I think its more like that ubi doesn't want massive to do it, for example, Respawn entertainment (the devs from titanfall) managed to add crossplay to apex legends at launch, and they roughly have the same amount of developers as MSV. (between 200 and 300 ish)

It doesn't even have to be active cross progression. One time transfer would suffice in many cases. And technically it already works when buying on different PC store fronts. So it's pretty much minimal effort to enable it cross platform.

Probably the same # of devs, but question is how many of them at massive are actively working on div 2 and not some other project? We all do know this games dev team is a skeleton crew

You know what's wild... if you take the best concepts from lets say... Division, Ghost Recond BP/WL, and Assassin's Creed (the pre PRG), they have some amazing elements. If they could consistently combine them, with reliable coop and cross progression, some of their titles would be incredible.

For example, the co-op experience in WIldlands and Division are great... why not continue this with AC when people loved that piece of Unity.

Cross play, in my opinion, helps out the group of friends that’s 5 homies but 2 of them are on PC. Saves one side from needing to upgrade to play with the homies, saves the other side from downgrading to play with the homies, if that makes sense

i dont like this notion that took the videogame industry that shotguns have 5 meter range and after 30 meters you are "Long range". i know snowdrop engine doesnt really play in actual long range but you can easily shoot targets at several hundred meter with slugs for example. and pellets are still good on much longer ranges.

for me its about the feel of shotties, i always enjoyed them. but they are so limited and gimmicky for no obvious reason

Even if we humored the idea, HHF already hits dummy hard. Having determined on a shotgun would be immeasurably broken, as shotguns have 8 pellets. If each pellet hits the head, that's a few dozen million per pellet. Multiply that by 8. Easily over 100m per shot. That completely knocks Shroud/Nemesis off the list

its not so much that the heads are hard to hit, its that everyone else are doing so much dps that your window to hit this head is incredibly small. how often i shoot a head to crack the helmet, and by the time im ready to shoot again to recover my stack, the enemy is dead.. and again and again.. and i am just probing for an easy shot to start my stack because team is just absolutely melting the enemy. meanwhile im sat there without a stack and doing less than symbolic damage.

And you have to take into account the pvp playerbase is barely 10% of the overall total playerbase. On PC of all things, this number drops a significant amount compared to console (due to gamepass/PS+/Ubi Connect+)

Many reasons, a few I'm not allowed to talk about. However, XP is very easy to come by nowadays on division. Plenty of XP events to speed up leveling processes. Doing Heroic and directives helps, priority objectives helps, saving objective rewards (Seasonal Journey/Scouts/Projects) during XP events makes that go quicker too. Some people are PVP players, conflict gives plenty of levels too. DZ landmark farming gives easy levels. There's plenty of XP sources in the game

The more darker side is well, let's just say there's things you can pay for that do things to benefit you as well. I won't elaborate further. Up to you to find out yourself

There's currently no way to acquire a copy, unless you can find someone who still has the special "Houndsman" Bounty down in #lfg-pc

3.) headshot kill = proc talent = Bodyshot everything else and it will reproc

Most powerful attack in the game. More powerful than morozova mortars. They tested an enemy melee attack for the Manhattan project but decided it was too destructive

Funny enough in Ac unit when you swing rifle musket enemy stagger properly and then there is the dumb dumb Div melee

Get shot point blank with a shotgun: you take it in stride
Enemy taps you lightly on the shoulder: you get tossed through an entire building like in anime

it can sometimes happen but it was mostly something in AI pathfinding thinking the best cover was behind you, so they would beeline towards something behind you, get close enough to you to the point AI would notice they were too close to you and just melee

Started using Sweet Dreams for my pfe in legendaries and such after seeing someone else with it. It solves the problem of random reds and purples mowing you down
