Not the guides specifically but if you look up the gear in the other sections of the spreadsheet it'll list the sources. 90% of the gear in this game can drop pretty much anywhere though, people usually farm countdown to get it the fastest

Well, the story works as a tutorial, slowly introducing the systems and aspects of gameplay, so yeah by just throwing yourself directly into the endgame it IS very complicated and you'll have to do quite a lot of research into how things work.

I know what buffs that mask gives. But it's a weaker item than those that existed prior. And you don't need it for backfire to be good. If anything, it makes it deal less damage compared to some other masks.

catalyst has a couple of problems, the range limitation is odd, the 20% bonus armor at max stacks feels tacked on since it doenst stack for each kill so 20% is honestly almost nothing, so it's more the weird scenarios that you are on fire or bleeding

For general play (make this first before one specifically for this season) to make things easier aim for 2 blues and red everything else Striker minors should be enough CHC to get as close to 60% CHC as possible then everything crit damage... Start by getting a Famas with fast hands or Killer. Start eating the entire map for breakfast...

As a rough guide, for difficulties:

Story Mode: Easily doable without any form of build, no need to even synergize anything...just wear random crap you find and you'll be fine.

Normal: Not much different to story mode, but you will need to have some sort of synergized gear pieces t hat work with the weapon you're using.

Hard: You'll need a basic build. Making use of various different game mechanics and starting to build into a play style. THis is where crit chance becomes necessary.

Challenging: You'll need a solid build capable of handling multiple elite enemies at once and withstanding alot of damage.

Heroic: Your build needs to be semi perfect, and you need to be well aware of deep game mechanics and have maxed out Crit Chance to stand any chance.

Confirmation bias plays a huge part in people calling cheats. People already believe there are cheaters in every game they play, therefore when they see someone doing something they don't understand they automatically call cheat.

Div2 hackers are a lot more... Toxic... They found some way to lag-glitch, or whatever it's called. You see them lagging, try to down them, they shoot invisible from behind your back. What's funny is that they control that lag, they toggle it at will when necessary. Annoying as hell, and you can't do anything about it. Watching 15 players getting downed one by one 10 times in a row, I was one of those 15 downed 😂

It's bugged. The theory is it thinks your Specialization weapon is an exotic because the people that didn't choose their specialization yet were able to open the cache.

You can run Jefferson Trade Center to farm for Coyote's mask. Or target masks for CD and grind there. Target ARs and grind CD for Elmo's.

It helps if you can get other players to grind with you. Everyone sets their target loot for something you need and drops it for you if they get it.

The St Elmo's in the box doesn't give you an exotic component if you grind it, or so I'm told. I never got milestone caches.

Guyss...I have fps issue...I have intel i9 14900F and rtx 5070ti. Im running the game on my 1080p monitor 240hz on everything set to ultra and im getting only 65-70fps. I have checked that reduced input latency is turned off and dx12 renderer as on (also tried with off). Why is the fps so low?

I tried the ingame benchmark, it shows 160+ fps in ultra, but in game it is below 90 fps. V-Sync is off. All other games work perfectly fine except this. CPU and GPU util is same at 50-60%.

Getting all upset that someone is running a nbb loadout in your group and somehow that adds minutes to the runtime of whatever you're doing (ie a legendary mission), is very strange to me. If players stopped trying to impose their criteria for fun in this game onto others, there would be way less crankiness in the chats.
Each time nbb gear item comes up in any message, people get very upset and angry, as in I must trash nbb and anyone that uses it.

when I started playing, I found ninja backpack to be a creative tool. After playing for a while now, I still think it's a great piece overall. It has it's uses as @kind veldt says to be creative and make some niche builds you might have fun with, or maybe one shot variant builds or maybe healer builds, but in the end, in practice, memento or gear set specific backpacks will almost always have a greater value over it

Get your watch at level 40 from the base of operations. PvP is about armour cores and crit damage for most. Many run armour cores and regen, which is why you will struggle with damage.

You have to have beat the story, and then on the map there is an option at the bottom for "global settings" (Z)
