You dont need to craft. Technician Linked laser just needs tech spec unlock. iirc once rifle specific damage is unlocked in spec tree, linked laser should be available on any weapon with a long underbarrel attachment point

I have tried Bluescreen, Carnage, Wicked, Creeping Death but no matter which way you spin it Catalyst gives up far too much in the secondary attributes just to try and make it back up with a talent that is hampered by skill/backpack talent cooldowns. Sure you can spread the bleed on NPCs that are bunched up but that doesn't happen often enough in open-world to be worth the hassle, better to equip a full crit mask and focus NPCs blatting them out of existence quick like.
In conclusion - Catalyst is a no-go for dps imho but it might make a CC build shine but the 50 points in hazpro shd are countering the armour stacks u get for some people and bugging out

u can cheese the stacks atm to try and make it work by I was testing it… and found the easiest way to get my stacks and maintain them was to shoot a red container next to me in cover, and set myself on fire lol
I had to use a bit of regen to compensate the burn damage because any Hazpro reduces the stacks

Without thinking about it too hard, one was about 300k.
That's an exploit thing though, and very much useless.
There's no reason to go over 2k nowadays anyway, since that's where you stop getting that miniscule health boost.
Each SHD Level above 1k gives you a point in Scavenging, which is shared across all your account.

My assumption is that the fire it creates is not quite killing them, but activating something else nearby that does the murder, or the fire doesn't count, or a passing bird flew into their eye and stole your kill.

Killing two at the same time (eg through use of an explosive skill) should do it, otherwise I'm not sure exactly why it counts with weapons sometimes but not often. Kills without letting go of the trigger perhaps. Seems like the ideal time to test it out though, and let us know!

I think the double kills have to be very close together. Like within a half second of each other. I just spent 15 minutes trying to get my final double kill. Probably killed a dozen baddies in sets of two within the same trigger pull. None of them counted. Just had a red hyena run in front of a named boss right at the moment the boss was going down. Dropped them both within a half second of each other if not instantly. Finally got the last double kill.

I wonder if 'within the same trigger pull' isn't required but the timing must be fast. I can't test it further, but I wonder if having two offensive skills active would trigger a double kill if both skills dropped a baddie at the same time? While you are at firearms tier 5 of course.

Has anyone ran into the issue with Hunters disappearing after spawning them?
Last night I did the Cross, Death, Diamond and Phantom encounter. Spawned them. Got Cross and Diamond but noticed right away Death and Phantom went AWOL running around. When I was running around too and circling back I noticed that the two were gone, and I couldn't spawn them in anymore (not a time thing). good morning, Agent! yes, if you're on solo, 2 hunters tend to run as it happened to you in both Washington and NY if you don't kill them fast enough to the 2 "first", however, if they escaped, you can comeback at night onto the spawning point at the plaza in Washington and you should see the other two missing masks, however, you can't summon them anymore, BUT, this may not be the case in NY, sometimes they drop their masks, sometimes they don't (this info may be outdated and has be corrected to this day tho)... the summoning of 4 hunters is recommended to play it with 4 team members in order for you to get'em fast enough and acquire the masks as soon as you kill'em... i hope the info helps!

i forgot to mention that it's recommended that one team member have status effects and riot foam to stick them to the ground, that team member also can stop their pulse that prevents you from using your skills AND it's also recommended to not use skills like assault drone, or turrets of any kind because they can hack them and turn them against you, happy hunting, Agent!

Have them do the projects as well. Bc if they obtain the blueprint and buy blueprint shared access across characters, they won't be able to have it drop in the loot pool. They will need to delete those characters, make new ones, and do the quests just to get them to drop world loot

They will also be barred from doing the quests as well if they have the blueprint accessed on those characters as well. Hence why character deletion is mandatory

Dropping it for them is easiest but it bars them from getting duplicates if they need them. Have them do the quests on 1 character and then when they get those exotics, they can farm dupes themselves and share the dupes across other characters

If you bought the blueprint shared access from Inaya on that new character with the Nemesis/Chatterbox blueprint, you won't be able to do the quest for the guns if you have the BP. They also won't drop for open world loot either

This means you'll have to delete the character, do the quests, craft the guns, then buy shared access blueprints again just for them to drop in the open world loot pool on THAT SPECIFIC CHARACTER

Depends how good a group is at following directions as well as the overall DPS. If it's a group of experienced raiders, not too long. DH, about 11-15m. Iron Horse, about 20m. With a team of majority first timers, expect both raids to be nearly 25m-1h... If completed at all due to rage quitting

is there a chronological list of the missions for a new player that wants to do everything "in order". once i hit lvl 40 the game just unlocks most things to do even if i havent gotten there in the story yet.

why i gave you a shrug and explained. no clue if it was just a level 8 shepparding rank gave it out or if it was the gamepass project that gives it out, i'm guessing the gamepass since after that like the easter/valentines events you got a rank you got a caretaker you could share if you were nice

Foam, weaken then nade. Little slow but will get the kills. Survivalist nades burn should still count as grenade kills iirc but might wanna test it. Collector + festive delivery or cluster grenades from firewall too.

Easiest way is to temporarily immobilize targets (off the top of my head these come to mind: foam chem launcher, banshee pulse, blinder firefly, shock trap, flame turret) then toss grenades.
There's some gear that can make the whole effort easier, such as using
the exotic Collector vest with the named backpack Festive Delivery.
Otherwise spec-ing into explosive damage (2 x Grupo, China Light) helps.
