The yellow hue that evident in DC could be a bug? Saturation is too much, skin tones are busted and its changing the way our gear skins are looking in game. Its not happening in NY as far as I can tell. Buying skins with the preview in the shop and then them looking different in game should not be happening.

You can turn on Neutral Lighting, but it does make nights incredibly dark.

fog blur will help a bit, but that's with the grain look.

Some of the changes are good, but the hue change (the yellow filter) looks bad, and its increasing the saturation, which we dont need as that makes skin tones look off. When buying weapon and character skins the preview should represent what we see in game, but that is no longer the case, especially in the midday sun. Neutral Lighting is a band aid as is mentioned, as its a different lighting model and nights are too dark. I do think this is a bug, as its not present in NYC iirc.

I like the fog blur effect, but switched off bloom, which sharpens the image but the saturation is not natural like it was before in game.

Snitch has a high chance to spawn when you get near one of his spots, but once spawned goes on 30m cooldown so it's possible you accidentally spawned him somewhere without noticing.

Best way is to wait until you're booting up the game for the first time in >30m, go straight to your favourite spot. If he's not there, log off and on and try the same spot again, should only take a few tries.

Further to the this awful yellow hue, I think the colour grading is also added blue to the shadows (black guns look blue-ish in places) Its a literal instagram filter. Add a toggle please, its not a good look. Confirmed NYC looks correct, even with the realism filter switched off over there.

In fact the toggle in the realism game mode to on = a very cooler image, subdued. When this is switched to off in the realism game mode it does get warmer, but its more like we are used to, and looks great in NYC

Back in DC there is a) no toggles and b) it has this hue issue thats distracting.

My biggest problem with this is that a lot of use have spent money on cosmetics that now look different in the game in daylight than when we previewed them. And we play a lot in the daylight. The rest of the changes seem decent, but this colour grade is crap.

We've been gearing up to take down Black Tusk and Sokolova, so there's no reason why a fight against a PMC won't take us to somewhere else in the world. I would argue the crafting system and its consequences is a large reason why Destiny 2 lost most of its player base. Removing rng entirely from the equation and replacing it with milestones literally makes the game less fun. There becomes no reason to get excited about or even interact with loot drops, a core part of the system. Instead, you mainly just complete chores until you get your guaranteed item. I do not consider this an engaging mechanic, and also is proven to kill player retention

You can doubt all you want, won’t change anything. And rng is a core part of the genre. Lessening rng allows new players to get things faster, but kills the dedicated audience’s enjoyment of the grind. You want loot to be a progression system, which is totally fine. But that’s a different genre of game. I think blending loot progression systems with rng looter shooter mechanics is great, actually. But removing too much rng from games built on the chase just makes things feel bland.
