Both give one. Heroic is brutal though if you are doing solo

Try practicing with your build on Challenging, then jumping to Heroic once you can finish with multiple minutes left, if not almost 10+.

Killing efficiently, and moving fast (make sure you use the waypoint GPS for each CP, even if you know the way) is the key to making Retaliation something you can farm, rather than just another mode.

Just learned a way to be able to get a "rescue hostage" mission on federal triangle for the manhunt mission..
apparently it's "invaded" and every mission that appears on it, will be blacktusk invaded, and wont stop appearing, and you clear the "invasion" on it by doing both Jefferson trade center and for some reason the zoo as well

Yes but some items are locked, and some places have a higher chance of dropping specific named items (see the list pinned in #td2-build-advice)

You don't need to do the zoo, just the trade centre and don't take over the cp. You'll get one to spawn just log in and out. That's how I got it to work for me. Hope it helps.

Probably worth saying ubi made 40 the base level for endgame activities. All the seasonal stuff works from that and is included in the base game. The dlc adds more maps, missions, story with additional vendors and targeted loot areas

I"ve tried that and it felt slow. Ive been getting more xp running summit on normal with all directives and completeing challenges. I can get to floor 10 and complete about 7 challenges in 15 minutes for 318K a pop so 2.4mil plus kill xp and a bunch of caches for it too.

I know I cant do 3 CP4s w/ 5D in 15 minutes

Thing with summit also is that progress is shared in a group. Each person runs the same challenges and everyones kills count

even Public Executions, which are most people's favorite activities because "its the best method" even though I have proved it wrong, fall off against Low Clear Times for CP4's

It took me a week to go from 200-300 on heroic. I went from 300-500 in 2 days in summit

I don't think you did enough CPs to get some useful BPs yet, it is super random, but, the more BPs you get, the higher chances to get some good BPs for crafting mats, pool of BPs you didnt get is getting smaller, so do more CP on challenging at least, its just takes time to earn good BPs

I've been playing since day one and the fastest way to grind xp imo is challenging with 5D upscale cp to 4. All open world activities and with 5x xp starting you'll get max watch no problem. I'm gonna use that time myself to hit 40k shd level all 💯 no exploits whatsoever.

the listed reward doesn't really matter, what changes how much you get, is the difficulty of what you're doing.
so Priority Objectives: Strongholds, Challenging or Heroic are fine, just go quick.
oh and having the Seasonal Modifiers active gives you an extra 10%.

When you open your map you will see factions progresses, circles, for example you have true sons, like you said at 99% , you have to go and do some true sons activities to gain that 1% and make it full, when its full it is Red, the circle becomes red and says its 100% and timer appears 6hours, from that moment you have 6 hours to go and start this retaliation with true sons, its on its own tab, when you open your map you can see that there is a tab for retaliation mod, which when you pick you will see the part of the map and number of CPs where retaliation is going to happen, so on tge same tab you are able to change targeted loot for this mod and to start the retaliation there is a button you should press and hold to start it, "F" I guess, and after you launched it, it reloads you to that retaliation region, you have timer about 3 or 5 minutes at start and you have to take over all the CP in the region there, every CP takeover will increase your timer and every killsquad you defeat on your way also give you lot of minutes to your timer. Also if you on your map see a few circles with different factions filled up to 99%, you can abort your 100% true sons and come to the next faction which will have some different region on the map for retaliation, thats in case you need some certain blueprint which outcasts have and true sons dont

Use a small microdot crosshair. It will act as a center point on your screen and will sorta be like "hipfire aiming" before fully aiming. You'll know where you're pointing at all times
