributes to chc/chd. With brand sets/weapons it's a bit more rough ofc.
